Chapter 7 - A ENEMY OF THE GODS

"Why not, what can possibly go wrong?" as the system said, "Activating simulation." Leo was shocked; he could not understand what was happening, as he saw that in three and a half years' time, what he worked so hard to achieve would be destroyed by the force, and he would be forced to rebuild everything. As he looked closely at the extraterrestrial forces, he saw that they were beings that looked like a human, but had horns, and they had lines from their eyelid to their jaw. He saw that they were male and female.

As he moved through the decimated landscape, he saw five demons that were kneeling to a demon that looked like their king, as he could tell those five demons looked like generals—as they had something distinguishing them. He was absolutely shocked. The demon king stretched his hand and pointed his finger to him, as he said, "Be ready: I am coming for you and the Lord have mercy upon you all," as he told him to depart.

Leo was forced out of the simulation, as chills ran down his spine. As he was sitting on the floor, he thought, "I won't stand a chance if I sit here and mope like a baby."

"System, what can I do to prevent this outcome?" The system didn't answer him. "Hello? Leo, what can I do to change this tragic fate?" The system still was silent. As he said, "You useless and dumb system, now I ask you a question that can change my life, and now you're silent—what the fuck is wrong with you?" The system still didn't answer him. Leo said, "I hate you, I really do. Well, since the system is hopeless, what can I do to change this fate? Hmmm, system, rewind to the beginning of the destruction."

As he saw the replay, the first thing he noticed was that the soldiers of the middle and noble sects were completely outmatched by the demons, as he thought. "The first thing here I need to alter is either to form a truce with the two sects or to control them by force; but if I control them by force, it will make me the bad guy, wouldn't it?"

"System, continue the replay." As he noticed next that Acheron couldn't withstand the battle, as it was breaking apart—so, if we're going to fight them, I need to create a separate dimension for equal footing. As he continued the replay, he now saw that his robots could go head to head with the demons, but the demons could regenerate and they outmatched his robots in long battles; and lastly, when his robot faced off against the generals, he saw that they were completely outmatched. Finally, something he overlooked was that he himself was killed by the demon king, as he was lifted up before his chest was impaled by the demon king.

Leo was so shocked that he couldn't accept it. "After what I've endured so far, I will be killed. No, I refuse to accept it. No, I won't be killed by a pesky extraterrestrial asshole. No, I need to change the fate!" The system now loaded a message saying that the way to change your fate... "You useless system, you didn't answer me—now you're answering me; if you were real, I would have given you a good beating. Now, anyways, it's time to improve myself and change this fate."

As the scene shifts to the gods' realm, the gods were having a discussion. As Zeus started, "I called you here to discuss an important matter of reasoning."

Leonidas said, "Wow, the god of women is actually serious. Who are you afraid of to make you be that serious? You don't know the threat that the gods faced in the past."

"What threat?" Leonidas said.

Zeus said, "You were born recently, so you wouldn't understand."

The god of reincarnation said to them, "You guys are acting like man babies; quiet down and allow us to know why we are called here—I don't have time for your jitters."

"Hmmm, fine," Zeus said. "The important matter I called you here to discuss is this: the seal of Denzan is weakening, and I feel it will be broken anytime soon. Any ideas on what we should do to stop Denzan from remerging?"

"Hmmm," Chromos said, "let's just simply kill him—it's that simple."

"No," Zeus said, "we gods are immortal; we can't die, except he is killed by an opposition force. But where can we find a person strong enough for that?"

"As you all know, Vultra gave us a run for our money last time—we hardly escaped."

"But Chromos," said another, "Denzan is a lot weaker than Vultra, right?"

"Well, you may be right on that—Denzan is a lot weaker than Vultra. What if we manipulate Vultra to kill him?"

"Emmm," Helios said, "Vultra's mind is full of vengeance, and his mind alone is a fortress; we won't stand a chance of manipulating him, so that's out of the question."

Buddha said, "What if we give half of our power to a host that has the mindset to wield it?"

"Hmmm," Ra said, "that is actually not a bad idea, but the problem now is, where can we get that host?"

"Well," the god of technology said, "I might have an idea."

As the scene shifts to Leo, who is currently on top of a mountain, he was fusing different materials and running different scenarios on how to improve his robots. As he fused a combat robot and a tactical robot, he discovered that it significantly advanced its combat power, and it also allowed the robots to multitask, as he said, "Now I have a robot who can fight in the war while also commanding other robots on how to fight."

As he fused a combat robot with three more combat robots, it brought forth a robot with a star on the chest, as he thought, "This is just like a game of Candy Crush; if so, time to experiment."

"War—as I want to create five of the most elite and advanced robots, which I will call high generals," he continued, "candy crushing, fusing." He finally, after six months, discovered the most elite warrior that can combat the demons, as he said, "If I add a health robot to a lab robot and fuse them to a combat robot and stealth robots, I will have the perfect assassin that can regenerate at high speed and also knows where to target the enemy's vital points, and what's good is, I have many more to go."

As he personally called all the robots to the forbidden zone, as he teleported there, he announced what he saw to the robots and the perfect strategy to counter the demonic forces. As he proposed the strategy, the robots agreed, as it was a way to improve it. As Leonard said, "Now hear me, god of technology: I plan to fight the demonic forces and protect my home. Grant me the strength to do so," as he felt power overflowing. He said, "It's time," as he released the powers.

All the robots were shut down, so for a while the forbidden zone defenses and barrier were down. As he activated reconstruction, he used other elements and resources as he fused them; then he fused the robots; then he fused the product and the robot, creating the perfect robots. As he did this, it took him a month for the robots to be fused. As for the final touch, he added growth potential to the robots, as he concluded his reconstruction, tweaked the robots' OS so that every decision made could be felt. As he turned on the robots, he fainted, as the highest-tier general commander caught Leo from falling, as he said, "Rest easy, master; we will make sure that the threat will be nullified."

As the scene shifts to the gods' realm, as the tech god said, "The host I have in mind that broke all limits and transported a wasteland to a highly advanced world—that boy is more than enough to take half of our powers."

As Buddha said, "What is the name of that boy?"

The god of tech said, "His name is Leonard."
