Chapter 3 - 8 April

đź“Ť Author Shuts Down All Fan Projects and Stories Effective Immediately

April 8th, 2025

Today marks a definitive turning point for a writer who, after years of pouring creativity and personal sacrifice into fanfics and original novels, has chosen to step away from writing for the public entirely. Citing emotional exhaustion, complete lack of reader support, and continued health struggles, the author has officially ceased work on all publicly available stories.

"No one cares. No one values the effort. So as of today, I quit completely. No one deserves my stories or anything good I could offer. If anyone wants something from me, they'll have to pay first."

Among the discontinued projects is SCP: A True Anomaly, which had gained traction for its unique interpretation of the SCP universe. Despite numerous chapters written and saved in preparation, all progress on the story—and others—has now been locked away indefinitely.

"All fanfics are being stopped. Doesn't matter which one you were waiting for—every single chapter I wrote is for me only now."

The decision wasn't made lightly. Even while ill, the author reportedly pushed themselves to continue working on their writing, hoping for a signal of appreciation from readers. That response, in their words, never came.

"I got sick today. Still, I tried to work on the fanfics, waiting—hoping—for someone to care. No one did. So I'm done."

The shutdown includes 14 fanfics and 7 unpublished novels that had been prepared for future release. While contractual obligations may technically keep the novels in rotation, the author noted they are under no obligation to update or finalize anything—and currently have no intention to.

"The novels will stay up because of the contract, but I don't have to continue them. I can stop updating them whenever I want—and I just might."

Communication channels have been effectively closed, and the author made it abundantly clear that they no longer wish to be contacted unless compensation is involved.

"Anyone interested? There's no contact. Get lost—or pay."

This announcement serves as a stark reminder of how unseen effort, especially in creative fields, can quietly unravel when met with indifference.
