Chapter 9 - CHAPTER 9 KERBEL FOREST

Ancient Empire Calendar Year 1803

The Kerbel Forest, a leafless, extremely dark and ominous forest, was a place with a dark aura and dangerous monsters that could not be seen with the naked eye, and there were many deadly monsters, animals and insects that could cause your death with the slightest mistake. The soldiers were walking carefully and with sure steps. The unit consisted of 176 people, all of them were high-tier soldiers, the soldiers in the unit were in different tiers. There were 100 low-tier, 50 middle-tier and 26 high-tier, a total of 176 high-tier warriors. There were no mages in the group because the dense miasma of the forest neutralized the power of spells. As he said this, a pair of yellow eyes piercing the darkness like an arrow caught his attention.

"This is a Yezdik dog"

Yezdik dogs are extremely dangerous, cunning and disgusting creatures. They are the symbol of treachery, polytheism and bastardy. They are the only living species not used in the emblems of houses on the continent. One of the soldiers stepped forward

"Sir, let me take this dog's head, the blood of this disgusting, cursed creature must not stain your hands"

However, the large, scary man at the head of the group touched his soldier's shoulder and gently pushed him back

"No, I gotta make this dog moan "

The dog Yezdik jumped on the big man standing in front of him, this monster with only his eyes visible opened its mouth wide as if it was going to swallow the giant in front of it in one bite, its disgusting and nauseating mouth structure was so disgusting that it would make those who saw it vomit, the dog's opponent drew his sword larger than his size, transferred his dark blood-red noble aura to his sword and eyes, saw the dog's body and weak points, but aimed directly at its neck, swung his sword with terrifying speed, the blood-red aura of the sword illuminated the pitch darkness in the air it cut, even if only for a short time, the dog's severed head and body crashed to the ground, but the soldiers did not react at all, they were very used to such situations, the big-bodied man turned to his soldiers and

"We continue to advance. We will not stop until our supplies are exhausted"

The soldiers said in a low tone so as not to attract the attention of the monsters

"Yes, my Lord "

The inhabitants of Kerbel were creatures that reacted to even the slightest sound. The eye could not see the eye here, so all creatures had developed ears that could hear everything from one end of the forest to the other. The monsters in the forest did not leave their territory except to hunt, they only hunted once a day and mated with monsters from neighboring territories. There was no specific mating season, so the monster population in Kerbel grew very quickly. Few people know why this forest was like this, because it was a secret that the Kislaveins stubbornly kept. The lord of Kislavein would raid Kerbel at least once a month and kill all the monsters he encountered until his supplies ran out. Lord IV Orsman of Kislaveyn would go on each raid with a personal guard of several hundred high-ranking warriors and return a week later with monster corpses. These corpses belonged to Kislaveyn researchers who were interested in black magic, alchemy and curses. These corpses were valuable materials for researchers. They were used to create deadly poisons, curses and talismans that could be used both in assassinations and in battles. Thanks to this, this forest was transformed from a nuisance into a valuable mine. At the end of a week, while IV Orsman and his soldiers were preparing to return, a danger was approaching that would cause several monsters in the forest that were hiding from Orsman's anger and shaking the ground to gallop away from their hiding places. This dangerous monster was the Tyrant. It was a chimera that was 10 meters tall and intimidating with its enormous width and bulk. Every part of its body contained parts from different monsters. IV Orsman gave the order to his soldiers with his back turned.

"I will fight him, don't let anyone interfere"

The soldiers objected

"My Lord Tiran is too dangerous a being for anyone to fight one-on-one"

Orsman repeated his order in an angry and loud tone

"Soldier, how dare you disobey my order, if I say no one will interfere, you will not interfere"

At that very moment Tyrant attacked, holding a giant tree in his huge hands, as if taking revenge for the forest that was subjected to genocide by the Kislaveyn warriors in the forest, he hit Orsman hard. The force of the attack was so intense that the surrounding trees were uprooted and thrown up, but the attack was unsuccessful. Orsman not only fought off Tyrant's attack, he cut off the tree and then Tyrant's hand with his giant sword.

"Kerbel's Ruler Tiran is not as powerful as they exaggerate, it's really disappointing"

With pain and anger, Tiran punched Orsman with his other hand at incredible speed. Orsman protected his body with his aura and escaped the attack without even a nosebleed. Then, he directed his mana to his feet and increased his speed, attacked the monster's feet, gathered his aura in his sword. He tripled the size of the sword with his aura shaping technique and cut off Tiran's feet in a single move. Tiran, who lost his balance, fell to the ground. Orsman jumped into the sky with his leaping spell, focused his aura on his sword again, increased the size of his sword to 10 meters, and then cut Tiran in half. The soldiers were speechless with astonishment. One soldier was shocked and amazed.

"Our incredible Lord defeated the Tyrant all by himself"

Another soldier, apart from admiration, a sense of wonder filled his mind

"If our Lord can defeat the Tyrant all by himself, can't he also kill the monsters in Kerbel forest all by himself?"

One of the ranked soldiers heard this question and decided to answer

"Of course our Lord would do it if he wanted to, but where has he ever seen a Dynasty Leader carrying a body, idiot?"

After the answer of the commander, he bowed his head a little ashamed, while the other soldiers kept their mouths shut and watched their lords coming to them. As a result of this raid, the ruler of Kerbel forest, considered the most fearsome monster of Kerbel forest, Tiran, was killed by a single man, the 65th lord of the Kislaveyn Dynasty, Orsman IV. The Kislaveyns obtained a great loot that they had not been able to obtain in any of the dozens of raids before, even if it was torn to pieces, the body of a Tyrant, and Orsman added another title to his many titles, the Tyrant Killer.
