Chapter 26 - Last ToughTournament.

The crowd's jubilation was palpable as Mei , "Yes, my son has emerged victorious!" The Li family had been eliminated, leaving only two families, the Xiao and Wang families, to vie for supremacy.

"Let us observe how the last tournament unfolds," Hua exclaimed, his enthusiasm infectious. "Jiao Long has triumphed in numerous tournaments over the past six years, cementing his reputation as a formidable opponent."

The bell rang, signaling the commencement of the next match. "Jiao Long versus Lie Renwo, who will emerge triumphant?" the announcer asked, his voice dripping with anticipation.

The atmosphere was electric, with expectation hanging palpably in the air. The two fighters faced off, their eyes locked in a fierce stare. Lie Renwo landed a powerful blow, sending Jiao Long flying backward with a resounding crash.

Jiao Long stood up, his eyes fixed intently on Lie Renwo. "You possess remarkable strength," he said, "but you are no match for my superior prowess."

The battle raged on, with both fighters exchanging blows in a dazzling display of martial arts expertise. Lie Renwo employed the Rapid Fist technique, striking Jiao Long with a flurry of swift punches that left him reeling.

Jiao Long countered with the Earth King Fist, a powerful technique that sent Lie Renwo flying backward with a loud thud. The two fighters clashed, their blows striking each other with incredible force, causing the air around them to ripple and distort as if the very fabric of reality was being warped.

Just when it seemed that the battle would never end, Lie Renwo unleashed a devastating combination of attacks, culminating in a powerful blast – "Hong Yan Pao – Crimson Flame Explosion!" The commentator's voice reached a fever pitch as flames engulfed Jiao Long.

Jiao Long stumbled back, his defenses breached. Lie Renwo seized the opportunity, striking Jiao Long with a final, crushing blow – "Qian Kun Jian – Heavenly Void Sword!" The sword sliced through Jiao Long's weakened guard, striking true and sending him crashing to the ground in defeat.

Lie Renwo stood victorious, swaying unsteadily amidst the swirling clouds of dust and debris. As he stood victorious, Mr. Wang's countenance contorted with irascible rage, his eyes blazing with a fierce, aurelian light.

He launched himself towards Lie Renwo with a vociferous battle cry, his pugilistic fists aglow with a fierce, golden energy. The air around him seemed to ripple and distort, as if the very fabric of reality was being warped by his anger.

However, before Mr. Wang's onslaught could reach Lie Renwo, a sudden gust of wind swept through the area, extinguishing the torches and lanterns and plunging the surroundings into darkness. The crowd gasped in shock as a figure emerged from the shadows.

It was Mei, Lie Renwo's mother, her long, raven-tressed hair streaming behind her like a banner. With a swift, economical motion, Mei raised her hand and caught Mr. Wang's blow, her fingers splayed in a precise, crane-like gesture.

The two of them stood there, frozen in a tableau of strained muscles and crackling energy, their eyes locked in a fierce stare. The air around them seemed to vibrate with tension, as if the very foundations of the earth were being tested.

"You dare to attack my son?" Mei's voice was low and deadly, her eyes blazing with a fierce, divine light. Mr. Wang snarled, his face twisted with rage.

"You think you can protect him forever?" he spat. "I'll crush him, and I'll crush you too!" With a sudden burst of strength, Mr. Wang unleashed a devastating combination of attacks, each one fueled by his immense cultivation power.

He employed the Wang Family Fist Style, a legendary technique that had been passed down through generations of the Wang family. The fist style was renowned for its brutal efficiency, capable of shattering even the strongest defenses.

Mei, however, was no ordinary opponent. As the wife of the Supreme God, she possessed powers that were almost equal to those of the gods themselves. She countered Mr. Wang's attack with a swift, flowing motion, employing the Heavenly Dance Technique.

This ancient technique was said to have been inspired by the celestial movements of the stars and planets, and was capable of manipulating the very fabric of reality. As the two of them clashed, their blows striking each other with incredible force, the air around them seemed to ripple and distort.

The ground shook beneath their feet, and the sky grew dark with foreboding clouds. Mei's hands seemed to dance through the air, weaving a complex pattern of attack and defense. Her movements were so fast, so precise, that they seemed almost supernatural.

She employed the Five Elements Technique, a powerful method that allowed her to manipulate the fundamental elements of nature: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Mr. Wang, on the other hand, relied on brute force, using his incredible strength to try and overwhelm Mei.

He unleashed a barrage of attacks, each one fueled by his immense cultivation power. The battle raged on for what seemed like hours, with neither side giving an inch.

The crowd watched in awe, their minds struggling to comprehend the sheer scale of the powers being unleashed before them.

Just when it seemed that the battle would never end, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was an elderly man, his long white hair streaming behind him like a river of snow.

He wore a long, flowing robe, embroidered with intricate patterns that seemed to shimmer and glow in the dim light.

"Enough!" the elderly man cried, his voice like thunder. "This battle ends now!"

Mei and Mr. Wang paused, their chests heaving with exhaustion. They turned to face the elderly man, their eyes filled with a mixture of curiosity and respect.

"Who are you?" Mr. Wang asked, his voice still trembling with rage.

"I am Elder Zhang," the elderly man replied, his voice calm and authoritative. "And I will not stand idly by while you two destroy the balance of nature."

Mei bowed her head, a look of respect on her face. "Elder Zhang, I apologize for losing control."

Elder Zhang nodded, his eyes twinkling with wisdom. "You are forgiven, Mei. But Mr. Wang, you must learn to control your temper."

Mr. Wang's face darkened, but he said nothing. He knew that he had overstepped the bounds, and that Elder Zhang's words were justified.

The crowd began to disperse, murmuring among themselves about the incredible battle they had just witnessed.

Lie Renwo watched his mother with a mixture of awe and gratitude, thankful that she had protected him from Mr. Wang's wrath.

As the crowd disappeared into the shadows, Elder Zhang turned to Mei and Mr. Wang.

"Let us speak of this no more," he said. "But remember, the balance of nature must be maintained at all costs."

Mei and Mr. Wang nodded in unison, their faces somber with understanding.

And with that, the battle came to an end, leaving behind a sense of awe and wonder that would be remembered for generations to come.
