Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: Stop Diarrhea

The night was dark, covered by clouds.

Along the way, roars of wild beasts could be heard from time to time, and fierce birds could be seen soaring in the mountains, cutting a sharp figure in the darkness.

Chu Feng looked up, sensing the agitation of these animals. He believed that some of them might have undergone mutations, but they were still lying low for now.

What would happen in the future? No one could say for sure, but he had already prepared himself mentally and wasn't afraid of any potential crises.

Over a hundred miles of road, with many large mountains along the way, would give an ordinary person walking alone a sense of oppressive fear.

But Chu Feng wasn't scared. Calm and composed, he walked through the woods at great speed.

After a while, the clouds parted, and soft light fell from the sky, dispelling the darkness. The ferocious beasts calmed down, making it feel less oppressive.

Stars dotted the sky like pearls, shining brightly and embedded in the celestial curtain.

"It's been such a long time, the yellow ox shouldn't be able to smell it anymore, right?" As Chu Feng approached Qingyang Town, he was almost home.

He decided to bribe the yellow ox!

"Boss, give me one hundred and fifty skewers of beef!" Entering the town, Chu Feng saw the skewer stand at once and strode over.

"We don't have beef, only lamb skewers!" The young man looked at him strangely. He had never sold beef skewers; this guy must be messing around.

"I meant lamb skewers, one hundred and fifty," Chu Feng said guiltily as he glanced towards the east of the town where his home was located.

"No money needed, just food!" The skewer seller firmly insisted.

Because anomalies had appeared everywhere, roads were blocked, and people valued practical goods more, looking unfavorably on currency.

"Although we're not very familiar, we know each other. Just grill them first, I'll bring the payment tomorrow," Chu Feng suggested.

The skewer seller agreed readily because they were both from the same town, so he wasn't worried about being cheated. Moreover, he knew something about Chu Feng.

"How long has this been frozen? It hasn't gone bad, right?" Chu Feng asked quietly.

The skewer seller felt a bit guilty and replied, "Shouldn't be a problem."

"As long as there's no problem!" Chu Feng patted his shoulder, appearing very chivalrous and generous, seemingly unafraid of getting sick.

Finally, a large package of skewers came out, sprinkled with cumin, pepper, and other spices, smelling quite delicious.

"Don't eat too much; if you get diarrhea, it's none of my business!" The skewer seller expressed concern.

"Don't worry, it's fine. My stomach is particularly strong!" Chu Feng said nonchalantly, then looked at the freezer behind him and said, "Give me a few bottles of beer."

"Sure!"

In the end, Chu Feng carried two large packages, drinking beer before even entering his house, mainly fearing the sensitive nose of the yellow ox.

"Yellow Ox, look what I've brought back." As soon as he entered the yard, Chu Feng shouted.

The yellow ox appeared, eyeing him suspiciously, feeling that this guy was up to no good. Then it saw the large bag of meat skewers in Chu Feng's hand and immediately showed disdain, raising its head and showing contempt.

"What do you mean? I brought this back for you with good intentions, yet you're still looking down on me with contempt." Chu Feng glared.

Hearing this, the yellow ox angrily wrote on the ground, questioning Chu Feng.

You went to see a goddess and ate French cuisine, but what did you bring back for me? Cheap street food, inferior and cheap skewers, trying to fool me!?

Then, white smoke started coming out of the yellow ox's nostrils.

Chu Feng felt guilty and secretly cursed; this ox was getting harder to fool, especially since it learned how to use the internet and knew everything.

But at this critical moment, he could only put on a bold face.

He spoke righteously, "What do you know? True delicacies are found in rural folk customs. Those so-called high-end things are just spending money to suffer, not tasty at all. If you don't believe me, try it!"

As he prayed not to get diarrhea, he took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and began to chew, shouting, "This is truly the world's number one delicacy!"

The yellow ox was suspicious, seeing him enjoying it immensely, and became tempted. Indeed, it smelled the delicious aroma.

In the end, it couldn't resist the temptation, picked up two skewers with its hooves, and swallowed them in three or five bites, immediately opening its eyes wide and mooing loudly.

Chu Feng was startled and became alert.

"All mine!" The yellow ox wrote on the ground, then pushed Chu Feng aside and sat down to enjoy the deliciousness alone.

"You ungrateful ox!" Chu Feng scolded.

"Moo, moo, moo!" The yellow ox mooed several times, looking smug and happily munching on the skewers, its mouth dripping with oil.

In fact, the skewers tasted pretty good. The seller had excellent skills. If Chu Feng hadn't been worried about how long they'd been stored, he might have fought the yellow ox for them.

Understanding the situation, he didn't dare take risks and handed over all the skewers to the yellow ox, patting its shoulder and saying, "See, am I generous enough?"

The yellow ox extended a front hoof, shook it, showing disdain!

"You heartless ox!" Chu Feng drank from the bottle.

Seeing the bottle in Chu Feng's hand, the yellow ox reached out its hoof, wanting a bottle too. But after taking a sip, it spat it all out.

It stared, what kind of crappy wine is this?

"You don't understand, this is the best wine in the world, selling very well," Chu Feng explained.

The yellow ox grinned, knowing Lafite and Romanée-Conti, mocking Chu Feng for drinking the cheapest wine.

Chu Feng had black lines on his forehead and said, "I'm going to confiscate your communicator!"

He muttered that this dead ox had figured everything out through the communicator, making it hard to deceive it in the future.

Eventually, the yellow ox ate over a hundred skewers of lamb and was very satisfied. It sprawled out on a rattan chair in the yard, gazing at the starry sky, looking very comfortable.

"Yellow Ox, here, take two pills," Chu Feng walked over.

The yellow ox turned to look at him, puzzled and doubtful.

"Stop Diarrhea, for dysentery and diarrhea, take two pills as a precaution," Chu Feng said guiltily.

What does that mean? What's going on?! The yellow ox sat up suddenly, staring at Chu Feng with its big eyes.

"It's health medicine, eating more is good for your body," Chu Feng claimed boldly.

"Moo!"

The yellow ox wasn't stupid. After a brief thought, it got angry. Indeed, cheap street food required immediate medication afterward, utterly unreasonable, too much!

It lunged at Chu Feng.

There was chaos, with chickens flying and dogs jumping, until it finally settled down.

The yellow ox stormed back to its room.

Chu Feng winced, having been kicked several times by the ox. Fortunately, his physique was now super strong, otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to get up.

He headed to the bathroom for a hot shower. After running between the county and Qingyang Town all day and fighting with the yellow ox, he was indeed quite tired.

When Chu Feng entered his room, he was half-asleep, not even turning on the lights, falling onto the bed and passing out immediately.

"Something's wrong!"

Suddenly, he woke up, completely alert.

Why is it so soft?

Moreover, there was a muffled sound from the bed, as if someone had been hurt.

Swish!

Chu Feng's hair stood on end. There was someone in the bed. He quickly retreated and turned on the light.

What happened? He was dumbfounded!

Indeed, there was someone in the bed, and she was a very beautiful woman who seemed to have woken up from pain, frowning slightly and opening her eyes, looking a bit confused.

"Who are you, trying to assault me in the middle of the night?!"

That was Chu Feng's voice, righteous and stern, interrogating her because he wanted to seize the initiative, not wanting to hear a woman, especially a beautiful one, scream loudly in his room.

Upon closer inspection, Chu Feng's heart skipped a beat. This woman wasn't just ordinarily beautiful, around twenty years old, dressed in white, with neat and smooth hair cascading down to her snowy neck, sweet-looking, youthful, and full of vitality.

She had fully awakened, clearly not an ordinary person, remaining calm after such an incident, her beautiful pupils bright, carefully observing everything in the room, quickly becoming composed.

She felt a slight pain in the back of her head, frowned slightly, gently touched it, and after a moment asked Chu Feng, "Did you knock me out and bring me here?"

"When did this happen? If I had such intentions, would you still be intact?!" Chu Feng denied outright, unwilling to take the blame.

"Why are you here?" The young woman asked, although calm, she was still somewhat nervous upon waking, checking herself discreetly.

"I should be asking you when you came in and why you ended up in my bed, what were you planning to do?" Chu Feng's thick-skinned nature allowed him to question calmly.

This beautiful woman raised her eyebrows slightly, wondering if she was really that despicable to be treated like this, but she held back, not losing her temper.

"Just wait, I need to go somewhere quiet."

Chu Feng rushed downstairs to the yellow ox's room.

"Dead ox, what did you do?"

The yellow ox was sulking and nearly lost its temper again, but Chu Feng managed to stop it.

"Why is there a woman in my room? Did you... bring her for me?"

The yellow ox defiantly raised a hoof, showing disdain.

Eventually, Chu Feng figured out what happened.

At night, the yellow ox went to bury its "treasure" in the orchard. On its way back, it found a woman wandering around the area, and she was an anomaly.

It thought she might be looking for trouble with Chu Feng.

Because she was heading towards Chu Feng's yard.

Without hesitation, it followed silently, sneaked up behind her, and hit her with its hooves, watching her roll her eyes and faint on the ground.

"You really went through with it," Chu Feng grimaced.

The yellow ox thought to itself that Chu Feng had killed a beautiful woman, having learned about his trip to the county while eating the skewers.

"And then you threw her into my room?" Chu Feng asked.

The yellow ox reluctantly showed embarrassment. In fact, later it discovered that other anomalies had appeared, seeking lodging in Qingyang Town. It realized it had acted rashly, effectively hitting the woman for no reason.

"You caused trouble and threw her on my bed?!" Chu Feng glared at it.

It's easier to communicate with people! The yellow ox wrote, then pointed towards the door, signaling Chu Feng to leave quickly.

Finally, Chu Feng returned to his room helplessly, finding the unbelievably beautiful woman quite stunning.

At this moment, the young, beautiful woman had fully adapted, standing by the window, gazing at the stars, very calm.

Chu Feng didn't know how to explain that a cow had knocked her out; who would believe that!

He couldn't drag the yellow ox over; if word got out, it would cause a huge scandal.

"Do you have anything to eat?" the beautiful woman asked.

Chu Feng was surprised; contrary to his expectations, she wasn't accusing him but asking for food instead.

"Yes, in the yard," Chu Feng replied, mentioning the remaining skewers.

The woman smiled, indeed very sweetly, even more beautiful than before, and asked, "You're not an anomaly?"

"No!" Chu Feng nodded.

"The one who ambushed me was an anomalous beast. At the last moment, I sensed its strength and danger," the woman's words reassured Chu Feng that she wouldn't blame him.

"Do you keep an anomalous beast?" she softly asked, smiling warmly, her big eyes curving, lips curling slightly, watching his reaction.

"Not at all!" Chu Feng firmly denied.

As they talked, they arrived in the yard. The woman frowned, obviously not accustomed to eating street food, but seemed genuinely hungry and picked up a skewer.

She ate elegantly and gracefully, even while eating lamb skewers. Chu Feng guessed she must come from a distinguished family, always maintaining certain rules and etiquette.

After a simple meal, the woman took out her communicator, frowned slightly, and began sending messages continuously.

"Alright, I should leave now. They've been worried about me disappearing for so long. I'll find that anomalous beast to settle accounts later!" She said, rising into the air, wings of light appearing behind her, emitting a pure white glow, standing in mid-air like a serene deity, ethereal and elegant.

Her hair fluttered in the wind, her eyes bright, dressed in white, appearing even purer, giving the illusion she wasn't of this world.

"Wait a moment," Chu Feng called out.

The young woman turned back, her extraordinary beauty now divine, smiling gently, radiating a gentle and mysterious light in mid-air.

"What is it?" she asked softly.

"Take this!" Chu Feng tossed a bottle into the air.

"What's this?" the woman asked, puzzled, holding the bottle, her beautiful face showing confusion, the white light from her wings glowing sacredly.

"Stop Diarrhea!" Chu Feng told her.

Hearing this, the young woman in white trembled slightly, even though she looked very sweet, her eyes couldn't help but show a hint of menace. Ignoring Chu Feng, she flapped her wings and flew away.

"Don't throw it away, make sure to keep it!" Chu Feng shouted after her.

In mid-air, the woman paused briefly, visibly restraining herself, then disappeared in an instant.

Shortly after, she met up with some anomalies.

"Thank goodness, we couldn't reach you. We thought the Tian Shen Bioware people had set a trap and attacked you together."

"You finally appeared!"

Some people sighed in relief."
