Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Blue Moon Realm

Heins calmly watched as the moon bore its silver light onto the boundless land that is the Woshtern Kingdom through the window, his mind preoccuppied with multitude of matters.

As he lived his baby life, a month seamlessly passed by.

This past month wasn't eventful, but it's quite nice. Heins enjoyed their careful tending daily, and subconsciously, his affection towards his shameless parents, despite being a pragmatic adult, has grown.

His beady eyes glanced at his mother, who calmly sewed a small hat for him, the fireplace softly highlighted her beautiful features. His countenance softened as he cooed softly. His mother smiled and made a series of playful gestures before she continued her work.

Heins continued to read the thick leather book sprawled on the floor.

By now, his parents have long accepted that he was not by any means an ordinary baby. The sight of a small baby solemnly reading a thick history book was no longer a strange sight within this household.

This month, the abilities he could gain are unfortunately very limited. After all, he was just a baby, so his activity was limited within this household. Even the numerous abilities he gained this past month was due to his extreme secrecy in partaking them, such as swinging a small knife, making a very simple stuffed bread, and such.

By now, he had over 50 abilities, gaining over 33 abilities in just a month. Compared to the previous month, his gains were nothing sort of tremendous. However, he consider it very limited primarily because these much abilities are gained only by utilising the available things under this household.

He, who appeared to be a small baby, has already far surpassed the adults in terms of growth. He still count as an infant, but his body functionability has already transcended the human limit.

Moreover, after further experiment by utilizing this 'Controllable Physique Syndrome', he finally understood the extent of its capabilities.

Heins differentiate the gained abilities into four categories: Ordinary, Mastery, Physical and Extraordinary.

Ordinary abilities entailed simple abilities, like Cooking, Running, Punching, Kicking, and such.

Mastery abilities entailed proficiency, for example: Swordsmanship, Archery, Spearmanship, Knifemanship, Axemanship, and such. Even musical instruments mastery were included, though the way to attain them was somewhat strange. He remembered how he followed a certain rythm as he knocked the cradle's head, and soon he gained the ability to play triangle, noted under the name of [Triangle Mastery].

Physical abilities entailed the human physique, such as Arm Power, Leg Power, Breathing Capacity, Tendon Durability, Muscle Density, Hair Lusterness and such.

As for Extraordinary abilities, it has entered the boundary the scientists in his previous life wished to understand, entailing the most complex and intricate matters of the human body. In this world, it also included the mystical property called Qi. Extraordinary abilitied included: Mind Computability, Mind Comprehensability, Potential Hormon Growth, Willpower, Heart Mastery, Sensitivity of Five Senses, Sixth Sense and others.

Things such as Dignified Demeanor, Attractive Disposition, Luck Enhancement, Graceful Bearing and Intimidating Presence are also included in the Extraordinary category, since they are very covert and could only be received mostly through innate means. Acquired dispositions usually required the accumulation of experience of a lifetime, along with prolonged supreme authority.

Heins had only gained the Attractice Disposition, with no way to gain other similar abilities at the current moment.

As for Qi, unfortunately, Heins had yet to delved deep into this mythical property that allowed mankind to excavate their physique, thus there are currently no corresponding abilities.

In his free time, he already grouped abilities neccesary for certain situations. For example, Sixth Sense is clearly perfect if he felt anxious at heart, with Heart Mastery capable of taking his emotions under control, creating a complimentary effect.

He also speculated deeply regarding the reason why he could live normally despite merely having 0.0001 points allocated into neccessary abilities. Wouldn't that be equivalent to one in ten thousand of an ordinary human?

After dabbling here and there, Heins found out why: it's growth!

Since 'ordinary' was defined through a certain number, such as 1, there was a certain range that represent ordinary, and 0.0001 to 1 is precisely that. Beyond one has touched the boundary of the Extraordinary.

For an adult, if they had 0.0001 for Eyesight, they would turn blind. However, for a baby, 0.0001 is a perfect number.

So having 1 for Arm Power as a baby is equivalent to having a fully trained adult arm in a baby body, while 0.0001 for Arm Power is just a normal baby arm. Of course, this only applicable to Physical abilities.

0.0001 for Swordsmanship meant they never touched a sword in their lives, same with other Auxiliary, Ordinary and Extraordinary abilities. Of course, there are exceptions, such as Mind Computability, but the trend is relatively stable.

As he grew up, Heins must adjust all of the Physical abilities with his growth. As of now, however, he'd still be able to allocate quite a lot of points into Potential Hormon Growth.

[Potential Hormon Growth: 47.9950]

Heins began to ponder. Potential Hormon Growth promoted his growth, and with the current allocated points, it boosted his growth to an unpredecented degree. So, since he already had strength beyond a full trained adult, even with merely 0.0001 points allocated to Arm Power, Leg Power and Constitution Enhancement, then how strong he would be if he allocated a single point in each ability?

His eyes shone. He is not wrong to invest all his points into Potential Hormon Growth!

He's only a month and a week old!

However, Heins turned solemn. If he was born in the modern era, he definitely could walk sideways anywhere, with his current unpredecented strength, but from what he had read, this world is not just a mere mystical world.

It's an extremely boundless world!

Woshtern Kingdom is merely one of the minor forces within the Western Faction, one of the five major regions of the Blue Moon Realm. Don't be fooled by how few the major regions were. A major region stretched up to ten billion kilometer in radius. Compared to the surface if Earth, it was over 200 million times vaster!

The biggest major region, the Central Faction, is five times of the four other major regions combined. That's 4 billion times vaster! Not to mention the boundless sea that stretched endlessly!

Most of the Blue Moon Realm's history has either been long gone, or was preserved and kept by some of the oldest forces within the Blue Moon Realm. Most of the rumors circulated in general were either fabricated or straight up made up.

From the thick history book he read, the generalized history of the Blue Moon Realm was started by the appearance of an extraterrestrial creature who happened to descend upon this land, taking on the appearance of a peerless swordsman, who taught the natives the way of the Seeker. He abolished the rampaging monsters and demons and established order, bringing peace and prosperity.

Before his appearance, this world is dominated by monsters and demons, with humans treated as mere playthings and livestocks, grim and hopeless to the extreme. It wasn't until the extraterrestrial being who imparted mankind his teaching appeared that they could finally fight back.

Those who had been taught began to differ in views of what a Seeker was. The Western Faction inherited the view that a Seeker is an Excavator, while the Eastern Faction consider being a Seeker as a Cultivator. The Southern Faction inherited the view of a Believer, while the Northern Faction consider a Seeker as a Defier.

Only the Central Faction kept the name as it was. It was also the predecessor from the Central Faction that the peerless Extraterrestrial consider as the most talented, hence the size of its territory far surpassed the other factions.

Each predecessor has their own ancestral teachings, which resulted in the extreme difference in lifestyle between the five factions.

The Western Faction adapted the Feudal Regime, while the Eastern Faction has its forces scattered, with sects and families becoming the mainstream. The Southern Faction heavily nurtured the belief of their predecessors, living in tribes and clans. The Northern Faction was famous for its everlasting winter, with one supreme empire leading the whole faction. They were prominently called as the Great Vandalk Empire.

The Central Faction, which unanimously regarded as the Blue Moon Realm's overlord, called itself the Divine Domain, with numerous forces presiding over this vast land. It gathered the best Seekers of the world, becoming the holy place for practioners to pursue higher prospects in their respective path.

The Central Faction's predecessor, fully inheriting the noble spirit of the extraterrestrial being, benevolently established a world-wide nurtural site, for the sake of nurturing exceptional seeds within the realm, respectfully known as the Blue Moon Institution. He has the exact same spirit of his benevolent master, who was willing to impart his wisdom for later generations.

Of course, a generalized historical text has always been biased, so Heins regarded it as a medium to understand the world, being indifferent towards the majority of the content.

"This world is unpredecentedly vast."

An ordinary being, no matter how many times stronger than their peers, was still just a bigger ant compared to the incomparably vast Blue Moon Realm.

Only a Seeker is qualified to transcend the status of a mere ant. Heins deeply reflected this as a baby.
