Chapter 3 - Jill's Invitation

The man in the windbreaker widened his eyes in disbelief. He had been ambushed and beaten to death! As the darkness consumed him, no matter how unwilling he was, he could only succumb to death.

Cain walked over, picked up the watch, let the system absorb it, and then rushed to the main battlefield at the back door.

At this moment, the Reincarnator was already surrounded, with no way to escape under the hail of bullets.

"Ah!" Chris was shot, grazed by an assault rifle.

"Chris!" Jill shouted in concern, suddenly lowering her head. A row of bullets flew past, nearly killing her.

"Haha, you all have to die!" The burly man suddenly pulled open his shirt, revealing explosives strapped all over him.

"Wait Brothers, boss is coming to find you now!"

Bang!

A bullet hole appeared on the burly man's head—he had been shot dead by a sniper from a distance!

Cain quickly ran over, carried Jill on his shoulders, and pulled Chris toward the corner.

Boom! The explosion shook the ground, showing just how powerful it was.

Jill covered her head.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome. Just buy me a drink tonight. I'll call an ambulance for Chris first, and you should get checked at the hospital too."

Cain smiled. While carrying Jill on his back, he had felt her breasts pressing against him—soft and full. If he could grab a handful, it would definitely feel amazing.

As Cain was about to leave, Jill suddenly called out, "Cain, you are a good person."

"Thank you, but I'm not a good person. I'm just an honest villain. Haha, take care of your wounds. I'll visit you at the hospital after I finish writing my report."

Cain's smile grew brighter as he hurried away.

Jill watched Cain leave, suddenly smiling and shaking her head. "What a strange man."

Her impression of Cain had changed significantly. In truth, she never had a great impression of him before. Cain was involved in underground businesses—smuggling, gambling, and other shady dealings. He was not a good man.

Back in his car, Cain looked at the system he had activated, feeling a bit excited. He had waited so long for this system to awaken—he hoped it wouldn't disappoint him.

"Reincarnation System: Activated. Host: Cain."

"Current Points: 3,000. Store exchange mode unlocked. Points can be used for purchases."

Cain lit a cigarette. Whenever he was under pressure, he would choose to smoke.

There was no need to indulge in desires recklessly. He had no interest in prostitutes who had slept with countless men. If he was going to play, it would be with decent women.

After checking the ways to earn points, Cain's eyes flickered with thought. He seemed to have become a judge.

Any Reincarnator who entered the Resident Evil world was his enemy. He could kill them and take their watches to gain points.

The second option was to participate in other reincarnation worlds to earn points. Every time he entered a world, he could strengthen his influence over it, gradually turning it into his own domain to plunder resources.

These resources included everything—even beautiful heroines.

The reincarnation worlds were usually long-term battles.

The third option was to take part in short-term life-and-death challenges. These challenges varied—some tested physical strength, some intelligence, some teamwork, and so on.

However, these challenges were brutal fights among Reincarnators, with an extremely high mortality rate.

The points earned were average, intended for newcomers who had just entered the reincarnation cycle and had few points.

There was no cooldown time for life-and-death challenges. Theoretically, as long as one wasn't afraid of dying, they could treat it as a beginner dungeon and keep farming it.

One key rule in life-and-death challenges was that most superpowers, bloodlines, and items were suppressed, bringing participants to a roughly equal level.

This fairness was only relative—the exact rules had to be figured out personally.

Reading this, Cain's expression became amused.

His identity was somewhat like a half-Reincarnator. First, he had a home base where he could stay.

Secondly, he could hunt other Reincarnators while disguising himself as a native, which was quite interesting.

After understanding the points system, Cain turned his attention to the store. He was curious to see what good things were waiting for him.

"Infinite Bullet Desert Eagle, Attack Power: 100-180, Base Firing Rate: 1.3, Total of Six Bullets, One Bullet Recharged Per Second. Price: 3,000 points."

"Super Bulletproof Vest, Armor: 500, Dodge: 300, Elemental Resistance: 30, Health: 100. Increases movement speed and firearm shooting speed by 10%. Price: 1,000 points."

Seeing these two options, Cain frowned slightly. They weren't particularly powerful. An infinite-bullet Desert Eagle sounded good, but with a fire rate of one shot per second, it was a bit underwhelming.

Equipment was only temporary—skills were eternal. Strengthening oneself with skills and then building equipment around them was the real path to power.

Scrolling through the list, he found skills like Basic Combat, Basic Marksmanship, Basic Diplomacy, and Basic Exploration—many foundational skills.

Cain narrowed his eyes. Which one should he choose?

Soon, he found what he wanted. This skill was grayed out, with a note stating that only unknown personnel could purchase it.

However, as he read that line, the skill lit up, as if indicating that he could now buy it!

"Hehuan Heart Method: A martial arts technique from the Hehuan Sect. Sexual intercourse is the way of human relations. Learning this allows you to mate with women to enhance your abilities. If the woman also knows the Hehuan Heart Method, both parties receive double the improvement. Price: 1,000 points."

Cain's eyes gleamed. This was tailor-made for him. Having sex with women to improve his attributes? He could easily take on ten opponents now!

Without hesitation, he bought the skill. A stream of light exploded in his mind, filling his head with a surge of data. It gave him a slight headache, but soon, the skill's attributes appeared on his panel.

"Hehuan Heart Method: Level 1, Max Level 20. Each level increases Strength by 5, Agility by 5, Intelligence by 5, Base Attack by 5, and Movement Speed by 1%."

"Seems pretty average." Cain stroked his chin as he read the stats. Just then, his phone rang.

"Cain speaking."

"Tonight at eight, Cider Pub. The Crime Squad is celebrating. My treat." Jill's words were simple, and she hung up immediately.
