Chapter 11 - Chapter 10

"Yeah! I finally passed."

Looking at Anna's happy expression, Elsa felt just as happy for her.

After all, Anna had finally become a proper little princess.

However, Elsa could never have guessed that Anna wasn't happy because she had passed the etiquette test but because of something someone had said.

She couldn't help but think back to that young man in such an atmosphere. She still remembers when Anna was young and naive, and she and El took care of her.

Those were such happy moments. Back then, Anna always liked to follow him around.

That's why she worked so hard to study etiquette, just hoping to impress him.

'Hmm... I'll go tell him I passed!'

Thinking about this, Anna smiled a little.

"Elsa, let's hurry up and find him. He's not the only one who passed the test now!"

Anna exclaimed excitedly, jumping as she couldn't wait to tell him that she had passed the exam.

She then ran toward the garden where Elijah was.

"Alright!"

Elsa was also thinking the same thing and quickly followed her.

...

"Huh? Where is he? He disappeared so quickly. Did he hide or something?"

Anna was disappointed when she finally got to the garden. She wondered if Elijah had tricked her and didn't actually want to show her the magic after all.

Elsa, who had followed her, was also disappointed. Her blue eyes lost their sparkle for a moment, but then they brightened up again.

"Anna! Do you think El has gone off to do another special training with Father?"

Elsa said with a guess.

There was no other explanation. Since El didn't have magic at the beginning, King Agnarr wanted him to become a capable person.

After all, El carried the burden of a family grudge, but they couldn't tell him that yet. They planned to wait until he became stronger before revealing the truth.

So, starting when Elijah was four years old, King Agnarr began teaching him swordsmanship, hoping to make him a great knight.

Unexpectedly, El's learning ability was so extraordinary that he surpassed all the teachers who had trained him.

Even after his magic awakened, El gradually beat even the kingdom's most skilled knight commander, eventually defeating him.

Of course, he defeated him in pure skill but not endurance. He's still a child after all.

As a result, rumors began spreading that Prince Elijah was born to be a knight and that he would protect Arendelle in the future.

Of course, King Agnarr was happy with El's progress, but he also worried that others with ulterior motives might notice him.

To keep him safe, King Agnarr decided to personally train him. Not only did he continue teaching him swordsmanship but also a variety of other skills, such as how to govern a kingdom, how to treat others, and so on.

He raised El like his own son.

Elijah was deeply moved.

It was the first time he truly felt the warmth of family. He didn't refuse his father's wishes and agreed to everything. He had to admit that his father, King Agnarr, wasn't someone to be underestimated.

The things King Agnarr taught him were so valuable and helpful, even though El had lived for many years in his past life.

"That's right. It's probably Father's special training again if we think about it. So, let's just play here in the garden for a while."

Anna's eyes lit up when she heard that.

Since Father's training took so long and she couldn't see El right away, she decided to wait and play with Elsa for now.

"Yeah!"

Elsa also thought about it.

Since they wouldn't see El if they went there, they might as well have fun for now.

"Elsa, come help me push the swing!"

Anna called excitedly.

"Alright, I'm coming!"

Elsa replied, smiling as she quickly went over to help Anna.

...

Just a moment ago, Anna and Elsa were in the middle of the test while Elijah, sitting on the swing, heard footsteps approaching.

"Is it time already?"

Eir asked.

"Yes, Your Highness. His Majesty is waiting for you."

A troll appeared at the garden entrance. It was Karon, who, well... had grown a bit taller since a few years ago.

After all these years, the three young ones had gradually grown up. After King Agnar got to know them, he made a plan for each of them.

Karon had been assigned as the leader of the personal guard. His main task was to protect Elsa, Elijah, and Anna.

The training he had over the past few years had made him more serious and reliable.

Then Sosi became a mercenary with the goal of improving his combat abilities so he could help protect Arendelle and assist El and the others in the future.

After all, Sosi knew the significance of successfully forming a contract with a contract beast at such a young age as he did to Jeff.

It was later heard that Sossi had formed his own mercenary group. They earned money by hunting various strange beasts and sometimes took on tasks like protecting merchant caravans.

He was doing quite well, but no one really knew how strong he was now, and his reputation had spread, even reaching Arendelle, where he was known as the "Wolf Knight."

They even misidentified him because of his immense strength and unique fur that didn't resemble that of a dog, but nobody seemed to mind.

On the other hand, King Agnarr had a bit of a headache with Hal. He didn't know what to do with him, and eventually, Hal requested that he open a restaurant.

King Agnar had no choice but to reluctantly agree, but to everyone's surprise, this turned out to unlock a whole new talent for Hal.

Not only was he an excellent eater, but he was also amazing at cooking. The dishes he made were even better than what was served in the royal palace.

The restaurant became a chain and soon became the most popular food spot in Arendelle, with Hal becoming known as the kingdom's top food connoisseur.

When Elijah heard this news, he couldn't believe it.

Overall, the three young ones were doing quite well, and El knew they would greatly help him in the future.

"Alright, I got it. You go ahead and get back to work!"

El waved his hand.

He knew that Karon was very busy protecting them, and it was a rare thing for him to find the time to come and remind him.

"Mm!"

Karon responded and quickly vanished, hiding away. These were the results of King Agnar's training.

He then made his way to the training room.

"Father, I'm here!"

He pushed open the door and saw King Agnarr, who had already changed into his training attire.

"Mm! Get ready, and we'll begin today's training. This will be your last training session."

King Agnarr said with a bit of frustration. He had originally thought that it would take him much longer to master everything he was teaching.

However, after over a year of training, Elijah had nearly learned everything King Agnarr taught him.

There was hardly anything left to teach him, and as a father, Agnarr couldn't help but feel a bit helpless.
