WS VILLA
"Good morning, hubby," Skylar mumbled, hugging Warren from behind. He was shirtless, wearing only a pair of plain grey joggers, while she wore nothing but his oversized red shirt that barely reached her thighs, showing off the constellation of hickeys Warren had gifted her.
Warren turned around and cupped her cheeks in his large hands while she still clung tightly to his waist.
"Morning, doll. Slept well?"
"Hmm, until you left."
"Had to make breakfast, baby. How're you feeling?"
"A little sore," Skylar pouted.
Warren leaned down and kissed her pout away instantly.
"I'm sorry—"
"No, it was worth it," Skylar cut in with a mischievous grin.
"Alright, sit here while I finish making breaky," Warren said, lifting her onto the counter before returning to the stove.
"Hubby," she called out sweetly, making Warren's heart do a backflip.
Does she remember? he wondered, but answered anyway.
"Hmm?"
"Morning kissy," she demanded, her eyes gleaming with playful mischief. A wide smile spread across Warren's face before he closed the distance and kissed her softly, slowly, only pulling back when she ran out of breath.
"I love you, mon amour," Warren whispered.
"I love you too, hubby," she smiled.

The meal was ready soon after, and they sat eating together, Skylar perched comfortably on Warren's lap. Suddenly, Warren's phone rang—it was the guards at the gate.
"After a body check, let her in," Warren instructed before ending the call.
A few minutes later, the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it," Skylar said, hopping off his lap and rushing to the door.
She opened it to find a young woman standing there with a too-bright smile Skylar immediately pegged as fake.
"Who are you?"
"I'm the new maid, reporting for duty," the woman said sweetly.
Skylar stared at her, unimpressed and silent. She was about to speak again when Warren appeared, still bare-chested.
"Doll, she's—" he began.
Skylar quickly threw herself into his arms, covering his chest with her small body and slammed the door shut in the woman's face.
"Why did you come out like that?" she demanded, hands on her hips.
"I was just trying to—"
"I don't wanna know anymore. Go upstairs and get ready for work. Now," Skylar ordered, pointing toward the stairs.
Warren chuckled and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
"Come soon."
"Okay," she whispered, watching him walk away.
Once he was gone, she reopened the door. The woman was still standing there, her expression now somewhere between confused and annoyed. Skylar didn't care.
"What's your name?"
"Gina, ma'am."
"Don't call me that. You're clearly older. Just call me Skylar. You can start with cleaning—but don't go into the room on the left. It's off-limits, got it?"
"Yes," Gina replied with a strange look.
"Alright then," Skylar said, turning and walking up the stairs to join Warren.

SCORPIONS
"How could you let him get the damn disk?!" Don Lucas yelled, glaring at Razor, who knelt before him in the barely lit meeting hall. They were alone.
"Answer me, you dumbass! You couldn't complete a simple task!" he roared, gripping a glass of red wine tightly.
"It wasn't my fault. And if I'm dumb, then you're dumber—'cause you couldn't even face Don Leo," Razor snapped back, standing to his feet and heading for the door.
"I guess you want your little slut to suffer, right?" Don Lucas threatened.
Razor spun around sharply. "Don't you fucking dare."
"Then you better keep being my puppet," Don Lucas smirked sinisterly.

ZWATERS RESORT
"Are you done packing?" Alice asked.
Raymond nodded.
"Everything?"
"Hmm." He nodded again, nuzzling into her neck.
Alice giggled softly, running her fingers through his hair. Ever since she mentioned they had to return, Raymond had turned clingy, insisting he wouldn't get enough time with her. Now he was wrapped around her like a second skin while she dialed Skylar.
••••••••••••••••••••
"Morning, Sky."
"Morning, Alice."
"You sound sweet. Something new?" Alice teased, raising a brow even though Skylar couldn't see her.
"We... we did the stuff. We're together now," Skylar muttered shyly.
"Really?!" Alice squealed, barely keeping still thanks to Raymond's grip.
"Yeah, why'd you call?" Skylar asked, standing by the coffee machine.
"I've got top news."
"What news?"
"Donny's dead," Alice said, stroking Raymond's hair.
"So...?"
"Lucifer did it."
"Why do you say that?"
"Straight headshot. Bloody eagle tattoo. And of course—you."
"Me?" Skylar asked, confused, switching on the machine.
"Warren said she'd die. And he's Lucifer, so..."
"How do you know that?! You can't tell anyone. It's top secret!" Skylar whisper-yelled.
"You and Raymond know, so of course I'd know. Don't worry, Sky—I'd never breathe a word."
"Alright... we have a lot to talk about."
"I know. I've got stuff too."
"Tomorrow at my villa?"
"Sure."
"Boss lady, Linda just went into the boss's office," Sonia reported.
"Gotta go, Alice."
"Yeah—go teach that bitch a lesson!" Alice cheered before hanging up.
Skylar and Warren had arrived at the company earlier. Wanting to ease Warren's stress, she made him coffee and told Sonia to keep an eye on Linda—knowing exactly what kind of snake she was.
"Lead the way," Skylar said, picking up the mug.

CEO'S OFFICE
"Leave, Linda. That would be wise," Warren said, sitting relaxed in his chair. He could sense the storm coming—and he didn't care.
"Don't you find me sexy, Warren? Why can't you love me?" Linda asked, ignoring his warning.
Warren sighed in pity. He was dressed sharply in a sky-blue silk suit, exuding heat and authority.
"No. I don't find you sexy."
"Why?! What does she have that I don't?! Can she even satisfy you in bed?!" Linda shouted.
That's when Skylar walked in.
"Of course I can. I'm the only one who can take his huge dick without passing out. You know he hits 11 inches for me," Skylar smirked, placing the coffee on his desk.
"Coffee, hubby."
"Thanks, baby."
"You're welcome, hubby," Skylar said sweetly, then turned back to Linda—her smile gone.
"Come on. I need to teach you a tiny little lesson on why you shouldn't mess with my man," she said, grabbing Linda's ponytail and dragging her toward the door. Linda struggled, but couldn't break Skylar's grip.
Just as Skylar reached for the door, Warren spoke.
"Baby."
"Hmm?"
"Don't kill her yet, okay?"
"Of course I won't," Skylar smiled wickedly.
"Carry on," Warren commanded.
And Skylar happily obeyed.
At that moment, Linda realized—if Skylar was crazy, then Warren was a whole different kind of monster.
