Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: Doctor Lychee

Above the arena, seeing that his opponent wasn't swayed, Super Goku didn't waste any time, appeared behind him, and kicked him into the sky with all his might.

Eleim's body turned into a shooting star, quickly passing through the atmosphere and flying into space.

Goku was declared the winner.

[The next match will be between Dr. Raichi from Universe 3 and Vegeta from Universe 13.]

A few matches have passed, and Raichi was chosen again by chance.

Dr. Raichi, who walked out from Universe 3's area, looked at the arrogant Vegeta of Universe 13 and showed a rare smile.

The two came to the arena together, and immediately Vegeta flew in the air, looking below.

Vegeta asked, "Aren't you going to use magic?"

Unlike before, Raichi didn't use a spell to send his opponent to a different dimension.

He didn't plan to use this move again. He had to charge the spell before the match, and it only targeted a certain spot. It was possible for someone to avoid it if they reacted quickly.

Dr. Raichi sat on a black magic sphere. There was another reason he didn't try to win like this.

Raichi said, "No, if I sent you away, how would I kill you and get my revenge?"

The fact that Bardock was the only Saiyan among the participants from Universe 3 and Raichi's words made Vegeta 13 have a guess.

"Did you kill all the Saiyans in that universe?"

Raichi said indifferently, "Yes, except for that guy, all other Saiyans were killed by me. Does that make you mad? Do you want revenge?"

Vegeta laughed and said, "No, you did well."

Vegeta 13 seemed not to care about the extinction of the Saiyan race, which made Dr. Raichi a little stunned.

Raichi said, "I killed your entire race. Your father, your comrades, and even you."

Vegeta said, "The Tuffles were too weak, and therefore the Saiyans overthrew them.

If you could exterminate the Saiyans, it means that they weren't strong enough, giving you the right to kill them."

Vegeta 13's cruel worldview made Dr. Raichi remember why he hated them as he said, "This is why your race must be exterminated. You're all demons. I killed the Saiyans there, and now it's time for the Saiyans in other universes to perish, starting with you."

One would think that in Universe 3, Bardock led the Saiyans to defeat Frieza, and the Saiyan race lived in peace. But that didn't happen.

...

With the death of Frieza, the tyrannical emperor of the universe, the Saiyan race rose to dominance, reigning supreme across the cosmos. But their newfound supremacy was short-lived, for an old enemy returned—Doctor Lychee, the last surviving genius of the Tuffle race, hellbent on vengeance.

Long ago, the Saiyans' homeworld was not called Planet Vegeta but Planet Plant, a thriving civilization ruled by the peaceful Tuffles. When the Saiyans arrived as refugees, the Tuffles took them in. However, the Saiyans, lacking technological prowess, were relegated to menial labor, while the Tuffles lived in comfort.

As generations passed, the Saiyan population grew, and resentment festered. King Vegeta, rallying his people, incited a rebellion. On a full moon night, the Saiyans transformed into Great Apes and launched a brutal surprise attack. The Tuffles, caught unprepared, were massacred, including Doctor Lychee, who made a desperate last stand in his lab before falling.

Decades later, Lychee was resurrected, his hatred burning stronger than ever. Knowing the Saiyans had grown even more powerful, he unleashed a deadly poisonous mist to cripple them. One by one, the warriors fell, unaware of their unseen killer. Even Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, succumbed to a specially crafted toxin.

Only Bardock, gifted with foresight, glimpsed the impending doom. Though he narrowly escaped, he too was poisoned, leaving him as the last of his kind.

With the Saiyan race wiped out, the universe rejoiced. Their reign of terror had ended, and Doctor Lychee (Raichi)—once a victim of their cruelty—was hailed as a hero across the stars.

...

Long ago, on Planet Natsu, dark magicians created the ultimate monster—Hirudegarn—to conquer the universe. But before it could unleash its full power, a mysterious warrior struck it down with a magical sacred blade, splitting it in two. Though weakened, the two halves remained alive, threatening to destroy the planet.

To save their world, two heroes—Tapion and his younger brother—sealed each half of Hirudegarn within themselves. They were then locked inside enchanted music boxes and cast into the depths of space. The surviving magicians were exiled, but their descendants spent centuries searching for the lost seals.

Eventually, they found one music box in Frieza's territory. After unlocking it, they killed Tapion's brother, releasing Hirudegarn's lower half, which rampaged before being sealed inside the magician Hoi. Before they could free Tapion and claim Hirudegarn's full power, Frieza's forces attacked, slaughtering the magicians. Only Hoi survived, frozen in cryosleep to prevent Hirudegarn's release.

Years later, after Frieza's death, Hoi escaped and sought Dr. Lychee (Raichi), the Tuffle scientist who had exterminated the Saiyans. He begged for help in unlocking the second music box, flattering Lychee as a "hero." Intrigued by the challenge, Lychee agreed.

Upon release, Tapion was furious. Before he could react, Hirudegarn's lower half broke free from Hoi's body, wreaking havoc. Lychee summoned his ghost warriors to fight, but they were no match. As Hirudegarn's two halves nearly merged, one of the ghost warriors used Tapion's ocarina to reseal them.

Lychee modified the music box, allowing Tapion to fully contain Hirudegarn. Over time, Tapion mastered control of the beast and traveled the universe.

Centuries later, when the Varga invited Tapion to a multiversal tournament promising wishes (including his brother's revival), Lychee initially refused—until he learned Saiyans from other universes would compete. Meanwhile, Bardock, the last surviving Saiyan of Universe 3, also received an invitation. As they prepared to depart, a mysterious new warrior was detected on Earth.

...

Dr. Raichi in the arena began his duel with Vegeta.

Dr. Raichi raised his hand, and in front of him, three figures materialized.

The ones Dr. Raichi summoned were Frieza, Cooler, and King Cold, who had died in their own universe.

Thirteenth, Vegeta faced them without fear. "How foolish; I surpassed these fools long ago."

Vegeta disappeared, dodging Frieza's attack, and he then transformed into a Super Saiyan, punching through King Cold's chest and blowing him up.

Cooler and Frieza frantically unleashed their aura, their muscles expanding in size, and their strength increased.

They simultaneously struck with their killing techniques. The two energies merged with each other, forming a destructive attack.
