[Important Notes]:
1. The success rate of analysis is related to the difficulty of the ninjutsu—the higher the difficulty, the lower the success rate.
2. Since this function analyzes the residual chakra of a ninjutsu left on the body, please ensure to use it before the chakra dissipates.
3. The duration of residual chakra varies depending on the ninjutsu.
4. Analyzing high-concentration chakra can improve the success rate to some extent.
5. The host's strength and the proficiency level of the [Analysis Lab] will affect the success rate of decryption.
6. Analyzing a ninjutsu consumes an indefinite amount of chakra. The higher the difficulty of the ninjutsu, the more chakra is consumed.
7. Bloodline Limits and secret techniques can be analyzed, but the host cannot use them. Their decryption difficulty level is increased by +1.

Midorima patiently read through all the [Important Notes], gaining a clearer understanding of the [Analysis Lab].
When he was hit by a ninjutsu, residual chakra from that technique would linger on his body.
However, the duration varied—some lasted longer, such as sealing jutsu, while others dissipated quickly, like most non-persistent attack techniques.
This function analyzed the residual chakra of the ninjutsu.
If fully decrypted, he would be able to use that technique.
For ninjutsu that remained in the body for a long time, the [Analysis Lab] could attempt decryption multiple times. Strictly speaking, as long as the chakra persisted long enough, it would eventually be cracked.
But for techniques with short residual durations, there might only be one chance to decrypt them.
As for the chakra consumption during decryption, to put it plainly, Midorima had to supply a certain amount of chakra as energy to power the [Analysis Lab].
However, since the [Analysis Lab] had limited functional capacity, it could only decrypt five techniques simultaneously. Therefore, Midorima couldn't decrypt too many ninjutsu at once.
Next, he checked the level of the [Analysis Lab] and scratched his head.
The [Analysis Lab] was currently at Level 1, meaning it could only decrypt ninjutsu up to B-rank. For A-rank and S-rank techniques, he would need to improve both his own strength and the lab's proficiency before attempting them.
Though slightly disappointed, the loss wasn't as severe as he had imagined. After all, even if he mastered some S-rank techniques, he might not have enough chakra to use them effectively.
As for not being able to use [Bloodline Limits], well, it was a shame, but what could he do? He simply didn't have the bloodline for it.
Currently, the [Analysis Lab] had already successfully decrypted one ninjutsu—"Exploding Water Collision Wave".
This was a B-rank technique. In 'Naruto', Kisame Hoshigaki had used it against the Raikage. Its effect was to spew enough water onto the ground to create a small lake.
On one hand, it could be used to attack enemies with a powerful wave. On the other, it could alter the battlefield environment.
This was the last technique Akizuki had used before his death. However, due to his severely depleted chakra, the jutsu hadn't unleashed its full potential.
This was also one of the technique's weaknesses—it demanded an enormous amount of chakra.
Additionally, since it was a large-scale ninjutsu, practicing it required caution to avoid causing unnecessary disturbances.
Despite these limitations, the [Analysis Lab] had successfully decrypted it.
Though the technique had its restrictions and required precise timing for optimal use, Midorima was still thrilled to add it to his arsenal, especially since he was severely lacking in ninjutsu options.
At present, the [Analysis Lab] could only decrypt C-rank and B-rank techniques, with success rates of 30% and 10%, respectively.
In other words, successfully decrypting an unknown ninjutsu was still quite challenging.
Considering how much trouble it saved him in searching for scrolls, Midorima gave the [Analysis Lab] a big thumbs-up.
From now on, all he needed to do was engage in as many battles as possible, and his repertoire of techniques would steadily grow.
The [Analysis Lab] was the biggest gain from this mission, but not the only one. The proficiency levels of other functional areas had also increased to varying degrees:
- [Catalysis Chamber]: 65%
- [Activation]: 70%
- [Conversion Chamber]: 55%
Looking at the rising numbers across the board, Midorima's joy was indescribable.
This mission had been a huge win.
Especially the [Conversion Chamber], which had gained a full 15% proficiency.
If he had two or three more experiences like this, it might reach 100%. At that point, he'd be able to use any ninjutsu without chakra loss—just like the Third Hokage.
Overflowing with satisfaction, Midorima lay on the floor, practicing the hand seals for "Exploding Water Collision Wave."
In life-or-death battles, the speed of hand seals could determine victory or defeat. This was one of his next major training goals.
He kept practicing until nightfall, finally mastering the seals with near-perfect fluidity. Only then did he eat a quick meal and rest contentedly.

The next morning, Midorima arrived early at the Medical Division and greeted .
Shusaku, who was checking on patients, immediately handed over his duties to other medics, took off his white coat, and left the Medical Division with Midorima.
"Captain, I could have gone to see the Mizukage alone," Midorima said, surprised that Shusaku was accompanying him.
"You think I have nothing better to do?" Shusaku shot him an annoyed look before sighing. "Midorima, I've already submitted your proposal to the Mizukage. But you know this isn't a simple issue. The Medical Division is already understaffed—even if I agreed, assigning a medic to every squad isn't realistic. Secondly, whether other departments in Kirigakure will accept this model is still a big question."
"So… what was the Mizukage's decision?" Midorima asked nervously.
"Well, there should've been a result by now, but it's been delayed," Shusaku shrugged.
"Why?" Midorima frowned.
"Akizuki… no, I mean, Igawa Tai is dead. His father—the deputy commander of the Anbu—has been handling the funeral arrangements. Once Igawa Tai's body is buried this afternoon, we should get an answer." Shusaku patted Midorima's shoulder, signaling him to brace himself.
Midorima forced a smile. "Some things just can't be forced. Besides, what if Igawa Bu agrees?"
"Hah, true. Just like… who would've thought you and Mei Terumī would survive while the strongest, Igawa Tai, died? Life's unpredictable." Shusaku said casually. "As long as you're alive, there are endless possibilities, right?"
Midorima pressed his lips together, not responding.
If Igawa Bu heard Shusaku's words, he'd probably throw a few kunai at him to demonstrate just how "unpredictable" life could be.
'Sigh… Captain Shusaku, you really know how to provoke people.'
