Chapter 7 - Your In Hell

The sound of sirens had awoken me the second before my head was severed from my neck, leaving only my lifeless corpse.

"Everything seems to be going as planned."

The man with gray hair and gray eyes said to himself after he'd just killed a man in cold blood. As he moved forwards a hoard of prisoners followed behind him and as he passed by more and more guards easily killing them, the number of prisoners only grew.

---Senithan's POV----

Leaving my cell I approached my left where my friends cell was, taking a peek within I was met with emptiness.

"How'd he leave already. He didn't even make a sound."

Senithan passed his friends empty cell and not long after did he find the stairs and descend to the ground level where the main escape was designated to happen.

Walking down the flight of black stone stairs he landed on another cell level, glancing all over he saw the number four plastered on the wall and realized he still had four more stairs to go down.

That wasn't it each level had stairs located on the opposite sides of each other so when he reach floor four he had to walk all the way around just to walk down more stairs and reach level three.

Suspiciously, he had not run into a single guard nor prisoner in all the levels above until he reached the third.

On the third floor all the cells were open just like on the floor above but the only difference was that periodically there were corpses of guards on the floor.

The first time I saw one I almost threw up what I had eaten for dinner at the prison, afterall I had never once in my life seen the lifeless bodies of others nor had I ever seen heaps of dried blood like what I was seeing.

Luckily before my stomach could leap out my body I reached the stairs where there was no a dead body in sight nor blood on the railing on the steps.

The metallic smell of blood retreated as I moved further down the stairs towards the second floor.

The second floor was more of a ghost floor. As I was walking around the faint signs of battle had been littered all across the floors and walls yet there were no bodies and only droplets of dried blood left on the ground.

Halfway around the second level the constant ringing of the red sirens halted abruptly leaving on the bright red lights on.

Intercom< "We've taken over ground level, any prisoners still up above hurry down, we've taken over ground level." >

'That voice... there's no doubt, that's that Redac.'

'If what they're saying is true-... it has to be or how else would he even be talking on the intercom in the first place.'

Hastening my steps I quickly descend to level one. My cellmate friend had already told me before that level one isn't ground level so my steps continued in a hastened manner and with my sense focused on the barely illuminated environment that glowed red a strange smell intruded upon my nose.

'Metallic.'

Only this time more pungent, strong so strong I couldn't even stop smelling it even after I covered my nose.

My eyes swept across level one unconsciously trying to find the source of that horrible metal smell, but then my brain realized that the only thing that could make that smell must be a corpse, with that in mind my eyes focused on what was in front of me not daring to look left or right in fear of a gruesome sight.

My eyes grew hazy the longer I smelt the horrible metallic smell. My already hastened steps had grew faster as I swiftly made it to the opposite side of level one and hasilty headed down the stairs towards the ground level.

Despite that the smell didn't seem to disappear... no matter fact the smell had only grown stronger and more piercing as it invaded my nostrils I realized there wasn't a point anymore to hold the prisoner outfit over my mouth and nose if it did absolute nothing to combat the pungent smell.

As I stepped foot onto ground level within the prisoner ,my eyes still hazy, my foot slipped as I fell down head first onto the ground infront of me.

Sitting up I didn't even take into account my other sense except sight as I gazed back at the pool of blood I'd slipped on and the lifeless body of a guard that the still liquid blood had shot out from.

I instant reawoke my other sense only to feel a wet, slightly sticky substance covering my hands and my clothes, blood.

"W-w-w-what t-the hell."

I desperately said in a low voice that held a fragment of the shock and fear I was in.

My body moved on it's on my hands pushing against the ground and moving my body back until it reached the stone cold walls of the prison.

My eyes opened and closed over and over again, looking down at my hands as if the blood would disappear and everything would go back to how it should be, no blood, no blood.

'No blood.' A smile, not of joy, but one fear and desperation grew on my face as it neared my hands. My eyes, still hazy and my mind still in shock lacked the ability to think straight and only went further into a rabbit hole not simplify because I had slipped into a pool of blood but because the very walls my back was up against....

....It was surrounded by tens of dead guards and prisoners alike, some headless, others with thousands of cuts bared into their skin leaving blooded cuts on their outfits. It was the gruesome sight I had been hoping to avoid seeing but on ground level it seemed a gruesome sight like this was common place.

'I fell sick.'

Not a moment later did my dinner I'd been given by the very same dead guards leap out from my stomach and jump out my mouth.

Stopping to take a breath, I looked around the place full of dead bodies, before my lunch also left my body causing me to throw up once more. And it didn't end there as I continued to throw up over and over five times consecutively until my mind was finally clear.

"This place is Hell. Isn't it." A voice said from my left.

Slowly shifting my head upwards I gazed at the face of a guard who's wiry smile lined his fox eyed face.

He clutched a shining steel sword that was above his head in the next instant and was coming down to cleave my head off so I could meet the other corpses who had all died here as well.

But before his sword could even touch me the guards head imploded has his body fell on me and his sword shattered somehow.

"You alright?"

I recognize that voice, my good old friend.

"Yea, of course I am. Thanks to you."
