In an extraordinary chat group.
Kiana: "Ah, I don't want to see Sougo and Gates become enemies!"
Fu Nina: "Yes, I agree. It seemed like they were friends, but now things have taken a strange turn. It makes me a bit uncomfortable!"
March Seven: "Ugh, I feel the same way. Sougo and Gates, please stop fighting already!"
Bai Lu: "Hehe, me too!"
Tsukuyomi watched in confusion as Gates appeared to be aligning with Kadoya.
She was puzzled and muttered, "Gates... he's on the side of the Time Robber?"
Gates spoke indifferently, "If you can defeat Zi-O, it wouldn't be a bad idea to use the power of the enemy."
Sougo, however, interjected, "Stop it. I just want to help you!"
"I don't need your help!" Kadoya retorted as the two continued their clash.
As the fight raged on, Kadoya smirked and said, "You seem a bit shaken."
"Shaken?" Sougo was slightly confused.
Kadoya continued, "Your true companion isn't the guy named Gates. Your real companion is your subordinate!"
Sougo scoffed. "That kind of guy isn't my subordinate!"
At this moment, Woz slowly descended the stairs, his voice echoing through the room. "You should see yourself clearly, Sougo. You'll never let go of any obstacles in your path to dominance. This is the Demon King I know."
Sougo raised his voice, "No! I will never get rid of Gates and the others. I'll never let the world descend into chaos!"
"Really?" Kadoya smirked. "Then let's go and see your future self!"
Suddenly, a vortex appeared before them. Without warning, Sougo was drawn into it.
Just before the vortex closed, Tsukuyomi followed him in.
The audience, watching from afar, gasped in surprise.
"Wow, Kadoya is so strong! Can he really send Sougo directly into the future without using a magic machine? That's incredible!"
"Wait, does Sougo really want to meet his future self?"
"This is so exciting. What will it be like when Sougo meets Oma Zi-O, his future self?"
The scene shifted.
Sougo found himself lying on the ground. Slowly, he opened his eyes.
After standing up, he saw a large statue in front of him.
He stared at it, shocked. "Isn't this... me?"
Written on the statue was: "Tokiwa Sougo, the first transformation statue."
Sougo blinked in disbelief. "Where am I?" he wondered aloud.
Tsukuyomi, who had approached him, explained softly, "This is 2068, 50 years after your time. This is... the world where you've become the Demon King."
Sougo's eyes widened in surprise. "Huh? I really became the Demon King?"
Tsukuyomi nodded, her expression somber.
Sougo, still in shock, began walking away. Tsukuyomi called out, "Where are you going?"
"I want to see what this era has become," Sougo replied, his voice determined.
The camera shifted.
In a darkened room, a figure sat behind a screen. He spoke slowly, "When I was young, don't you want to meet me?"
The audience, who had been watching closely, was on edge.
"Is this what Sougo will look like 50 years from now?" one person speculated.
"Yes, I can't wait to see their meeting!"
---
Sougo and Tsukuyomi continued walking, their eyes scanning the environment around them.
Eventually, they came across some ordinary people. Nearby, a few people were receiving aid.
Sougo noticed how haggard everyone looked. They were dressed simply, their faces dirty.
He couldn't help but feel a deep sense of sadness as he saw how difficult life had become for these people.
"Is this the result of Oma Zi-O's reign?" Sougo asked, his voice laced with worry.
Tsukuyomi sighed as she looked at the people. "They're lucky to be alive."
She gestured to the people around them. "The world's population is only about half of what it was during your time."
"Half?" Sougo was stunned.
"Has half of the world's population died?" he wondered aloud. "Is Oma Zi-O really that bad?"
Before Tsukuyomi could answer, the environment around them suddenly shifted.
A screen appeared in front of them, and a figure emerged from behind it.
Sougo frowned and asked, "Who's there?"
The mysterious man's voice was calm as he spoke softly, "Let's talk about the dream you had."
Sougo was taken aback. "Dream?"
That dream was a secret known only to a few people close to him. No one else should have known about it.
The mysterious figure continued, his voice growing more serious, "It's the dream I had when I was a child."
The dream... was it the same one he had? Sougo listened intently as the figure spoke of destruction.
"The world was destroyed by alien machines," the man continued. "Everyone died one after another. I could only watch helplessly."
Sougo's chest tightened as he listened. His heart was pounding, and he could feel his breath quicken. What the mysterious man was describing sounded exactly like the dream Sougo had experienced!
The man continued, "At that time, a man appeared."
As the mysterious figure spoke, Sougo's face became more and more distressed. His heart raced in his chest.
"This is... the same as my dream!" Sougo gasped. "So... who are you?"
The screen slowly rose, revealing the figure's full form. He was armored, and his true face remained hidden behind a mask.
Sougo's voice quivered with disbelief as he asked, "You're me?"
The masked man chuckled lightly. "Young me, why are you so surprised?"
Sougo's mind raced. "Then, I became Oma Zi-O?" he asked, his voice filled with disbelief.
The masked man's tone was quiet but firm. "At this point, you still don't believe it?"
Sougo shook his head violently. "No! No, it's impossible! I can't become Oma Zi-O! That's... that's not who I am!"
The man in the armor spoke again, his voice calm but firm. "This is true. I just dreamt of becoming the king, saving the world... and your future self."
Sougo was visibly shaken. He denied it once more. "I won't do that. I want to be the kind, benevolent Demon King. The one who saves the world, not destroys it!"
The masked figure nodded slowly. "That's right, I am the most benevolent and kind Demon King."
Sougo's mind was in turmoil. His vision of himself, of what he stood for, was collapsing in front of him. He had always dreamed of being a ruler who saved the world, but the man in front of him... he had become the very thing he feared. The Demon King he never wanted to become.
"Is this really who I'll become?" Sougo thought, his heart heavy with doubt and fear. Could he really avoid this fate? Could he really save the world without becoming a tyrant?
