Chapter 19 - The Path of Strength ep 2 s3

The sun bathed the training grounds of Valor Palace in golden light as the Grandmaster, Leo Chang, stood before the young 7th Prince. His presence alone carried an aura of absolute authority—his reputation as the strongest warrior in Valor was legendary.

"From today onward," Leo Chang's voice was firm, "you will begin your cultivation journey. In this world, strength determines everything. Without it, you are nothing."

The 7th Prince clenched his fists. He had heard tales of cultivators who could break mountains with a single strike, command storms, and rule over empires. He wanted that power—not just as a prince, but as a ruler beyond challenge.

Leo Chang continued, "Cultivation is divided into 100 levels, from Mortal Awakening at Level 1 to the legendary Divine Monarch at Level 100. Unlike others, you will not rely on soul rings or spirit bones. Your strength will come purely from your body, soul, and will. The stronger your foundation, the faster your growth."

The 7th Prince's eyes burned with determination. "How do I begin, Grandmaster?"

"First, meditation. You must sense the energy of the world and draw it into yourself. This is the first step to true power."

Under the sacred Valor Tree, the 7th Prince sat cross-legged. He closed his eyes, breathing deeply. He reached out—searching for the energy his master spoke of. At first, he felt nothing but silence.

Then… a faint warmth.

It swirled around him, just out of reach. He gritted his teeth, focusing harder. He had to grasp it. He had to—

A soft giggle broke his concentration.

He opened his eyes slightly, spotting a young girl standing at the entrance of the training hall. She had bright, curious eyes and a playful smile.

It was Mei Ling, Leo Chang's daughter.

She tilted her head. "Is it really that hard?"

The 7th Prince frowned. "It's my first time."

She laughed again. "Then I hope you don't give up too easily, Your Highness."

For some reason, her voice lingered in his mind long after she left.

But he quickly pushed aside his thoughts. Love was a distraction—he had a path to walk, and today was only the beginning.
