In Front of the Dormitory Building
A soft glow bathed the evening air as the light began to fade. A gentle breeze carried the scent of ancient trees surrounding the area.
With a whoosh, two figures appeared in the air before gently landing on the ground.
Yan Shaoze landed lightly like a bird, his hand still resting on Wang Feng's shoulder, who looked half-dazed by the situation.
Wang Feng glanced around. "We're here already?"
Yan Shaoze let go of his shoulder. "Yes. How does it feel? You should be grateful—a Titled Douluo acting as your chauffeur twice now."
Wang Feng shook his head slightly, still dizzy. In his heart, he grumbled, 'Who asked you to? I'd rather swim than be flown around like that.'
"Wang Feng!"
He turned toward the voice and saw Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong approaching.
Yan Shaoze glanced at the two of them. "Looks like your friends are here. I'll be off now. Remember, tomorrow we're going to hunt soul beasts."
With a light leap, he vanished into the evening sky.
The two hurried over, still wearing their Shrek Academy uniforms. Their faces looked tired but curious.
"Wang Feng, where have you been? Why weren't you in class earlier?" Wang Dong asked casually, though his pink eyes were filled with curiosity.
"Oh, right, I forgot to tell you," Wang Feng scratched his head awkwardly. "Remember that thing a month ago? I was offered something by Dean Yan, and he gave me a month to decide. I just gave him my answer today."
Huo Yuhao raised an eyebrow. "An offer? You mean that time by the Sea God's Lake?"
"So… you accepted the offer?" Wang Dong crossed his arms, his expression growing more serious.
"Yeah. I officially joined Shrek Academy's Inner Court," Wang Feng said calmly.
For a moment, silence fell between them. Then…
"Seriously?!" Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong exclaimed almost in unison.
"You're not joking, right? They say to join the Inner Court you at least need to be a Spirit King." Wang Dong looked at him, a mix of disbelief and admiration in his eyes.
Wang Feng just shrugged and gave a small smile. "I still can't quite believe it myself, but yeah. Starting today, I'm an Inner Court student."
Huo Yuhao smiled. "Congrats, Wang Feng. Don't forget about us when you become famous."
"No way," Wang Feng replied. "You guys are still my friends. Don't worry."
Wang Dong suggested, "Let's go in before it gets any colder. I really need some rest."
The three of them stepped into the dormitory building, their conversation shifting to light-hearted jokes.
Soon, they arrived at their room. They opened the door and entered.
Wang Feng began taking off his clothes, but froze halfway through. He suddenly remembered—Yuhao and Wang Dong were still in the room!
Quickly, he put his clothes back on and said, "I'll go shower in the hallway bathroom."
"Okay," they both replied at once.
After a brief farewell, Wang Feng stepped out of the room with his towel and a change of clothes. The dormitory corridor was already quiet, with only the occasional footsteps of passing students echoing.
The night air had turned cold, but Wang Feng found it comforting. His steps were light, but his mind kept spinning—thinking over everything that had happened today.
'I was really accepted… into the Inner Court…' he thought, taking a deep breath.
When he reached the bathroom, he closed the door and turned on the water. Warm steam quickly filled the small room.

Meanwhile, in the room.
There was something very shocking that would have made Wang Feng scream if he saw it.
It turned out that Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong were changing clothes at the same time!
If Wang Feng had been there, he probably would've shouted, "That's not fair!"
Of course, there was a reason why they had to hide from Wang Feng and didn't want to change clothes in the same room as him.
And the reason was… both of them were actually girls!
Huo Yuhao carefully took off her school uniform, revealing curves that were impossible for a boy to have. On the other side, Wang Dong—also removing her top—revealed a slender and delicate figure, fully confirming that she, too, was not a boy.

That night, around midnight, Huo Yuhao woke up with half-lidded eyes. The dorm was cold, and her stomach felt uncomfortable—she really had to go to the bathroom. Without turning on the light, she sleepily walked toward it.
She had no idea… that Wang Dong was already inside.
And the most fatal mistake…

The bathroom door opened slowly. A faint light from within the room shone directly onto Yuhao's face.
What she saw snapped her wide awake.
Wang Dong was standing with her back to the door. Her pale, smooth skin gleamed under the warm steam. Her school uniform hung neatly on a hook. Not a single part of that figure looked like a boy.
Huo Yuhao froze. Her breath caught in her throat.
"W-Wang Dong…?" she whispered.
Wang Dong turned slowly, her pink eyes going wide as she realized who was standing in the doorway.
"…YUHAO?!"
Her voice rose in panic. Her face turned as red as a boiled shrimp, and she instinctively grabbed the nearest towel to cover herself. "ARE YOU CRAZY?! WALKING INTO SOMEONE'S BATHROOM WITHOUT KNOCKING?!"
"W-Wait! I didn't know you were—"
"Get out!!!" she shouted, but it was already too late. They had seen way too much of each other.
Yuhao, shocked and stumbling backward, didn't realize that the tie of her pajamas had come loose. The top opened slightly, revealing… something that made Wang Dong blink fast.
Her expression changed.
"…You too?" Wang Dong asked softly, her voice filled with disbelief.
They stared at each other suspiciously, then, in perfect sync, pointed at one another and whispered in shocked unison,
"You're a girl too?!"
A heavy silence hung in the air for a few moments, until Wang Dong grabbed Yuhao's hand and quickly shut the bathroom door tight from the inside.
"No one can know about this. Especially Wang Feng!" she hissed, her voice shaking.
Yuhao nodded, still half-panicked. "I agree! He can't find out at all!"
Wang Dong leaned her back against the wall, rubbing her flushed face.
"This is so embarrassing… I can't believe I was that careless…" she muttered.
Huo Yuhao tried to smile reassuringly. "But hey… at least now we both know. That's better than having to keep guessing, right?"
Wang Dong shot her a sharp glare. "Don't get too friendly just because we share the same secret." She was still mad that Yuhao hadn't knocked before opening the bathroom door.
"Eh… r-right…" Yuhao scratched her head and gave a nervous laugh.
Wang Dong took a deep breath and said softly, "If you ever tell anyone about this… especially Wang Feng… I'll make sure you regret it."
"Understood," Yuhao replied quickly. "You better not tell anyone either."
Wang Dong narrowed her eyes. "If I've been able to keep my secret this long, I can keep yours too."
They stared at each other… then sighed in unison. In that small, steam-filled room, the two girls who had been pretending to be boys made one promise:
They would protect this secret with everything they had.
Meanwhile, Wang Feng—the only real guy in the room—was still blissfully unaware. He was off enjoying his shower, completely in the dark about the secret pact his two friends had just made.
