POV: Female Lead (Doctor – Jung Ha-neul)
Jung Ha-neul had encountered many difficult patients before—stubborn ones, demanding ones, even ones who cried over a simple injection.
But Ahn Min-jae was something else.
The man was infuriatingly composed, cold to the point of being emotionless. But Ha-neul had never been the type to back down from a challenge, and Min-jae had just unknowingly given her one.
She was going to make him care about something.
Even if it killed her.

The Next Encounter
The next time she saw Min-jae was three days later.
She was finishing up paperwork at the nurses' station when she spotted him walking through the hospital's private wing, accompanied by his secretary. His tailored suit was crisp, his posture straight, and—unsurprisingly—his expression was as unreadable as ever.
Ha-neul smirked. Time to mess with him.
"Mr. CEO!" she called out, waving dramatically.
Several nurses turned to stare. Min-jae stopped in his tracks, his eyes narrowing at her.
Ha-neul approached with a bright smile. "Long time no see! How's my favorite patient?"
Min-jae's secretary looked horrified. Min-jae, on the other hand, just sighed. "Dr. Jung," he said coolly. "You are not my doctor anymore."
She grinned. "That's true. But I'm still your fan."
Min-jae gave her a blank look. "My… fan?"
"Of course! I admire how committed you are to never smiling. It's impressive, really. Takes a lot of dedication."
Min-jae exhaled sharply. "You have too much free time."
"That's because I finish my work efficiently," she shot back. "Unlike some CEOs who think glaring at people counts as productivity."
His secretary stifled a laugh. Min-jae turned to glare at him.
Ha-neul leaned in slightly. "Come on, admit it. You missed me a little."
Min-jae stared at her for a long moment before saying flatly, "I forgot you existed."
Ha-neul gasped dramatically, clutching her chest. "Ouch. That hurt."
Min-jae turned away. "Goodbye, Dr. Jung."
As he walked off, Ha-neul grinned to herself.
He hadn't denied it.

Min-jae's POV: The Unshakable Doctor
Min-jae had no idea why this woman was so persistent.
Most people avoided him. They either feared him or wanted something from him—power, money, influence.
But Jung Ha-neul? She wasn't intimidated by him at all. If anything, she enjoyed getting under his skin.
And the worst part?
It was starting to work.
He found himself thinking about her when she wasn't around. Wondering what sarcastic comment she'd throw at him next.
It was annoying.
And yet, he didn't completely hate it.
