The room was empty.
But the air inside seemed to be squeezed from all sides.
Reed stood in front of his kingdom's flag.
A goblin skull, a cracked crown, two red eyes.
A symbol of controlled chaos.
Now it seemed to be laughed at by an unseen enemy.
Klik stood a few feet behind him. Silent. Not daring to speak.
Reed finally spoke, softly. His voice was barely audible, but enough to freeze the air.
"The Black Roots didn't attack me. They attacked the message of Gravemire."
Klik dared. "You want… revenge?"
Reed turned.
"No. Revenge only satisfies. I want results."
