Me and Karlos hovered mid-air, casting long shadows over the enemy army below. I floated there, arms crossed, just observing—y'know, enjoying the silence before the storm.
Then their commander, a smug bastard with a feathered helmet and an ego to match, pointed up at us and shouted,
"Hahaha! Bermud must be desperate—they've sent a shiny blonde and a butler to fight us!"
The soldiers below erupted into laughter.
Karlos twitched.
I turned my head slightly, and immediately sensed it—the power flaring behind me like a volcano holding back its eruption.
Karlos was trembling, his expression no longer calm. His pupils glowed crimson, and veins bulged slightly across his temple. His fury was barely restrained, and his elegant features were twisted into pure, dignified wrath.
"Those bastards... Shiny blonde… They dare disrespect Lord Velsun..."
His voice was a whisper, but it was laced with absolute menace. His eyes went bloodshot as his magic flared violently.
And me? I just blinked, floating next to him.
"Uhh... Karlos, bro? Chill? It's just some name-calling..."
I waved a hand awkwardly.
"You good?"
Before he could answer, the enemy mages started chanting and launched a barrage of spells. Flaming spears, ice shards, lightning bolts—you name it.
But Karlos, despite his rage, raised a hand calmly.
A dome of shimmering black-red magic formed around us, a perfect barrier that absorbed every single attack like it was child's play.
He didn't even look at the spells. His eyes were locked on the commander, trembling with fury and mumbling,
"Unforgivable... they mocked my master... they must be purified..."
I sighed.
"This guy's loyalty is terrifying."
And then I grinned.
I was still hovering above, arms loose at my sides, watching the army beneath us scramble to regroup after their magic barrage failed so miserably. My hair ruffled slightly in the wind, and the grin forming on my face?
Yeah, it spelled trouble.
"I could just kill them all with my Draconic Haki..." I muttered, glancing down lazily.
"...but seriously, where's the fun in that?"
I lifted a single finger.
No grand chanting. No build-up. Just one simple movement, like I was pointing at a fly.
And at the tip of my finger—a miniature sun began to form. The size of a Rasengan, but dense, unstable, and pulsing with pure, condensed nuclear energy. It flickered like a heartbeat, casting a golden glow over everything. Even the air around it shimmered, warping from the sheer heat.
Karlos took a step back, instinctively shielding his eyes.
"L-Lord Velsun… are you sure that's safe to throw at this range?"
I just smirked.
"We're gonna find out."
Then, casually—like tossing a rock into a pond—I threw it.
The world turned white.
For a brief moment, everything vanished in light.
The sun detonated mid-air just above the enemy lines.
A sun that small shouldn't have created that big an explosion, right?
Wrong.
A city-sized inferno erupted, swallowing the front lines, vaporizing spells mid-flight, melting steel and armor in an instant. Screams were cut off by the soundwave—a roar of absolute destruction. The shockwave leveled trees, shook the very foundations of the kingdom behind us, and left behind a massive crater, the ground scorched black and steaming.
When the light faded, all that remained was silence.
And ashes.
Even I blinked at the damage.
"...Damn. Okay, that was hotter than I expected," I muttered, rubbing my neck.
Karlos was frozen, mouth slightly open.
Reinhart, back on the wall, had dropped to his knees in awe.
"A sun… he made a freaking sun... and just... tossed it…"
I dusted my hands and floated back a little.
"Mimir calculate How many survivors are there, and how many casualties occurred?"
"Calculating…"
Mimir's voice echoed calmly in my head, almost too serene for the chaos that had just unfolded.
"Out of the estimated 20,000 enemy soldiers… casualties are approximately 16,784. Roughly 3,200 are either severely injured or barely holding on. Less than 100 remain fully combat-capable."
"In simpler terms, Lad…"
"You just deleted an army."
Karlos, still trembling with excitement and admiration, turned to look at me like I was some divine being that just casually walked out of a myth.
"Truly… unfathomable. Lord Velsun… is beyond comprehension."
I stretched my arms with a yawn, totally unbothered.
"Well, I was aiming for a clean 20k... guess I'll need to work on the precision."
All the souls of the deceased came back to me according to the contract made by karlos.
"Karlos, please end the remaining soilders as soon as possible and capture their king and head mage. While I head back to Bermuda." I asked with a smile.
"As u wish my lord."
He said with the brightest smile which made my attack less shiny.
Then i flew back to the Bermud walls where the king Darius,Reinhart and the citizens of Bermud were wide eye and jaw dropped to ground.
I gracefully landed on the broken walls of Bermud, dust barely shifting beneath my feet, the stunned silence of the kingdom hit me like a wave. The citizens stood frozen, their mouths open wide, some still mid-cheer from before the explosion. Reinhart's sword was half-lowered, his eyes twitching in disbelief.
King Darius looked like he had seen a god descend. Which… to be fair, wasn't entirely inaccurate.
Zalario stepped forward beside me, arms crossed, expression unreadable.
"That was efficient," he said with a calm nod, as if I hadn't just dropped a miniature sun on an army.
"Thanks," I replied casually, cracking my knuckles. "I was just aiming for a bit of intimidation. Guess I overdid it."
Meanwhile, a few children watching from rooftops shouted with glee,
"Lord Velsun! "
"Lord Velsun!"
while the adults dropped to their knees in reverence or fear — or both.
Reinhart finally found his voice.
"W-we… we are eternally grateful, Lord Velsun. That was… unlike anything I've seen in my entire life."
"Ah it's nothing," I waved him off, giving my signature awkward smile. "Just a warm-up."
Reinhart looked like he was having a religious experience.
"I-I was right to bring him here…"
King Darius stood frozen, hands trembling slightly at his sides, watching Velsun casually converse with a primordial angel like it was just another afternoon.
"That power… that presence… , he's a divine being…"
The thoughts swirled through his head.
He glanced at his people, once hopeless and broken, now their eyes shimmered with awe and reverence. The children chanted his name. The soldiers who had survived were kneeling like loyal disciples. Even the nobles who once doubted everything were stunned into silence.
"If Lord Velsun were to remain here, this kingdom would not just survive—it would thrive. No enemy would ever dare set foot on Bermud's soil again. Morale would never falter, and the people… they would pray to him as a god."
He clenched his fists.
"But… what can I offer someone like him? He could destroy mountains with a flick of his hand. I have nothing to give. No treasure. No land. No authority worthy of him…"
And then, it clicked.
"What if I made him king?!"
Darius swallowed hard.
"Yes. If I step down and name him king of Bermud, he might stay. With him at the throne, this land would enter a golden age…"
He looked up at Velsun, who had his hands behind his head, stretching like he just came back from a stroll and not vaporized thousands.
"How do I even propose such a thing? Will he laugh? Will he find it beneath him? Or… maybe he'll accept… even if it's just for fun…"
Darius took a deep breath, gathering the courage of a ruler placing his entire kingdom on a single bet.
As Darius was still contemplating how to offer Bermud to me he was interrupted by another voice.
"Lord Velsun your captives are ready."
Then he threw the enemy king and their headmage into the ground.
"A total of twenty thousand souls should have been transferred to you by now."
karlos had also arrived with 2 people in his hands.

Talk about OP MC finishing an entire army with a single attack truly OP. Great thing I like OP MC.
