Chapter: 20, Trapped Self
In front of the Dark City, Sunny and the other three were standing in front of the gate. Before entering the gate, Sunny heard a voice out of nowhere.
"You'll regret it!"
Sunny smiled and silently followed the others.

Inside the city, Noir looked at the person in front of him, who is also a memory trader in the Dark City. With a sigh he repeated the words he said a moment ago.
"Okay, so I will give you a storage memory and 4 thousand soul shards in exchange, you will give me every single memory except two that you have. Are you willing for this trade?"
The man desperately nodded his head, if he didn't agree on something like this then he actually deserves to die in this hell. He can take the soul shards to the waking world and thinking about the credits he will receive, that can make his life comfortable, he was extremely excited.
They quickly made the trade and Noir left the place with the memories. Right now, He has so many memories and soul shards that he can't even count. There is an entire mountain full of soul shards from dormant to great ones.
Not only has that, His Memory and Echo list topped the charts. He needs to scroll for at least for an hour at full speed before he can see the end of it. The list of Echo is the same.
Right now, even one-fifth of the echoes are enough to conquer the entire Crimson Spire. Even though he's not going to do that, he is going to face the entire army of Crimson spire alone.
It might've looked foolish before, but with the amount of clones he has, and the amount of cores those clones have, they alone make his physical capabilities comparable to a Saint, along with the essence and abilities of a saint.
Right now, Noir can call himself an unofficial saint, since the world and the spell haven't recognized him as a Transcendent. He is not an official transcendent but an unofficial one.
While roaming the streets of the dark city, Noir got the signal from Aura and headed toward their way.

A while later, Noir saw the four of them standing in the middle of the street
As soon as Sunny saw him, she rushed toward him excitedly. But Aura stopped her by using her aspect and made her float in the air unable to move.
Both Cassie and Nephis were stunned. They never expected this, but why is Noir doing this to sunny?' They both thought.
Jin quickly appeared from the side. He stood silently behind Noir, waiting for the events to begin.
Seeing him, Nephi's eyes lit up, she wanted to go to him but aura stopped her. Something big has gone wrong with sunny, and they need to know what it is.
Noir silently stared at Sunny for a while; there was nothing physically wrong with her, looking at her soul also showed no problems. Everything about her looked normal so far. But there definitely is something that he can't think of.
Not getting any hint, He asked her directly "You are not sunless. Everything about you says that you are but something is wrong with your behavior that I don't know the reason for. So I will ask directly. Who Are You?"
A silence enveloped them; Cassie was contemplating the meaning of his words and Nephis was just confused on what was going on.
Sunny started to laugh, a mad laugh that sent shivers down both Cassie and Nephi's spines.
After calming herself, she said smiling and looking directly at Noir's eyes "it seems that you know more about me than I thought, honey~"
Soon, the smile turned mad and she said looking like a crazy person, and she admitted "I am sunny, just not the one you know of."
"Who are you?" Noir asked, not the slightest bit surprised. Aura and Jin were also calm, they knew about it since noir had warned them before. But that was not the same with Cassie and Nephis.
They were both in disbelief after hearing someone they spend times of near death with. They couldn't think about the possibility that they never truly knew her.
They were thinking that Sunny might have hidden his true self up until now without them noticing or some Nightmare creature that can disguise as humans might have taken control over her body.
They both took their stance, ready to intervene if anything went wrong, although it won't be necessary after they saw how Aura has captured her and Jin, who was known as the most skilled dreamer, is here. If he can be this calm, then the situation might already be in their control.
Sunny laughed harder after hearing the question. She replied "Who am I? Honey, I am pretty sure that you already know who I am."
Noir's eyes widened and an amused smile found its way on his face. He smiled widely as he lowered his eyes and muttered "Interesting…"
He looked at her and said calmly as if meeting an old acquaintance "I have to say, I'm surprised, but still… It is truly nice to meet you… Sin of Solace"
Yes, the person in front of them was none other than the Sword Wraith of the Sin of Solace. It had somehow taken control over this body.
"Is the true consciousness still here?" Noir asked. He still needed the true Consciousness Sunny. Because, a [Fated] beings death will affect the Entire World
"Yes, she is currently right behind you." She said pointing toward Noir's back where another sunny was standing with a shocked expression, but it was only visible to the sword wraith, just like its previous state.
Noir laughed, completely amused by the situation. In his amusement, he said something aloud that he didn't want to say right now
"Oh, how amusing... Lost from Light, Bastard Son of Fate and Rightful Heir of Death has now been reduced to being a single secondary consciousness."
Suddenly, he felt something in his soul, as if he had been handed the leash tied to a dangerous tiger. But this particular leash was tied to a Noble Cockroach that is very, very hard to kill.
