It's been a few weeks, maybe months, since I met Sylphie. I used to take Rudy out sometimes and hang out with him and her. I have to say, I've grown fond of her. In the anime, I found her quite unlikable, but this is different. Maybe time will change that, but only time will tell.
We got some good news this morning... Mom's pregnant! But of course with it came the bad news, well not for me, but for Mom. Lillie, her friend - if I can call her that - is also pregnant. The baby's father is none other than Paul.
I know that in canon, only Rudy saved Lillie from leaving, but I had to help with this one too. I didn't want her to leave. Not only her, but my mom needed our support. Once Lillie's housing problem was solved and her mother left, I said short words from my heart to Lillie so she would stop crying, "Lillie, you are like a second mother to us, we will take care of you as you take care of us. The same goes for the baby. I won't let anyone hurt him." With that, I left the room that day without turning around.
Time was passing again and the babies were slowly getting ready for the world. There was no time, so I had to get on with creating a new member of the family and my army. The decision was made that this time it would be a fox.

Exceptionally, I didn't choose the night or my room to create. It was a clear day in our garden, coincidentally everyone was home. I left them there and slipped out unnoticed.
Despite wanting to show off my magic, I erected a magic barrier to dampen the magic. It's too strong magic after all.
I used Rachel to control it again: "Rachel, like before, check the state of the soul, intervene if necessary, do you understand?"
With that, my eyes flared red, a black flame shot out of my hand, slowly dripping like smoke onto the ground where the massive body of the fox began to take shape. So far, it was only the distant outline of something that barely resembled a fox. The mana drained from me forcefully into the surroundings, focusing only on the body. Slowly but surely, it began to take shape. After a few seconds that seemed like minutes, a black massive shadow body completely formed. Once it was complete, I began to prepare the soul.
A smaller golden orb flew out of my hand this time - something so valuable that even the devil makes deals with mortals to obtain it. And I make them as if they were nothing
The moment the golden orb entered the body and everything became one, the body dissolved. And now it was time for the command. The command that will make the dead rise. Something that carries so much weight that no one dares to resist it.
"Arise!" I said loud and clear. The wind picked up slightly at that moment, and a shadowy nine-tailed fox began to form from the empty space in front of me. As it took its form, it opened its
beautiful red eyes and lowered its head.
"From now on, your name will be Kuzuha." The reason for this name was clear - I had endowed the fox with the powers of nature and holy magic. As soon as I named her, she raised her head and returned to my shadow.

The girls were born today. I think it's time to introduce Kuzuha. I decided to draw the attention of not only the family, but also Sylphie, who was visiting us today.
"Could you all please give me your attention for a moment? I'd like to show you something." As soon as I said that, all eyes in our home were on me.
"I'd like to introduce someone to you. Think of her as someone who will protect our family, especially Norm and Aisha." I could see the subtle confusion on everyone's faces, so I decided not to jinx it and cut to the chase. "Kuzuho, come here." At that moment, my shadow shuddered and a creature began to crawl out of it. After fully appearing, its form became unified. She immediately lowered her head in front of me and I spoke, "This is Kuzuha. It is the fox spirit of nature."
I could see the surprise on everyone's faces, but what caught my attention the most was the expression of Sylphie, who then spoke, "I've read about nine-tailed foxes, but they are supposedly extinct. She's really unreal..." With that sentence, she walked over and asked, "Can I pet you?" Kuzuha agreed and Sylphii began to pet her.
I turned back to my family and Lillie spoke to me, "So that's what you did that day? Did you create it?" As soon as she mentioned that I had created her, I saw signs of shock in everyone. I replied, "No. I created this one a few days back so she could protect here. The day you sensed my true magic, I created Kurai, who is currently protecting Roxy and helping me send letters."
With that, Rudeus snapped at me, "I knew it! You've been hiding your true magic all this time! Why?"
Honestly, I was expecting this question and to this day I still don't know how to answer. Still, I tried, "I was afraid... Only a god should be able to create something alive, right? Even so, I've already created two living beings."
Mom ran up to me, "You know we would never leave you, right? It's not a bad thing that you created something so amazing. Plus, you did it to protect us. I don't see anything wrong with that."

For the rest of the day I listened to words of comfort. Plus, Sylphie, Mom, Lillie, and the girls all liked Kuzuha. I'm glad she's not afraid of me, but why did Rudeus have to confront me after all?
"Why didn't you tell me? How did you even create her?" These questions were hard to answer, yet I tried. I more or less told him that it was a unique ability of my mana. He bought it, which I'm glad he did, but he did ask me to do one thing - show him my actual mana signature. I did, and to my amazement he didn't ask any more questions, he was just purely fascinated. I also confessed to him, I told him the truth about me falling in love with Roxy. All he told me was that he knew. I was glad he didn't blur it any further.
There was also this other thing - Raonar Magic University. We agreed to go there together, but the problem was Sylphie. Rudeus wanted her to come with us, so he asked her father. Paul was against it because of the money, said he'd only pay for us. With that, Rudy asked to get him a job. And I offered to accompany him.
And with that, our departure was imminent...
