In a room covered in white hazy mist, the girls are having fun taking a bath.
Yukio, Sasha, and Sharone lay down in the large jacuzzi-style bathtub, big enough to fit 15 people easily, while Lin, Koniko, Adriana, and Klara wash each other up. There was a part of the bath where the steam had thickness. The girls would occasionally glance there, but them being the only ones there, they ignored it, although they'd still look in that direction from time to time.
They chat about random stuff and laugh when they remember something funny.
Sasha looks to Sharone's breasts and gets closer to her.
"What is it, Sasha?" Sharone asks. "Kyaa!"
Sasha then grabs her breasts and starts molding them into different shapes.
"Your breasts have gotten bigger," Sasha says.
"W-w-what are you doing?" Sharone asks, flustered.
"They're softer, too. Have you and Kojo been up to something?" Sasha asks with a teasing smile.
Sharone's face turns red, and she stutters, "N-no, we haven't done anything. And how do you even know the difference?"
"I'm a succubus, honey. It's easy to tell."
"True, but you don't have any experience to draw from, am I right?" Koniko said with a smirk.
"Oh, and you know something?" Sasha asked.
"Well, yeah. I'm a big girl, you know," Koniko said, raising her head in the opposite direction, her face turning red. It was obvious she was lying, and Sasha stared at her.
"Come here," Sasha said as she pounced on her. She and Koniko struggled in the water as Sasha fondled her. They continued messing around in the bathtub till the rest of the girls finish washing up and join them.
"This feels great," Yukio said as she sinks into the water, blowing bubbles on its surface.
"This is way more relaxing than the baths back in the church," she said.
"Aren't the boys there public? Were both men and women shower together?" Lin asked.
"It's within our teachings to have no shame or regrets in our actions as long as what we're doing is right. Still, we're all human and not angels, so occasionally things get... weird. But Father Rigarde has made changes, so there is now separation between us girls and the guys."
"Don't some of the guys try to sneak a peek, though? I mean, it would be a huge achievement to break in on you while you were bathing or something like that," Sharone said. She glanced into a corner of the bath where the steam was thickest.
"I don't understand how the minds of boys work, but I doubt that's how it is," Yukio responded.
"Well, I know Kojo would've tried it," Adriana said. They all thought back to the time they beat him up for peeking at them in the mansion at Ekron and nodded in agreement.
Sasha eyed Yukio's breasts, watching as the water around them rippled. She stealthily moved around and, once she was behind her, reached out and grabbed them, giving her a good squeeze.
"Ugh, what is it, Koni-?" Yuki asks, her face turning red.
"Anyway," Sharone begins as she hits Sasha on the head and pulls her away.
"Anyone got any clues as to what's going on?"
"No."
"Nothing."
"Nope."
"How did the goblins get here unnoticed? I mean, this is the most secure city in the kingdom," Klara said.
"The way they attacked without warning, one might think that they were just trying to make a statement, but it was too organized and too well-planned out for that to be the case," Adriana agreed.
"True, they even took into account the templar knights and factored in the possibility of two saints being inside the city," Yukio said.
"It's more like they knew you would be there. Remember the attack patterns of the goblins that were attacking those people when we tried to evacuate?" Lin asked Yuki.
"You're right, they were using the layout of that area in tandem with their attacks to try to push us back."
"More like they were stalling. With our current strength, dispatching them wouldn't be that difficult, but they were using the city's layout and their numbers, even going as far as to take hostages, and they didn't act in a way that you'd think of as a group of extremists," Lin said.
"You're right. It's almost as if this entire thing was a cover for the real operation," Sasha said. There was silence for a while.
"You said they attacked the palace?" Sharone asked.
"Yes. I dispatched a group of assassins who tried to kill Rey."
"Meaning he might be one of their objectives," Yuki said. "But he wasn't the only one. Even taking into account the fact that Rey may or may not be guarded, there were way too many people sent out to infiltrate this place."
"Well, the guards did apprehend some of them in the Treasury. However, they killed themselves once they realized they were outmatched," Klara said.
"Be that as it may, it's now clear. Someone is helping them behind the scenes," Adriana said.
"True," Sasha agreed.
Sharone noticed a black gecko with green eyes and a green pattern on its back.
"Well, we'll need to tread cautiously from now on."
There's silence in the room.
"Let's just hope that idiot comes back before anything else happens," Koniko said.
Sharone noticed that there were ripples coming from a part of the bath where the fog was thickest and threw a sponge there.
"Ow."
They all froze. Klara dispelled the steam, and they all froze. There sat Sol without makeup, sitting casually in a bath full of women and taking a sip of wine.
"Hello everyone, lovely weather, isn't it?" he said, taking a sip of wine.
"I hope I'm not making you uncomfortable," he said. There was a strong pressure as Sasha let out her aura and her sword appeared in her hand. The others quickly moved out of the way.
"No man. No man aside from my beloved Kojo can gaze upon this body, and you, you have seen what you shouldn't have."
"But I was here first," Sol said.
"What are you even doing here?" Lin asked, covering herself.
"Sasha's aura began to infuse the sword, causing the runes in it to glow."
"Well, you see—" Sol began.
Sasha swung her sword, knocking him into a portal. His yells fading as the portal closed.
Sol landed in a rocky area, sitting up and finding himself outside the city.
In the tower, Saleem and Kojo opened the door to the 99th floor and found Eiden waiting for them, his hands on a sword in front of him. The moment they entered, the door behind them closed and disappeared.
"Let's end this," Eiden said, lifting the sword and making his stance.
"Well, this is do or die. Remember the plan," Kojo said before extending his claws and charging.
"That plan has no practical application. In theory, it could work, but not against a guy like Eiden," Saleem said.
"Enlighten me then," Kojo said, folding his arms.
"Eiden has what is called Urrsyn, or the transcendent sight of the god. It's an ability exclusive to only a handful of the Faeri."
"Wait, he's a fae?" Kojo asked.
"I thought you figured it out. You're more of a simpleton than I thought."
"Hey!"
"Anyway, this rare ability grants the user heightened perception and awareness, the ability to see multiple probabilities, the ability to see into the astral plane, as well as being able to see the flow of space-time, granting the user some clairvoyance."
"That seems like a pretty broken ability if you ask me."
(Urrsyn. It's so powerful that users who are well-versed in its use can use the unique ability: Chaos Theory. With it, they can not only view multiple outcomes of an event but actively influence it, enabling them to alter probability in their favor. They can also create illusions, create distortions in space-time as a result of their probability manipulation. Though there is a drawback. Once active, the user cannot blink or cover his eyes, as that would cause a sensory backlash.)
"Piece of cake," Kojo said.
"Listen, it only takes a few seconds for us to be reduced to a puddle on the ground. He can see the future. He can alter probability so that no matter how hard we try, all our efforts will be for nothing, and you want to poke him in the eyes?" Saleem said with exasperation.
"Yep."
(It's as I keep saying. You're an idiot, but no one would believe me.)
"No one can even hear you," Kojo thought, then he spoke before she could interject.
"Okay, listen up, here's the real plan," he grinned.
