------------------------------------------------------------
Not counting other tips, the total amount was enough to make an average middle-class family cry.
In the same hall, Mrs. Yukinoshita had originally wanted to scold her daughter for bringing shame to the Yukinoshita family. However, her husband stopped her.
"Mihashi, what do you mean?"
"When our daughter is older, she'll have her own ideas. Let it go."
"Besides, that young man is not simple. It was thanks to him that you were safe last time."
At these words, Mrs. Yukinoshita fell silent and sat back down. It wasn't just because Shiro saved her; after that incident, his insights had led them to explore the supernatural world.
Shizuka Hiratsuka had shared vital information with her about that world, having experienced it firsthand.
Considering various factors, she acquiesced to Haruno's behavior. She recalled the night Haruno had come to her, expressing her desire to help Yukino get her life back on track.
Now that she thought about it, Haruno was waiting for her here, and she sighed silently. Although still reluctant, memories of her own youthful indiscretions flashed through her mind. Mrs. Yukinoshita glanced at her husband and ultimately chose to remain silent.

After the meal, seeing that it was still early, Shiro suggested a walk by the artificial lake. Eriri was fine with this, but what annoyed her was that Haruno shamelessly followed along.
The date Eriri had dreamed of turned into an unwelcome trio outing.
As the sun set, the white moon rose, casting soft light over the expansive artificial lake. The mid-level villas and high-end hotels surrounding it were uniquely designed, perfectly integrated into the environment, creating a comfortable atmosphere.
The three walked along the footpath by the lake, their reflections shimmering in the water. None of them spoke, lost in the tranquility of the moment.
But fate has a way of intervening. Just as they were enjoying their peace, a familiar voice broke the silence.
"Yo! Long time no see."
A slightly frivolous tone reached their ears, and Shiro immediately recognized it without turning around. In Japan, no other man besides Gojo Satoru would speak to him like that.
They turned to see Gojo Satoru, his silver-white hair and black-and-purple uniform contrasting sharply with the night, holding a bag in his hand.
"Gojo Satoru, what are you doing here?" Shiro asked.
"Well, the old man at home asked me to represent the family. I just came out for some fresh air and happened to run into you."
As he spoke, Shiro noticed Gojo's gaze linger briefly on Eriri.
"It seems I came at the wrong time," Gojo added.
Shiro rubbed his head. "If you had any self-awareness, you wouldn't have called me just now."
"Come on, we're acquainted, right?"
"If possible, I'd rather not know you at all. I'd like to leave now." With that, he picked up Eriri and Haruno, preparing to walk away.
"Wait!" Gojo called out, stopping him.
Shiro sighed internally, knowing Gojo must have something to discuss. Reluctantly, he stayed to listen.
"Okay, just tell me what's going on."
Gojo, aware of the power in Eriri and Haruno's backgrounds, proceeded to explain. Shinomiya Cloudhawk, the eldest son of the Shinomiya family, had been threatened by a curse master organization. To prevent an attack, he hired a spell specialist, including Gojo and others, for protection.
"We advised Shinomiya Cloudhawk to stay within our protective range, but he refused, insisting he wasn't going to hide away like a turtle," Gojo explained.
"Desperate to maintain his pride, he insisted on coming to Totsuki Resort," he added, spreading his hands. "It's tough for us—how can we be free like you?"
Shiro sneered. "I've never seen you be gentle when collecting fees."
"By the way, don't forget to pay me for last time. I remember that."
The funds from the Supernatural Administration Bureau were supposed to go through the Magic College before reaching Shiro, and he hadn't forgotten that Gojo still owed him.
"Ah, I'll talk to the principal when I get back," Gojo replied with a laugh.
Shiro nodded, agreeing with him. "So, why did you seek me out this time?"
Gojo sighed helplessly. "We're short on manpower. I'm the only one here, responsible for both annihilation and protection. If something goes wrong, it could be disastrous."
He hadn't yet reached the level of power he would later achieve, and his six eyes were still developing. If there were local personnel available, the situation might not be so precarious.
"I want to ask you to help out. If anything unexpected happens, I hope you can protect your employer," Gojo said earnestly.
"Of course, I can take on the final commission and give you 80 million yen afterward."
