The heat between Shan Wolf and Eva Kin was raw—palpable even through the cracked door of the public stall. Mei Yoo Jun was by tge next stall, familiar voices filtered through the air. Her ears perked, heart fluttering in confusion and curiosity.
"Why is Shan cheating on Ms. Mikage?" she muttered under her breath, still unaware that Shan and Ingrid were not an item.
A moan cut through the silence.
"Ugh… right there, boo…"
Eva's voice, breathy and soaked with longing, left no room for doubt. Mei's heart sank.
"I missed you so much… Eva…" Shan whispered, cradling Eva's cheek as she straddled him.
"Me too, my boo," she cooed.
Mei's jaw tightened.
"M… missed? Does that mean Mr. Wolf knows Min Rin?"
Driven by confusion and the desire to know more, Mei climbed up the stall divider quietly and peeked. Her eyes widened.
Eva looked radiant—satisfied—her mouth locked fiercely onto Shan's as he thrust into her. The scene burned into Mei's mind. Her body responded before her mind could intervene, heat pooling low in her stomach.
"If only I was in her position… if only I was Min Rin Kin."
Her fingers crept into her shorts as she imagined what it would feel like—Shan inside her, rough and unyielding.
Meanwhile, Shan gripped Eva's hips, lifting her as his mouth found her breast. Eva clung to him tightly, their rhythm frantic, echoing through the bathroom.
"I'm gonna…" Shan warned.
"Do it, boo! It's a safe day. Just burst me!" she screamed.
Shan let go, spilling deep inside her as their bodies trembled together. He lowered her gently, still panting.
"Now that's… the Eva I know." he whispered.
Ten minutes later, they emerged from the stall—subtle, composed.
"I'll contact you once I give you my answer, Shan. I need time to think." Eva said, brushing her hair back.
Shan nodded and offered a warm palm to her cheek.
"I'm not here to force you. But my job… it's on the line."
"Promise not to use your ability to change my decision."
"Nope."
"You better not."
They shared a soft laugh and parted ways, unaware that Mei Yoo Jun had slipped away moments before—unnoticed, but forever changed.
---
Later that evening, everyone gathered for dinner. Across the room, Eva caught sight of Shan playing chess with an elder. Rae Yoorin sidled up beside her.
"Ms. Eva, how do you know Shan?"
Eva turned, her smile calm but laced with steel.
"Ms. Yoorin, I don't recall giving you permission to call me Eva. Only Shan gets that privilege. Please refer to me as Ms. Kin."
Rae blinked.
"To answer your question, we were colleagues… and victims."
"Victims of what?"
Eva's gaze turned frosty.
"Something you shouldn't know. We're not close, and we don't get along. I see Shan as my older brother—call it a 'brother from another mother' situation."
She leaned in, her voice a blade.
"But heed my voice, Ms. Yoorin. Hurt my Boo… and I will kill you. No questions asked."
Rae stood frozen as Eva walked away, heels clicking.
---
Midnight approached. Shan and Rae were ready to leave until Mei Yoo Jun approached, clutching her bag.
"Mind giving me a lift?"
"Sure." Shan offered with his usual courtesy.
As they drove, Shan adjusted the rearview mirror—and accidentally caught sight of Mei's curved figure resting in the backseat.
"Pfft. Really? At a time like this?" Rae smirked, catching his expression.
"Shut up," Shan replied, flustered.
In the backseat, Mei fluttered her eyes shut, pretending to sleep.
"Admit it—you want to sleep with Yoo Jun." Rae teased.
Before Shan could reply, Rae undid his belt, pulling his hardened shaft free.
"If it were Yoo Jun instead of me right now, would you stop me?"
She took him into her mouth, muffled and taunting. Shan gritted his teeth.
"You're gonna regret pissing me off, slut."
"Do your worst, pervert."
And he did. Slamming her against the seat, he pounded into her, rough and relentless.
Mei Yoo Jun, eyes still closed, imagined herself in Rae's place. Her breath quickened, arousal dampening her panties as she silently watched from behind her lashes.
An hour passed. The car was still. Rae buckled herself up and exited once Shan dropped her off.
"Thanks."
"Yeah."
An awkward silence hung.
"Nice car… I didn't know you drive." Rae said.
"Umm… yeah. Thanks. See you Monday?"
"Yeah. Bye."
He continued driving, pulling up to Mei Yoo Jun's apartment.
"I know you're not asleep. I saw you flinch."
Mei sat up, unsure of what to say.
"Um… I… I didn't mean to… hehe."
She let out an awkward giggle, cheeks flushed.
"I'll be going—!"
She reached for the handle, but it was locked.
"Sob… sob… I'm sorry… please, I'm sorry."
"Woah, hang on," Shan said, quickly unlocking the door.
She bolted into her apartment, leaving Shan bewildered.
"Did she… did she see us?"
---
Sunday evening. Eva sat alone, paperwork spread before her. Her fingers paused over the pen.
"Oh, Boo… you're such a pain… but my kind of pain."
She glanced at a photo frame—her mother and her father. The Chairman.
"You probably don't know this, Boo… but I'm the Chairman's daughter. And I hate him… and that bitch."
Her memories returned—16 years old, top of the class… and constantly compared to Jen Heo Won. The Vice President but 16 years old with her.
As they enter into the car. Jen Heo Won turned to Eva.
"Congratulations on the test, Min Rin," Jen had said with a sugary smile.
But then, Jen slapped her hard across the face.
"You think you're better than me? Don't forget you're just one of my father's toys."
Jen had leaned in and hissed crueler words:
"You may have his blood, but you're nothing but a whore's daughter. Remember that."
The words echoed into the present. But so did another voice.
"You're still the same Eva I know… the girl who plays her cards right."
Shan's voice—warm, grounding.
Eva opened her eyes and made her decision.
---
Monday. The ground floor of Won Group.
"You sure she's coming?" Ingrid Mikage asked, arms crossed.
"Keep frowning like that and you'll age faster," Shan teased.
"Tch. Bastard."
"I'm your bastard," he smirked.
They both turned at the sound of heels clicking against the marble floor.
Eva entered like a storm in silk. Sharp, radiant, and unstoppable.
"Well I'll be damned," Ingrid murmured.
"Good afternoon. Thank you for coming, Ms. Kin."
Eva walked past her, not even a glance.
"Boo," she greeted Shan with a gentle smile.
"Eva."
"Oh, right. This is Ingrid Mikage, HR Team Manager," Shan introduced.
"Nice to meet you," Ingrid offered, a little tense.
"Please, don't call me Ms. Kin. I've made some changes."
Eva turned to Shan.
"From now on, I'm not Min Rin Kin. I'm Eva. Eva Kin."
Shan smiled and took her hand.
"Then, welcome aboard."
"Ingrid, right?," Eva said, voice low,
"If I join Won Group, can I take down the VP from her seat?"
Ingrid raised an eyebrow, then smiled.
"Of course."
Eva turned back to Shan, whispering just loud enough.
"Boo, call me who I use to be back then in that camp."
Shan chuckled.
"Welcome aboard… Eva, the Viper of Deceptions."
