She surrendered herself?
No.
She infiltrated.
That 'other self' whispered from within. Not theory. Fact. Ji-hoon could feel her now—just barely. A thread in the dark.
"Help us infiltrate the facility," Prosecutor Kim said. "Help us shut it down."
He asked for guarantees. Immunity. Protection. Recognition.
"I believe it's not a disease. Not a weapon," she said. "But evolution. That deserves protection."
A rare ally.
Ji-hoon closed his eyes. Reached inward.
"What do you think?" he asked the 'other.'
Silence. Then— She's telling the truth. As much as she knows. But Su-yeon isn't a victim.
She's executing a plan.
"She wants convergence," the third presence said. "Liberation."
He asked aloud, "Liberation of what?"
From separation. From singularity.
All of us.
He agreed to help. They moved him to a secured center.
That night—he reached out again.
This time, not Min-ho. Su-yeon.
Her signal came faint but real. A reply: "What should have been done long ago."
"Wait for us," he whispered. But she wouldn't.
Her third consciousness surged forward, Too fast. Too willing.
Completion. Not caution.
Ji-hoon woke with a start. Mirrors in his dreams. Shadows watching.
"We will be known."
