Chapter 46: You Created a New Spell?

"This troll."

Professor Snape's low voice was heard.

He gazed at Dylan, who was blinking at him expectantly.

"I will prepare the materials it can provide when the time comes."

Dylan immediately smiled and said, "Alright, professor!"

He did not even need to do anything himself. Professor Snape had done the work of how to extract the troll's materials for him!

Snape gazed at the troll's corpse: "A very powerful Incendio."

Dylan smiled humbly.

"However, you burnt off its whiskers and mucus. Next time, best not use this spell again."

Dylan's smile froze.

What was Professor Snape attempting to communicate?

Was he simply stating not to singe off usable potion ingredients next time?

Or. did he suspect something was wrong?

Dylan glanced at the troll body out of the corner of his eye.

Logically, with his buff, others wouldn't be able to detect any dark magic traces.

Professor Snape wouldn't have found anything!

Dylan even considered the burning characteristics of Incendio and Fiendfyre.

After all, with max-level Fiendfyre, he could precisely manipulate the Fiendfyre burning traces on the troll's body.

It wouldn't be so obvious to someone familiar with a little dark magic that it was burned by Fiendfyre, not Incendio.

"Calm down, Dylan, don't be afraid. Even if someone can deduce you know Fiendfyre, will anyone be able to deduce you know Avada Kedavra? If anyone has the courage to interrogate you, you."

Dylan was daydreaming when he noticed Professor Snape looking at him.

He immediately closed down the thoughts in his mind.

He almost forgot that Professor Snape was a Legilimens.

Although he didn't personally cast the spell on him, he could definitely feel the thoughts coming from his emotions.

"All right, go rest now."

Suddenly, Professor McGonagall cut in.

Professor Snape turned from Dylan, glared at Harry, and then left through the door with a swish of his black robe.

Harry touched his nose, feeling inexplicably.

Why did this man always bully him?

Dylan also felt this.

It seemed like someone was going to be very unfortunate later.

"But that has nothing to do with me."

Dylan raised his head.

"Then I'll be off too, Professor McGonagall."

He smiled at Professor McGonagall.

Then he ushered Harry and the rest through the door.

Quirrell stood beside Professor McGonagall, silently watching Dylan's retreating back, his eyes twitching slightly.

Dylan was a Legilimens too.

Even though he could not see what was at his back, he still felt a particular gaze, one filled with inquiry, on him.

"Voldemort above—and on the face."

Dylan answered Harry and Ron's excited questions beside him.

He thought in his head.

"Quirrell is possessed by Voldemort. Do they share control of the body at the same time, or is it just Quirrell who is aware now, and Voldemort has fallen silent?"

This boy now seemed to have seen him.

"Well, if he's really going to do anything to me, I'll let Voldemort have a taste of Crucio."

In the dormitory, Dylan continued reading, as if he had not been disturbed at all.

Harry followed Ron and Hermione to apologize.

Seamus and Neville in the dormitory were happy to see the three of them finally show up. They had something to ask.

But when they saw Dylan take out a book and read it with enthusiasm the second he entered the room.

The two looked at each other and went to find Harry and the others.

When November set in, the weather grew colder.

Even the Black Lake became a solid block of ice.

Dylan even saw little wizards ice skating on it.

But they were soon driven off.

One morning.

Dylan found Luna curled up lazily and not inclined to play with him.

"Oh dear, what a pity. I bought ferret meat strips. No one is willing to eat them, so I'll let Coal Ball eat them."

"Chirp?!"

Luna, who had tucked her head into her neck and wings, abruptly poked her head out, with her ears laid back, eyes wide, and stared straight at Dylan.

"You little glutton."

Dylan chuckled and scolded, then fed her some ferret meat strips to eat, then went to the Great Hall, planning to go to Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration class after lunch.

The troll incident didn't cause a stir at Hogwarts.

It was as if it had been actively suppressed.

But Dylan received the potion ingredients from Professor Snape a few days after Halloween.

And it wasn't just the troll's things!

Professor Snape also put lots of other nice stuff in the package he sent him.

Some potion ingredients were hard to buy even with money.

It made Dylan respect Professor Snape even more.

Even his greasy hair looked so refreshing.

If anyone had the guts to say that Professor Snape didn't wash his hair, he would jump out and scold him!

What was that? The gloss of the professor's hair was clearly a special fashion!

A wizard's style!

Having completed class one day.

Dylan was sitting with Professor McGonagall again.

After Professor McGonagall had completed tutoring Dylan.

Dylan stayed in his seat and did not immediately leave.

"Professor, I appreciate your lessons. It made me grasp Transfiguration at a deeper level."

He thanked Professor McGonagall earnestly.

Professor McGonagall looked at the smart little wizard in front of her, her eyes reflecting satisfaction and relief.

"It's my responsibility to nurture talents for Hogwarts. There is no need to thank you."

Dylan smiled and took out his wand.

He had no intention of casting Avada Kedavra on Professor McGonagall but was to demonstrate his latest spell to her.

"Oh? You actually came up with a new spell?"

Professor McGonagall was slightly astonished after hearing Dylan's description, but her anticipation grew.

"It is not creation, but innovation."

Dylan took out his water glass and placed it on the table.

"Would you like some tea? Or milk?"

Professor McGonagall blinked: "Give me some tea."

Dylan nodded and cast a spell.

"Lactea repleta!"

A little pink starlight particle sparkled.

A rich milk fragrance blended with a faint tea fragrance spread out.

The wand tip was a magical fountain.

"Sizzle~"

The milk tea spurted out an arc and poured into the water glasses in front of the two.

In no time, the glasses were full.

"Please."

Dylan smiled.

"Very good magic."

Professor McGonagall nodded, then gazed at the glasses on the table.

"But you don't want me to drink it from your personal water glass, do you?"
