"That can't be right. Let me see." She says as she snatches the paper from me, and I watch her eyes grow wide as she reads the words on it.
"What is… The hunter's conquest?" I question, and Queen Velnara looks up at me for a second, before turning to the council members.
"Why was this in the bowl?" She demands, and the eldest council member stands up.
"It's a part of the rituals, my Queen. It is meant to be amongst the other rituals." He replies, and somehow, I feel like this was a well thought out plan of these councilmen.
But why is Queen Velnara so worried? What's with all these reactions?
"We haven't done this ritual for hundreds of years. Why then is it being included now? You all know why it was stopped, so why is it being involved now??" Queen Velnara demands, and I blink as I stare at the council members. They all look uncomfortable and scared of her, but the eldest council member looks collected. Calm, and unbothered.
