Katherine's POV
Finally, it was our wedding day.
Despite all the dramas, highs and lows, I was finally about to become Mrs. Sanchez, though for a while. I couldn't help reminding myself of the last part though it broke my heart to think of it.
I checked out my reflection in the mirror as I stood in the bridal waiting room. I looked beautiful, super beautiful and I couldn't help being amazed at the efforts the designer and the make-up artist had put into my appearance. I winced as I saw how dull my eyes seemed though and wondered if someone else could see the sadness in my heart.
If only I was marrying for love.
Shut it, Katherine. I rebuked myself. It was meant to be a happy day and having depressing thoughts would do nothing to make people believe that I was a happy bride, and that was the image I needed to sell.
