Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

As I look down at the cold steel floor hanging about twenty five stories high in these anti-gravity bubble like shackles as I'm held in place in a vat of white and blue liquid it's dulling my senses but not fully. I faintly heard the keys to my cell open up as the light shut on I looked to see my captor. "You're awake, excellent. Doctor Chen, Hypnis. Can you give me an estimate on when it's powers will emerge and it's possiblity for control?" "Well Mr. Lycan the problem is he possess a strong will and he's a lot harder to mind control or probe." Doctor Chen answered.

"Good news is, that his powers are emerging but an issue is that they are inconsistent." "What do you mean by inconsistent Hypnis?" "Well Mr. Lycan he's exhibiting powers not like the other test subjects. Most of the subjects project 1 to 2 powers or has to do with their lineage but with this one he's a mystery he's shown signs of having powers that shouldn't be able to manifest in a normal human his body shouldn't be able to handle the power he emits he also released this ominous aura that will engulf our very being if given the opportunity." "So it's our most powerful tool. Very good I want it to team with Subject -1 and Subject 8 in the next training exercise and bring it some food and water in the next hour. Training sims begins after."

As Mr. Lycan used his invisible disks to walk up to my containment he smiled and cupped my face aggressively. "Don't disappoint me. Work well with these next two and you three will be able to leave this place on missions the hardest thing about you three in particular is finding people who can actually work well with you three and not pissing you off at every minor disagreement. Good luck in the next hour." Mr. Lycan and Doctors Chen and Hypnis left me alone as the lights shut back off. (I've been here for God knows how long I'm tired. I promise you Mr. Lycan you won't just be missing an arm.) An hour passed as I faintly heard the jingle of the keys and the lights flickered on as a guard and two armored guards escorted him inside.

I could just barely make out the lever they pulled down to lower my containment unit. "Guns at the ready, releasing anti-gravity bubble cuffs now." My arms flailed to my either side as they drained the liquid out my containment unit causing me to fall to the floor. "Quickly put the collar around its' neck." (Now's my chance!) I smiled gleefully under my long white hair and quickly jumped up in the air and fired two dark matter projectiles from my mouth and kicked the guard with the trey of food in the face as I landed on the other side of him grabbing his keys.

The dark matter projectiles pierced their armor causing them to fly back I quickly grabbed one of them by their helmet and bashed his head into the floor. I looked over at the other heavily armored guard and sucked my teeth disappointingly. "Carl. I'm going to offer you choice I picked up his colleague. "You can choose either him or you. Now, who lives? Who dies?" Carl backed away slowly as he stammered. "Speak up Carl or else you both will die." "I-I choose me." I looked at him and sighed. "Carl, you were my favorite but unfortunately when it came to this decision you made the wrong one.

"No, please I can take it back right!? RIGHT?!" Carl urinated on himself as I inched closer to him. "Hush now, Carl it'll be quick and painless I promise. Now close your eyes." Carl still trembling in fear managed to squeak out a soft and wimperig "Pause." He closed his eyes as I knelt down in front of him and touched his forehead. "May the stars guide you to peace." His very essence and soul began to leave his body. As his actual body began to break down into stardust and give me strength and revitalize my spirit. I tossed the other one to the ground and opened a dimensional portal.

"Carl spared your life for that you should be grateful to him but also you should damn him for you are now my first Dimensional stardustsoldier to protect and serve those I deem ally and kill those I deem enemy. "Stardust of man, take over this vessel and have him become the first Stardust-soldier of legend." I crushed a dark portion of dark matter in my hands and opened my hand again and it was stardust as I blew it onto his body and I kicked him into the dimensional portal. "May the Stars guide your soul to vanity."

I looked over at the guard crawling to reach his radio I manifested a Dark Matter blade and held it to his neck. "Tell me where is Subject 8 and Subject -1" "GO TO HELL YOU DAMN HOMOELITE!" I sighed regretfully. "Please don't make this hard for yourself and is that the term you call us those with powers? Homo-Elites. Fitting." The guard tried to reach for his gun when I quickly stabbed him in the shoulder he yelled out in pain. "I'm going to ask one more time nicely. Where are they located?" The guard used what strength he had mustered to spit blood onto my face. "How uncivilized; it's humans like you that are barbarians, sigafints, ingrates, and maggots." I offered you a olive branch twice and twice over you snap the olive branch such barbarism . I should kill you here and now but my heart tells me you're not worth it I however have other plans for you."

"Ring around the Rosie pocket full of posies. Ashes, ashes, we all fall down." He cried out as he watched his body wither away and felt his very existence leaving him. "Do you feel that? The feeling of helplessness and despair as your very existence and memories both yours and your loved ones slipping away. You have until finish the next part of the rhyme to tell me what I want or you will cease." "They- They're on Sublevel 45!"

I stood up and began to walk away. "Wait, wait aren't you going to stop this?" "The dead awaken and these ghosts I can't escape for I am what I once was which is Ashes." A dimensional portal opened up and the Dimensional Stardust-Soldier jumped out the portal and began to eat the guard as he screamed and cried out for his mother and begging for death. "May the stardust left behind give you purpose." I stroked my beard as I walked out of my cell.
