As the cab drove off, Luna couldnt help but breathe a sigh of relief now that she finally got away from Kaizer. All her nerves finally completely relaxed.
While walking with him, she felt so suffocated that it was like she was drowning, and what she was drowning in wasnt water. It was like she was naked, she felt like his eyes were a thousand disgusting skeleton hands caressing against her skin.
She had wanted to run away, but she couldnt, since he would just follow her wherever she went. It was only now that he could no longer look at her that she finally felt she could breathe again.
That looked exhausting! the driver said from his seat to Luna.
You have no idea. She groaned absentmindedly.
The man chuckled lightly, Youre probably right. I can only imagine. Then he asked, So where are we going?
I dont know. I dont really go out much and this little outing has worn me out, just take me back to my car. Luna replied. Even she didnt know why she kept responding. It was like she had been hypnotized.

Well, I would have loved to visit an amusement park. Ive never been to one of those, so I thought it would be nice to maybe go for a walk there like normal person. She couldnt help but say as she looked out the window. But then she shook her head. Anyway, Im tired. I need to go back home, maybe Ill just take a shower and get some sleep.
What so early? But theres so much to see. Nope! We cant have that, you need to have some fun. Its decided were going to an amusement park!
Excuse me? Luna finally snapped out of it.

Luna was flustered. She had never run into a situation like this before. Wasnt this cab driver a little too bold to decide for her like that? She couldnt help but think Am I being kidnapped right now?
As she tried to process the thoughts in her head she soon thought about the whole conversation they just had. It was then that she realized, that voice sounded very familiar. So she asked. Who are you?
Hmm, you dont recognize your own boyfriend anymore?
Luna was confused. Boyfriend? Since when do I have a But then she stopped, after hearing the word boyfriend she finally remembered where she had heard that voice before. Wait youre Drake?
Of course its me. Its not like you have another boyfriend called Drake do you? Drake said and smiled at her through the hind view mirror.
Luna was instantly stunned when she saw his devilishly handsome face and starry eyes.
She asked. How? What are you doing here?
Didnt I just say we were going on a date?

Oh I was doing some work in the area.

Of course! The guy wasnt hard to convince, I just had to promise to keep him close. He shrugged. She nodded in understanding. Maybe hes following us close by and keeping an eye on his cab.' was what she thought.
But what she didnt know was that, by close he meant gag the guy and throw him in the trunk. But he wouldnt tell her that. Just let her use her imagination.
Alright, amusement park here we come! Let's go have some fun.
Luna looked at Drake silently. She hesitated, something was telling her to stop and just go back to her car. Yet, she also had some part of her that was feeling a bit excited at breaking the rules.
After all she was a girl in her teenage years, this was the age where people were at their most rebellious. So she decided to just go with the flow.

Star line Amusement park, was Sanctuary citys largest amusement park.
Drake and Luna went on almost all the rides. They went to the shooting range, ran obstacle course, they went on the Merry-go-round, scary house, love tunnel, rollercoaster, you name it. And for the next few hours they both enjoyed themselves like kids.
Luna particularly cherished it all.
Thanks to her status she never had the chance to come out like this before, so to her this was all new and she enjoyed every moment of it.
Drake enjoyed the look on her face through it all.
There were too many things they could do in an amusement park and the two of them were already running out of time this was because Luna had disappeared for over two hours already. Prince Kaizer would probably already found out that she never went back to her car and would be searching everywhere for her. If she remained missing for a prolonged period she was afraid the entire city guard would be looking for her before long, so after some deliberation and hesitation she decided they could only go on one more ride, this would be the last one.
Of course you can guess which ride that was. If you visited an amusement park and didnt go on the Ferris wheel then that trip should be considered incomplete.

The Ferris wheels were a bit more advanced than those of old. There was still the tall structure that had multiple arms that held spaces for people to stay but the difference was that, these arms didnt connect to hanging seats but emitted an almost undetectable invisible magic barrier that encased a flat surface ten meter radius wide making it look like it was floating in thin air.
On this floating surface, the ground was covered with grass and flowers. There was a five meter radius wide and three meter deep pond in the center of this space. There was a bench to sit on facing the pond and a twin swing the rest of the area was free so you could walk and play around.
Being on top of this floating island made one feel like if they only just reached out their hands a little, they could grab hold of the clouds.
Drake sat at the bench appreciating Lunas beautiful figure as she stood at the edge of the floating surface.
Seeing the look of wonder in her eyes he could not resist nodding in satisfaction. Which man doesnt want to achieve such with their woman, to completely mesmerize her? It is every mans dream! This is the result of my hard work! He thought.
When Luna turned around and saw that stupid grin plastered on his face she asked, What are you looking at?
He answered calmly You!

Youre beautiful and the look on your face, Im glad that I can put it there.
Luna blushed bright red like an apple, she didnt know why she always got that fuzzy and warm feeling whenever he praised her beauty, she felt a bit embarrassed. This thoroughly shocked her, she had never experienced this before.
Thank you! She said softly, her voice was so quiet it was like a mosquitoes whisper.
When Drake saw this he stood from his position and walked towards her. When she noticed that he was coming over, she felt her heartbeat quicken and she wanted to run away, yet she couldnt muster any strength in her legs to run. She turned her head away.
Drake walked over and stood between her and the edge.
When Drake stood in front of her he held her soft hand gently, and said You dont need to tell me that. There is no need for thanks between us.
Luna's face reddened like an apple. She was feeling bashful, but she nodded gently.
He he Well theres no need for thanks but shouldnt you reward your boyfriend for all his hard work? Drake laughed cheekily.
Dummy! Luna suddenly felt an even greater wave of embarrassment wash over her.
She struggled free of the hold he had on her hand and pushed his chest. But the moment she saw him falling she immediately regretted it and panicked, she hastily tried to reach for him to pull him back but when she caught hold of his clothes she wasnt able to stop him and fell with him.
She immediately closed her eyes and clung tightly to his chest thinking it was over.
They were over three thousand feet above the ground, falling from this height surely meant death even for a mage that couldnt fly.
Even though she was a mage, she herself could not yet fly. That was an ability that only 6 Star mages had.
Its okay Luna, You wont fall! Open your eyes.
Hearing the calmness in his, voice Luna was hesitated slightly then opened her eyes.
She was surprised to see that they were actually floating in thin air.
She exclaimed You can fly?!
I told you I have a superpower. Drake smirked arrogantly.
Im being serious! She glared.
This was another special effect put in place on the Ferris wheel, if you ever fell or jumped from the boundary of the floating island, you would enter an area where the gravity around the body would be completely negated allowing you to float and fly in the air like a bird. From that point you could choose to either return to the solid surface or go for a fly around. If you went too far from the surface you would run into the invisible barrier that was protecting everything within its borders.
When he explained it to her, she finally felt her racing heart calming. But then something made it start beating even faster. She finally realized just how close she was to Drake.
