Chapter 25: The Blaze of the Burning Dimension
Scene One: Into the Silent Fire
When Ryan stepped through the portal into the new dimension, there was no flame. No heat.
Only absolute silence.
The ground was black as coal, the sky thick with gray clouds, and the air carried ash that fell like snow. All around him—burnt ruins, dead trees, and crumbling walls with the charred handprints of people long gone.
Ryan muttered as he walked:
"Looks like I stepped into one of hell's seasons… but they forgot to turn on the heat."
His voice echoed in strange ways, duplicating and then suddenly cutting off.
A small sign etched into a stone caught his eye:
"In this dimension, every lie burns… and every truth is born from ash."
Ryan paused. Something moved beneath his feet…
The ground was pulsing.
And then—everything caught fire.

Scene Two: The Charred Guardian
From the flames emerged a towering figure—its body aglow like smoldering coal, its eyes deep pits of searing blue fire.
It spoke with a voice like burning wood:
"Who are you… and what is your truth?"
Ryan replied cautiously:
"My name's Ryan… the truth? Give me a minute. I might've left it in another dimension."
The figure remained unmoved.
"You shall not pass… unless you let the fire reveal what you hide."
It pointed toward a colossal gate behind it—one made of motionless flame, burning silently.
Ryan stepped closer, but voices rose from within the fire:
His childhood.
His mother's sobs.
A teacher's scolding.
A friend's angry shout:
"You let us down!"
He froze.
The guardian said:
"The fire burns only what you conceal. Enter—if you dare."
Ryan closed his eyes, drew a deep breath… and dove into the flames.

Scene Three: The Charred Room
He awoke in a gray room. Everything had been partially scorched, yet somehow… still felt alive.
He walked toward a blackened mirror on the wall.
But it didn't reflect him.
It showed another version of himself—dressed entirely in black, one wide eye staring back.
The version said:
"I'm you… if you gave up in the second dimension."
Ryan smirked:
"Fantastic. Facing my own failed copy. Want a hug? I can tell you everything's going to be okay."
But the darker version replied:
"No. I'm you—if you had been honest with yourself from the start. I'm not the failure here."
Ryan pulled his sword—
But it vanished from his hand.
The shadow said:
"No blades here. Only truth… or ash."
It stepped forward, whispering every lie Ryan had told himself on his journey.
He dropped to his knees. But instead of weeping—he laughed.
Standing up, he said:
"You know what? I admire your persuasion skills… but you forgot one thing."
"What's that?"
"I don't hate my lies… I fight despite them."
At that moment, the shadow vanished.
The world around him dissolved.

Scene Four: The Stranger's Call
Light returned.
Ryan now stood in a gray field, where a man sat calmly on a small wooden chair.
He wore a straw hat and sipped from a steaming cup that never cooled.
Without turning, the man said:
"I've been watching you from the beginning."
Ryan stepped closer.
"Are you… the one controlling all of this?"
The man shook his head.
"No. I'm merely the painter of the Burning Dimension. I created this world… to see who could survive their own inner fire."
Ryan sat beside him.
"And did I survive?"
"You? No… But you burned beautifully."
He pointed toward the edge of the field, where a transparent portal appeared.
Inside it—an unfinished map.
"The next gate isn't a dimension… it's something else entirely."
Ryan turned to him.
"What is it?"
The man smiled with quiet mystery:
"The Dimension of Others."

End of Chapter (Cliffhanger)
Just before stepping through the new portal, Ryan heard—for the first time—a woman's voice.
It came not from outside, but from within him.
From the depth of his soul.
"Ryan… they're coming."
He turned sharply—but no one was there.
Without hesitation, he walked into the portal…
Leaving only ash behind.
