A few thugs climbed onto the car roof, ready to attack.
One of them swung a wooden baton and charged at Lu Chengwen, who raised his foot and kicked him square in the chest, sending him tumbling off the SUV and onto the ground. Another guy swung his baton from behind, but Lu Chengwen turned and delivered another kick, sending him flying as well.
Two kicks, two thugs down. There was no denying it—this efficiency was impressive in the eyes of these street punks.
They quickly realized that this guy hadn't come alone for no reason. He clearly had some skills.
The group grew cautious, surrounding him and aiming for his legs.
Lu Chengwen flipped off the car roof in a sideways somersault, startling the thugs into taking a few steps back before rushing him again.
For Lu Chengwen, this was a test.
He wanted to see just how effective the beginner-level *Great Sage Subdues the Tiger Fist* he'd gotten from the system really was.
The results shocked even him.
And it wasn't just him—everyone around was stunned.
This guy wasn't just a man anymore—he was like a fighting machine!
Dressed in a high-end suit and Italian leather shoes, Lu Chengwen executed a fierce and relentless fighting style.
No one could get close!
Anyone who tried would suddenly find Lu Chengwen no longer in front of them, only to be grabbed by the hair and kicked in the head, smashing into a car door with a double impact before rolling on the ground in pain.
Or they'd have their arm grabbed, a sharp force twisting it until their shoulder dislocated.
Or a chop to the throat would leave them gasping for air, unable to breathe for half a minute…
Each one only needed a single strike.
Anything more would be an insult to this fighting style.
Xu Xuejiao was completely dumbfounded.
She sat in the car, recording everything on her phone, so excited she was practically bouncing in her seat. "Holy shit! Holy shit! Chengwen-ge! Holy shit! Damn, that punch knocked him out! That kick was so fucking cool, holy shit…"
Less than half a minute—it was over that fast.
The entire area was littered with over twenty men on the ground. Some were clutching dislocated arms, some were moaning while holding their heads, and a few were already unconscious, foaming at the mouth…
Chen Moqun held a baseball bat, hunched over as he looked at one guy, then another, then lifted his head to stare at Lu Chengwen like he'd seen a ghost.
He cautiously approached Lu Chengwen. "Did you… take Viagra before coming here?"
Lu Chengwen shot him a glare. "Wipe the blood off. Let's go have a chat with Er Long."
The two walked up to Er Long, who was also stunned.
The two women beside him were now trembling with fear.
Lu Chengwen was too terrifying!
Every person who got close to him only needed one hit before they were completely incapacitated.
The two women had thought they'd get to enjoy the show, flirting and giggling while watching Er Long beat up some rich kids.
But instead, they witnessed a suited-up handsome guy tearing through the crowd like a god of war.
And now, Lu Chengwen's expression was cold and intimidating.
They were afraid he hadn't had enough and might come over to beat them up too—that would be horrifying.
Lu Chengwen stopped in front of Er Long. "Can we talk now?"
Er Long slowly stood up, glancing at his crew of now-incapacitated lackeys, his face stiff.
"Hmph. Didn't expect that, brother. You're pretty good."
Lu Chengwen stared at him. "Why did you attack my friend?"
Er Long slowly pulled out a handgun from his pocket and pointed it at Lu Chengwen. "Being good at fighting is fucking useless. Are you faster than a bullet? Kneel!"
Chen Moqun hadn't expected the guy to pull a gun. He immediately stepped in front of Lu Chengwen. "You dare shoot?! Try it, motherfucker!"
"You think I won't?!"
"I fucking dare you! Shoot me if you've got the balls!"
Lu Chengwen pushed Chen Moqun aside, already gripping a small stone in his hand. He flicked it out with force.
The stone struck Er Long's hand, making him yelp in pain as the gun clattered to the ground.
Lu Chengwen lunged forward, pinning Er Long to his seat and pressing a dagger against his throat.
"I'm not faster than a bullet, but I'm faster than your finger."
Er Long glared at him, then suddenly grinned viciously. "Alright, brother. You're ruthless. Today, I, Er Long, have really seen something. What's your name?"
"Lu Chengwen."
Er Long froze. "Lu Chengwen? As in… the Lu family of Snow City? The CEO of Great Sage Group?"
"That's me."
Er Long's expression shifted slightly, showing a hint of wariness. No matter the situation, people with money, power, and status commanded respect—even from enemies.
Er Long nodded. "Didn't expect that. Rumor has it that the young master of the Lu family is a simp and a scumbag. Guess the rumors were wrong. That was impressive today. But, Young Master Lu, I won't submit to you. If you've got the guts, stab me to death! If you don't, I'll keep coming after Fatty Chen. I won't stop until I cripple him!"
Lu Chengwen chuckled and put the dagger away. "Why?"
Er Long rubbed his throat and straightened his clothes. "Ask him what he did!"
Lu Chengwen turned to Chen Moqun, who shrugged. "I… didn't do much."
Er Long exploded in rage. "He slept with my sister! If I can't stand up for my sister, I might as well quit this life!"
Lu Chengwen's eyes widened as he looked at Chen Moqun. "Fatty Chen, is this true?"
Chen Moqun said, "I… didn't know she was his sister. Besides… it was consensual. I didn't force her. I even offered her 500,000 afterward, but she refused."
Lu Chengwen looked at Er Long. "If it was consensual, you have no right to cripple my friend!"
Er Long snapped, "My sister was tricked into bed! He promised to marry her, and that's why she agreed! After he got what he wanted, he tossed her 500,000 to leave! You think I give a damn about his money?!"
Lu Chengwen turned back to Chen Moqun.
Chen Moqun hurried to explain. "Misunderstanding! It was a total misunderstanding! I saw a hot girl while driving, hooked up with her, and then… you know, the usual. But afterward, she wanted a relationship. You know how exhausting that is!"
Lu Chengwen was exasperated.
He turned to Er Long. "This could've been discussed properly. Why resort to violence?"
Er Long said, "I went to him to take responsibility, but he acted even more arrogant than me. I, Er Long, have been around the block. Should I beg him to marry my sister?"
Chen Moqun retorted, "I've been around too, you know. You came at me like a debt collector—what kind of man do you take me for?"
"Then what?!"
"Then what?!"
"What do you want?!"
"What do *you* want?!"
"Stop! Stop, stop, stop!" Lu Chengwen spread his arms, silencing both of them.
He pointed at Chen Moqun and scolded, "You! You spend all day doing nothing useful, just chasing girls. Fine, chase them if you must, but at least figure out if they're professionals or decent girls before jumping in! Now you've taken advantage of her and don't want to take responsibility? If I were her brother, I'd beat you up too!"
Then he turned to Er Long. "And you! Just because you've got some reputation and a few lackeys, you think you can take on the world. This is a relationship issue, not a gang dispute. Beating him up won't solve anything. What kind of brother are you?"
Chen Moqun was baffled. "Chengwen, what… what exactly are you trying to say?"
"Yeah," Er Long was equally confused. "I get why you're scolding him, but why me? You're cursing both of us—I don't get it!"
Lu Chengwen said, "Relationship issues should be decided by the two involved. Beating him up won't solve anything. If you go to jail, will your sister visit you every day with meals? These things can't be forced."
"If he wasn't going to take responsibility, why did he trick my sister into bed?"
"I already said it was a misunderstanding, and he's willing to compensate."
"I don't want his damn compensation—I want one of his legs!"
"His legs are thick and fat—what good would that do?" Lu Chengwen said. "Where's your sister? Have you even asked for her opinion?"
"Why bother?" Er Long said. "My sister would definitely agree to me beating him up!"
"Call off your men and invite your sister. Let's have a meal together."
Er Long eyed him suspiciously. "What's your angle?"
"We need a solution, but your sister needs to be there. We need to know how both of them feel about this."
---
At a Chinese restaurant.
Lu Chengwen stared at Er Long's sister, momentarily stunned.
Er Long looked rough and menacing, but his sister was unexpectedly gentle and pure.
Dressed in a T-shirt and jeans, her cheeks slightly flushed, she kept her head slightly lowered, too shy to look up.
Lu Chengwen leaned toward Chen Moqun and whispered, "Damn, Fatty, you've got good taste. This girl is top-tier."
"Obviously," Chen Moqun muttered. "At first, I thought she was some college girl doing a 'first night' gimmick. Only after hooking up did I realize she was a real student."
Lu Chengwen said, "Er Long looks like a troll, but his sister's so pretty. That's not scientifically possible."
Xu Xuejiao chimed in, "Probably half-siblings with different fathers. Explains the genes."
Er Long glared at them. "You might as well say it out loud—I'm not deaf! And if we have different fathers *and* different mothers, then we're not even related!"
Lu Chengwen laughed awkwardly. "Ah, sorry, sorry! It's just… meeting your sister for the first time, got a little excited. What's your name, sis?"
"Su Sanli." She was shy but composed, even smiling at Lu Chengwen. But when her gaze shifted to Chen Moqun, she blushed again.
Lu Chengwen thought, *This might actually work—this girl likes Fatty Chen?!*
He smiled. "Sanli, we're all adults here. No need to be nervous. Here's the thing: because of what happened between you and Moqun, your brother got angry. He's protective of you and almost fought with Fatty… I mean, Chen Moqun…"
Su Sanli immediately panicked. "Brother, why did you hit someone?!"
Er Long instantly grew flustered. "I-I didn't… actually hit him. I got beaten up too—look at my hand!"
"Ahem, alright, alright. Just a small misunderstanding, all cleared up now."
Su Sanli said earnestly, "Brother Moqun, I'm sorry. My brother dropped out of school early and has been messing around in society. He thinks everything can be solved with his fists—he's simple-minded. But he's always been good to me. Whatever he did wrong, please don't hold it against him."
Chen Moqun also grew nervous. "Oh, uh, it's fine. Just a totaled car, no big deal."
Lu Chengwen quickly cut in, realizing things were escalating.
"Sanli, do you really like Chen Moqun? I feel like his only redeeming quality is his money—what do you see in him?"
Su Sanli smiled. "Brother Chengwen, do you really not remember me?"
"Huh?"
Now both Lu Chengwen and Chen Moqun were stunned.
