I stand there frozen not knowing what to do.
At that moment, I wish I could just disappear for earth to swallow me. That's when I realized I was still naked. I ran back to my room to grab anything to cover myself with. I grabbed a pair of shorts.
As I turned back to see if Kusina was okay, I tried to put my pants on at the same time. But as I stepped into them, I slipped on a shirt I had left out the night before and fell on my face.
"This just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?" I thought sarcastically.
I wiggle into my pants before I get up again I wiggle into my pants as I get up I grab a shirt from the floor, and as I stand in my doorway, I see Kusina getting up from the floor, blushing like a tomato.
"Are you okay?" I ask, some concern in my voice.
She looks back at me. "Yeah, I'm fine," she says in a small voice, but as she looks at me, her face turns even more impossibly red.
She turns away and makes her way down the stairs, nearly running from me.
A blue screen appears in front of me with that familiar feminine voice: "I think she liked what she saw."
My face turns beet red at the idea. "Shut up," I say, embarrassed. The thought of never leaving my room again crosses my mind, but the idea is dismissed as soon as it comes.
Well, I guess I should bite the bullet and get dressed.
As I got ready to head downstairs and face my mother and sister—and their inevitable questions—I heard the familiar feminine voice I'd linked to the system.
System: "I could help you, if you'd like. But it will cost you half of your currently available skill points."
"Before I agree, what exactly do you plan to do?" I asked, wanting to know the system's angle.
System: "I would simply block the memory and replace it with a fabricated one. However, this deception will be less effective on the one you call Kusina—her 'Iron Will' skill provides strong mental resistance. It wouldn't take much for her to break through the illusion. Still, as long as there are no disturbances, the fake memory should hold."
I sighed. "It's better than nothing, I guess. Do it."
System: "Understood. Beginning overwrite... 10%... 40%... 60%... 100%.
It is done, Host. Your mother and sister now believe you've taken a sudden interest in running. Your sister will no longer remember seeing you in your birthday suit."
