Chapter 163 -  Let’s Go See the Ocean

"Anming."

Under the soft night sky, the two leaned against each other—just like when they first arrived in Penacony, clinging to one another as they trudged through the muddy realities of life.

Only after overcoming countless hardships could they finally realize their dreams. Robin thought herself lucky—at least she had the chance to chase hers.

So many others never even glimpsed the edges of their dreams. In the end, those aspirations became nothing more than childhood fantasies, crushed beneath the weight of reality.

"We leave tomorrow morning. You should rest early."

Anming gently brushed Robin's beautiful hair, marveling at how much she had grown. Even as a child, she had been stunning—but now, her charm was undeniable.

Robin's beauty was galactic-tier. Her fans adored not just her voice but her looks as well.

And on stage? Every step she took captivated the audience. Her voice carried them through dreams.

Suddenly, Robin sat up, propping her chin on her hand as she gazed at Anming with a smile.

Being this close to her was a privilege. At this moment, even the stars outside the skylight paled in comparison—only Robin's eyes shimmered.

Tucking a stray azure lock behind her ear, she leaned in, pressing her lips to his. Her eyes, filled with tenderness, never left his.

Their faces flushed as they held each other's gaze.

Robin savored the warmth of his lips, her heart fluttering. She wasn't well-versed in intimacy—kissing was as far as she had ventured.

Thanks to Sunday and Anming's protection, her wings had remained untouched by the world's grime, pure as the day she was born.

"I want to look at you a little longer," Robin murmured, draping herself over Anming, her cheek pressed tightly against his—as if afraid this might all vanish upon waking.

"It's not like I'll grow wings and fly away."

"Mmm~ Even if you did, I'd catch you and lock you in a birdcage. My own little songbird."

"Scary."

"Hehe, just kidding~"

Robin giggled, too excited to sleep—like a child the night before a school trip.

Hand in hand, they lay on the bed, watching the stars through the skylight.

"Robin."

"I'm here."

"Do you think… a world where everyone is happy really exists?"

Anming's voice was quiet. He wasn't lost—just curious.

What would such a future look like?

Robin whispered, "All I know is that you make me happy. That's enough."

Even as a superstar, that truth never changed.

Maybe the ideal paradise didn't exist. But wherever Anming was—that was her Eden.

"Thank you," Anming murmured, stroking her cheek. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight~"

Robin clung to his arm, drifting off quickly.

Anming, however, suffered. With her warmth pressed against him, he counted stars until exhaustion finally pulled him under.

But that night, the real victim was someone else.

Sunday paced his room, agonizing over whether to eavesdrop outside Anming's door.

What if things moved too fast? Would he be an uncle by next week?!

This wasn't right!

Tossing and turning, Sunday endured his inner torment.

He knew Robin would fall for Anming someday—but not this soon!

He wasn't ready! What if Anming showed up one day with an ultrasound photo and a sports car, whisking his pure little sister away? Next thing he knew, there'd be a kid calling him Uncle Sunday!

Farewell, my sister. Sunday weeps. Damn you, Anming—TAI CHU YOU WEI!

Next Morning

Dark circles under his eyes, Sunday saw them off. Robin blinked worriedly.

"Brother, don't overwork yourself."

"I'm fine. Just be careful out there."

His gaze shifted to Anming—also sporting faint shadows—and he felt slightly better.

"You too. Keep Robin away from the frontlines."

"Don't worry. I'll protect her."

Anming nodded, yawning. Surviving a night cuddled up to Robin was a feat.

But their dark circles told different stories.

Anming had lost sleep holding his sweet little bird.

Sunday had lost sleep debating whether to Tai Chu You Wei the couple into oblivion.

"Brother, we're off! Take care of yourself—no all-nighters!" Robin waved, sliding into the passenger seat.

With sunglasses, a beret, and her blue hair tucked into her coat, she was nearly unrecognizable.

Anming gave a final wave before driving off.

Sunday watched the car disappear, praying they wouldn't return with medical paperwork.

On the Road

Robin stretched her legs, smiling at Anming. The thought of their "honeymoon" made her giddy.

But Caspelinat-VIII wasn't just a getaway. The planet was ravaged by war—Robin hoped her songs could ease the pain.

Maybe, just maybe, Harmony's melody could change something.

She dreamed of a world where music built paradise.

"Anming… I heard Caspelinat has a beautiful ocean. When the war ends… let's go see it together."

Her cheeks warmed as she imagined it—Anming kneeling at the shoreline, proposing under the horizon.

Marrying him would be her happiest ending.

Robin couldn't help fantasizing. Even a simple life with Anming would be enough.

She'd have Sunday officiate the wedding. Watching her brother bless their union—perfect.
