After the message Steve started packing his things to go back to his house afterall now he had no reason to hide after 'his debt got cleared' by his brother
After packing his things, Steve took taxi which brought him at his house within the hour
When he reached home his mother asked if Ray met him or called him when she didn't see him with him
" No mother he didn't even called me to invite me at his wedding and I had to come by myself "
" In fact I had tried to call him but he didn't pick "
Steve who knew about Ray's death as he had got message from the gangster while travelling, started his act
" What! Thats strange even I had tried to call him few minutes ago but it was unreachable "
His mother said with worry in her tone
" Oh mom you shouldn't worry about him he is not a child"
" May be got busy somewhere after all I heard that he was trying to borrow some money from my acquaintance "
" Why would he borrow money from someone else? "
" Mom although I didn't want to tell you but Ray's condition is not good so I will tell you "
" From what I heard from my contacts he got into gambling and had borrowed massive amount of money "

" Yes mom in fact he had called me to ask for money but when I told him that I don't have money he started avoiding me"
Steve who saw the expression of his mother knew that his plan of making his parents hate Ray is going on right track
" That's why don't worry I will talk to him about this "
Steve's mother said and told to go to his room to freshen up

And from that day no matter who called Ray his mobile was unreachable but nobody filed the missing complaint of him to police as they had got ' his message ' that he wouldn't returning home ever
And the ' people ' from whom he had borrowed money started coming to home demanding for ' their money ' as they had the signature of Ray on the contracts he had signed which left them with no other choice but paying them
Even Anna was shocked when she got to know about this just like his parent and refused to believe it
But after five days passed they started accepting that Ray was not really like they had thought him to be
All their feelings of love and trust in him got washed as more people came demading their money and new feeling of hate and disappointment took it's place
But as they were drowning in despair due to betrayal of Ray, Steve emerged as new hope as he helped them to pay the people who were his friends all along and were helping him in his act
" Even I hadn't expected that my plan would be this successful that only after few days they would be convinced that Ray had broken their trust which he had gained after all those years "
" And I even got bonus with Anna being now my fiance for my act "
