Chapter 18 - 18

Chapter Eighteen: Jealousy and Devotion

---

Crow, now surrounded by the 13 Divine Rank women, basked in the overwhelming aura of their power and submission. Each of them pressed closer to him, their bodies moving against his in an almost hypnotic dance of devotion. His heart raced with the power they bestowed upon him, but his mind was focused on what he had just gained: complete control over beings of unimaginable strength.

But as Crow surveyed the scene, he couldn't help but notice the unmistakable tension in the air. His gaze shifted toward Mirko and Lady Nagant, who were standing off to the side, their eyes fixed on him.

---

Mirko, usually brash and confident, was seething with jealousy. Her fists clenched at her sides, her teeth gritted as she watched him being swarmed by the stunning women who were now all but clinging to him. The way they all hung on him, their voices soft with submission, sent a wave of possessiveness over her. Her usual pride was chipped away by the sight of Crow surrounded by such beauty, and it only made her want him more.

---

Lady Nagant, who was often cool and calculated, looked even more irritated, her gaze sharp and calculating as she observed the way the Divine Rank women draped themselves over Crow. Her jealousy simmered beneath the surface, and though she tried to mask it, the tight grip she had on Crow's arm betrayed her inner turmoil.

---

Neither woman was used to feeling jealous, especially not in a situation like this. But there was something about the way Crow had effortlessly taken control of these powerful women, and the way they all looked at him—worshipping him, clinging to him—that struck a chord deep within both Mirko and Nagant.

---

Mirko's voice broke the silence, dripping with sarcasm but tinged with frustration. "Seems like I'm not the only one who wants your attention, huh?" Her eyes narrowed as she shot a glance toward Lady Nagant, whose expression was unreadable but tense.

---

Lady Nagant, her voice smooth but laced with irritation, added, "I never thought I'd see the day when you'd be surrounded by so many... distractions." She gritted her teeth but kept her tone even, though it was clear that the situation was pushing her patience to its limits.

---

Crow turned his head slightly, his eyes glinting with amusement as he looked at the two women who had served him faithfully. Their feelings of jealousy were obvious, but that only seemed to amuse him more.

---

"Are you two jealous?" Crow's voice was calm, almost casual, as he addressed Mirko and Nagant. He wasn't angry or concerned. In fact, he found the situation entertaining. He could sense their emotions—could feel the jealousy in the air as thick as a tangible force.

---

Both Mirko and Nagant went silent for a moment, unsure of how to respond, their feelings caught between frustration and an undeniable desire for Crow's attention. They exchanged a glance before Mirko finally spoke up, her voice softer now, more vulnerable than Crow had ever heard it.

---

"I just... I don't like seeing you so distracted," she admitted, her words edged with a mix of jealousy and longing. "You've got all these powerful women hanging on you, and I... I don't want to be left behind."

---

Lady Nagant, though quieter, also seemed to acknowledge the uncomfortable feelings swirling between them. "We've been with you from the start. And now, seeing them clinging to you like this..." Her words trailed off, but the meaning was clear. "It's hard to swallow."

---

Crow couldn't help but chuckle, a low, amused sound that sent a ripple of discomfort through Mirko and Nagant. He had them exactly where he wanted them—jealous, possessive, and craving his attention. It was an intoxicating feeling.

---

"You two are precious," Crow said, his voice warm yet teasing. "Don't worry. You're still my favorites." He placed a hand on Mirko's head, ruffling her hair gently, before doing the same to Lady Nagant. Their bodies stiffened, their cheeks flushed, but the touch was enough to calm them—if only slightly.

---

Mirko, still fuming, huffed softly. "You're not fooling anyone, you know. We both want you... and we're not gonna let them take your attention away from us." Her voice was laced with a possessive intensity, but her eyes softened, betraying her true feelings.

---

Lady Nagant leaned closer to Crow, her voice quieter but still filled with longing. "We've been with you since the beginning, Master. We don't need anyone else to prove our loyalty... just you." There was an edge to her words—an unspoken challenge to the others, even as she clung to him, desperate for his approval.

---

Crow's smile only deepened as he observed the two women vying for his attention, the other Divine Rank women still watching with longing. "I think both of you need to be reminded of something," he said, his tone authoritative but tinged with a playful challenge. "You're both mine... and you always will be."

---

He placed a hand on each of their shoulders, pulling them closer, their bodies pressed against his. "But if you want to prove your loyalty, show me." His eyes sparkled with amusement as he looked at them, his dominance unchallenged.

---

For a moment, there was silence, broken only by the subtle tension in the air. Mirko and Lady Nagant, despite their jealousy, couldn't resist the pull of Crow's power. It was undeniable, intoxicating, and the promise of his attention was enough to keep them close.

---

The Divine Rank women surrounding Crow watched with interest, but they understood. In Crow's world, there was room for only one true leader—the one who controlled them all. And in this moment, Mirko and Lady Nagant were both eager to remind Crow, and themselves, of their unwavering loyalty.

---

Crow's lips curled into a satisfied smile as he watched the two women, now in close proximity to him, their jealousy fading into deeper, more obedient submission. His dominance was assured, and he knew that with each passing moment, their loyalty—and devotion—would grow.
