"I understand you," He released his arms from my waist and opened his hand gently. I gasped as I saw the little flower in his hand. "I saw this in the garden, and the maids told me yesterday about the outfit you'd be putting on today. It is the same color as your gown."
With my hand over my mouth, I let out a shaky laugh and embraced him tightly. "Thank you for everything, Lorien. I'm so grateful you treated me this way."
He scoffed. "Why won't I treat you this way? You're my Queen."
"Well, you never agreed to that in the past," I replied, broke the hug, and then saw a smile on his lips. "What?"
"Nothing." He carefully placed a flower on my hair and turned me gently to look at it in the mirror. "My beautiful Queen.
I beamed softly. "Thank you."
"We should head to the courtroom now, put your hands in mine." He said as he opened his palm and looked at me, giving me a reassuring look.
