Chapter 67 - Chapter 14: The Third War of Gods Begins

After countless preparations, the fated day had arrived—the war was about to begin. Across the multiverse, armies gathered, ready to fight for their existence. The battlefield, a colossal void between dimensions, trembled with the presence of gods, immortals, demons, and celestial beings.

But before the war could begin, time suddenly stopped.

L, standing still while all else was frozen, vanished in an instant, reappearing in the Dark Void.

Dark sat on his throne of shadows, sensing L's presence before he even appeared. With a wicked grin, he welcomed L, calling him "brother."

L, unfazed, acknowledged him with a small smile. "Looks like you've been completely corrupted."

Dark chuckled. "You think so? Then this corruption will consume you too."

L laughed softly. "What a joke."

Dark smirked, enjoying the exchange. "Your army is looking strong," he admitted.

L crossed his arms. "And you think yours is stronger?"

Dark's grin widened. "Yes. But not like your 'weak' army will be a challenge."

L's golden eyes gleamed with divine power. "Weak? When the war begins, we'll see whose army is weak."

Dark sighed mockingly. "Just don't hold back, brother."

L's expression darkened slightly. "Do not kill anyone."

Dark let out a deep, eerie laugh. "Why should I hold back?"

L's voice was firm. "Because I do not wish to break the law of nature by reviving countless dead ones."

Dark's eyes narrowed. "So, you think you're stronger than me?"

L shook his head. "I agree, you have power. But you have limitations."

Dark leaned forward, intrigued. "And what limitations do you speak of?"

L smirked. "Neither of us will interfere in the battle. You will not fight, and neither will I."

Dark's eyes gleamed with malice, but then he nodded. "Very well. I accept."

With that, L disappeared, returning to the battlefield. Time resumed.

The Gathering of Armies

Necrosma turned to Dark. "What happened?"

Dark grinned. "Nothing. Just a small chat. Now, it's time for war."

With a wave of his hand, a powerful dark commander emerged from the shadows, created to lead his army.

"Move to the battlefield," Dark ordered. The massive army of darkness roared, marching forward.

On the other side, L appeared before his allies.

Lisa, Gray, and the others immediately approached him. "Where did you go?"

L simply smiled. "Just to have a talk with Dark."

Before anyone could ask more, the Ten Gods arrived.

Their divine presence filled the air as they raised their hands, teleporting the entire army to the battlefield.

From across the multiverse, more warriors arrived—Crycelia, the Prince of Auxilian, Archon, and their legions.

Then, the skies trembled as the Gates of Heaven opened.

The Goddess of Life, Xylia, stepped forth, leading the angelic army. Behind them, a familiar figure emerged—

Goddrex, the official God of Knowledge, leading the Immortal army.

Gasps of shock and joy filled the air as the remaining Immortals saw their long-lost families return from the afterlife.

Gray, Lisa, Lyra, Misty, Brock, Bolt, and Flair rushed forward, embracing their parents and siblings.

Tears of joy streamed down their faces.

Even L and Lily saw their parents.

For the first time, L felt emotions he had long hidden.

With tears in his eyes, he embraced his parents.

The entire battlefield fell silent as Godrex watched L, smiling.

"Finally, the future I saw has come true. The True God has returned to lead us."

The Battlefield

A cold wind swept across the vast battlefield.

Then, from the depths of darkness, the Dark Army arrived.

At the front stood Necrosma, Hyperior, the Demon King, and the Ice Queen.

The Immortals were stunned. "Impossible… They were dead!"

Necrosma smirked. "Yes, we were. But we were revived… by the God of Darkness."

He turned his gaze toward Archon, his eyes burning with hatred. "You left me to die. Today, I will kill you."

Archon stepped forward, unfazed. "Try it."

The ground trembled as both sides prepared for battle.

The Third War of Gods was about to begin.
