When Felix returned home from his visit to the witch, Remi was already waiting for him at home. Curled up on the bed, pretending to sleep.
Even though his ears clearly twitched when Felix stepped in.
And the smell of jasmine on him was way too strong, as if he had just bathed in jasmine perfume… or jasmine-scented smoke.
Who did he think he was fooling? Maybe on a human it would work, but Felix was a wolf!
Stupid fox. Felix had suspected it ever since his first visit to the witch's house, when he caught a whiff of jasmine. Maybe not the whole truth, but at least that there was a connection between them. And Remi's further actions only strengthened his suspicions.
