A Tremor in the Sanzu River
Deep within the murky, blood-red waters of the Sanzu River, an ominous silence hung over a massive, decayed ship. The floating vessel, once a mighty warship, now served as the throne of a nightmare—Master Xandred.
For years, the Nighlok leader had remained dormant, trapped in a deep slumber. But the river churned violently, its crimson waves crashing against the ship's sides.
Something was changing.
The air thickened with a suffocating pressure, dark energy pulsing like a living heartbeat.
Then—his eyes snapped open.
Master Xandred Returns
A guttural, monstrous growl escaped from Xandred's throat.
"GAAH! That cursed Sealing Symbol! Even after all these years, I can still feel its grip on me!"
He clenched his massive fist, and the very walls of the ship shuddered under the weight of his fury.
Beside him, his ever-loyal servant, Octoroo, scuttled forward, his staff clicking against the deck.
"Ooh-ah-ooh! Master Xandred, you're finally awake! But you still don't look so good."
Xandred snarled. "Of course I don't, you fool! That blasted seal from the Shiba Clan is still keeping me from fully reviving! But I can feel it…"
He flexed his fingers, feeling the slow return of his power.
"The world is weakening. The barrier between our realm and theirs is fading. Soon… I will walk the human world once more."
A Growing Threat
Octoroo's beady eyes gleamed as he tapped his staff against the floor. "Ohh, that's music to my ears! But Master, the Red Ranger is still out there, leading the Samurai Rangers. You know how pesky they can be."
Xandred's eyes burned with hatred. "The Shiba Clan… they should have been wiped out long ago."
He slammed his fist into the ship's wall, causing it to tremble.
"This time, I'll make sure that so-called 'leader' suffers before I end him."
Orders of War
Xandred turned his gaze to the murky waters below, watching as Nighlok foot soldiers and warriors gathered, awaiting their master's command.
"Send the Moogers. Let them wreak havoc. I want to see how strong this new Red Ranger really is."
Octoroo nodded eagerly. "Ooh-ah-ooh! As you wish, Master Xandred! I'll make sure they give the Samurai Rangers a proper welcome!"
As the Nighlok forces vanished through the portal, Xandred leaned back against his throne, his breathing heavy. His full power hadn't returned yet… but soon.
Very soon.
The Storm Approaches
Back in the human world, Jayden suddenly felt a sharp, unexplainable chill crawl down his spine.
For a brief moment, he stopped his training, gripping his sword tighter. Something was wrong.
Far away, hidden beyond the veil of the Sanzu River, Master Xandred smirked.
The war had begun.
