Hamar sat down at the table with Hafar and his parents. Hafar was just a teenager when the first met but now he has become a grown man.
He had a rough dark brown beard and long hair tied up. He carried a saber on his waist at all times. He used to be quite skinny but now he had become fairly built, and grown taller above both his parents.
This was partly just normal growth but also he had become a knight like Hamar. He gave up all the easy abilities and instead learnt aura instead. He was not as skilled and Hamar but he could still use aura effectively.
The family and Hamar sat down at the table having their breakfast, pancakes with fruit on top. Usually those in Sacrarium mostly survived on meat since plants did not flourish but yesterday Hou made crops grow everywhere.
People took advantage of the sudden growth and harvested the wheat, grinding it into flour. It was just early days though, meals would still be meat based but flour could be used occasionally.
Hamar finished off his breakfast and thanked the family, apologising for intruding. He then stood up and left again, telling Hafar where the training would be held if he wanted to come.
Hamar closed the door, seeing the sun had grown much bigger, the sky was nice and bright, with even normal clouds floating above. It really was like a whole seperate world.
Hamar started walking, slowly increasing his speed, following his path he made. Back into the main town, past the large stone walls separating it. Hamar slowed down to a normal pace and walked towards the guards post.
As Hamar made it to the guards post, he saw guards standing about, unsure of what to do.
"Nice to see you all, I'll be your guard captain from now on!"
The guards all shook and stood upright saluting.
"Yes sir, we have heard from sir Arm"
"Good, though no need to be so upright with me... Just talk normally"
Hamar scanned the guards noticing how little there were.
"Is this all of you?"
"No si..no Hamar, this is about half, everyone else took time off to be with family"
"That's fine, from now on everyone should switch everyday. So all of you will only work every other day. For now you all come with me"
Hamar gestured for the group to follow and walked over to his house. His house was just outside the main walls, but by the side Hou had already flatbed the area. This was his training ground he was in when he tested out the new move he thought of.
There should've been a crater there but Hou had already fixed it, once again becoming a long stretch of stone. It was not the same facility they had in the old Hou sect but with Hou's new spirits it was fine.
"This is my private training ground, I'll get Hou to make one in town, but for now we use my own. I want you all to spread out and await my instructions."
The guards nodded and moved onto the training grounds, spreading out so they had space around them.
Hamar looked and went into his house. The night before he got Hou to create swords for him. They weren't strong but there were many, he will still need to get a blacksmith to make some for them all.
Hou grabbed the whole stack, an enormous number of swords, and brought them outside dropping them on the ground.
"These are your training swords! Do not worry of them breaking, if you do well they will break. I will give you all one, hold them in stance."
Hou kicked up a sword, then pushed it lightly with aura, landing right in front of one of the guards. He did this with each guard, instructing them to pick them up.
Each guard had a different stance and held the sword differently. Some were good, while some were too amateur.
"Discard all knowledge of swords you may or may not have, from now on you are all beginners!"
Hamar spent the day, until the sun started to shrink, teaching the present guards on proper stances. He told them about how to stand, how to hold their sword, and how to swing it. He needed to build up their foundations and then teach them more. They first needed to drill in the basics before they could do anything else.
Hafar had not come and so Hamar went into the centre after training following his guards. They were all exhausted and went to go get drinks, Hamar was obviously not exhausted but he took wanted to get drinks.
He followed them to a house, just an ordinary house, where the woman of the house brought out multiple kegs of alcohol.
"Don't you boys get too rowdy and break my good kegs!"
She then noticed Hamar standing back, clearly not of the same crowd as the exhausted but rowdy guards.
"And what can I get you?"
"Anything strong, if you will, what do you want for it?"
"Oh nothing, you were helping our guards weren't ya' , I give them all drinks for free. Least I can do for their hard work."
"I'll make sure to find you something anyway"
"Oh there's no need, take these"
The woman went back into her house, looking for something. When she finally found it, Hamar heard a scream, and she came jogging back with a few bottles in her hand.
"Here's some harder stuff, take care at our age we can't have too much, sorry for taking so long"
"No need, it wasn't long, and thank you"
Hamar thanked the woman and nodded, stepping into the air. Under her amazed looks, Hamar stepped into the air, glowing light materialising under his feet as he traveled in the sky.
Hamar, ran up and scanned the place, looking for Hou. Hamar finally found Hou's house and came walking towards his balcony once again. He knocked again, waiting for Hou to answer.
After a few minutes there was no answer and Hamar left a bottle on his balcony.
"To us" Hamar lifted an open bottle and took a sip.
