Chapter 2 - Awaken the power

It has been four years since June now Willow has been reborn into the Pokémon world. She now finds herself playing alongside Ash, the very person she admired throughout her life, and to her surprise, she is his twin sister. As they engaged in their games, they often boasted about their abilities to outmatch each other in Pokémon battles. Occasionally, Gary would join them for their playful competitions. As time went on, Willow began to sense that someone was watching her, but this feeling dissipated whenever Ash was nearby. This unsettling sensation persisted until she turned five, at which point she visited Professor Oak for the Pokémon summer camp that her brother had forgot and overslept.

Character Thoughts

I seriously can't wrap my head around how my clueless brother keeps talking about the camp but then just snoozes through it. It's honestly the most absurd thing he's done so far. Now I'm a bit anxious about having to wake him up when we finally catch our first Pokémon and send out on our adventures. But you know what? I'm just going to make the most of the camp, even though I know a ton about all the Pokémon. I'm still having a great time!

End of character thoughts

As the day progressed, Willow observed two children, Goh and Chloe, darting off in a particular direction, prompting her to consider following them. While she was contemplating this, something suddenly zipped past her, causing her to scream and tumble onto the ground. "What was that?" she exclaimed, scanning her surroundings in an attempt to identify the object that had rushed by. However, despite her efforts to recall the details, all she could remember was a fleeting blur. Frustrated, she decided to abandon her search for the mysterious object and attempted to rejoin her group, but then she heard a faint sound coming from a small creature. Curious, she began to look around for the source of the noise. The distant cries were soft, barely cutting through the murmurs of the woodland. Intrigued, I followed the sound, my heart pounding with anticipation. As I navigated through the underbrush, the gentle rustling unveiled a small creature nestled among the leaves. There, glowing with a vibrant red hue, was a Vulpix, its large, expressive eyes reflecting a mix of fear and hope.

Its six fluffy tails flicked anxiously, each movement creating a flicker of warmth in the cool atmosphere. I crouched down, making sure not to frighten it further. "Hello there," I murmured, extending my hand cautiously. The little fox tilted its head, the cries subsiding into gentle whimpers as it sensed my tranquil demeanor.

I remembered the tales of Vulpix and their famed loyalty. With a sense of tranquility, I took a berry from my pocket and offered it to the creature. After a moment's hesitation, the Vulpix drew closer, its delicate nose twitching with intrigue. As it accepted the berry from my hand, a bond began to form between us, marking the beginning of a friendship in the heart of the forest. As our connection deepened, I noticed the distant buzz of a solitary Beedrill approaching swiftly towards both the Vulpix and myself, while Willow quietly invoked the aid of Mew Archies or any other celestial being. In that moment, a barrier appeared, charged with a mysterious energy that resonated with her presence. When the barrier took shape, the Beedrill crashed into it, only to bounce back and repeatedly attempt to penetrate the barrier. As the situation began to deteriorate, Willow's anxiety escalated, prompting her to cry out for help. Eventually, the tension culminated in a shattering event that sent her crashing to the ground. Weakly, she raised her head, her thoughts consumed not only by her own peril but also by the safety of the Vulpix. Unbeknownst to her, the small fox had launched a fireball at the Beedrill. The Beedrill attempted to dodge the attack but found itself momentarily suspended in mid-air, only to be struck by another fireball. Slowly, Willow turned her gaze and noticed the Vulpix's eyes radiating a brilliant light. When she looked back at the Beedrill, she observed a mysterious wave of energy emanating towards it, causing the creature to succumb to sleep.

"You have the ability to utilize hypnosis along with some basic telekinesis." Willow, feeling drained by the recent developments, spoke to the Vulpix beside her. Out of nowhere, a sizable plush dragon resembling a Dragonite appeared in front of them. Moments later, an elderly man emerged from the woods behind Willow and the Vulpix; it was Professor Oak.
