Luz arrived at Munfa's village, his mind filled with worry. He had lost too much—Ino, the Sword of Light, and now Den was stronger than ever. He needed a way to turn the tide of this war.
Inside the village, Munfa led Luz to an old man known for his knowledge of history and myths. The old man greeted them with tired eyes and a deep sigh, already sensing why Luz had come.
"You wish to know about the Minoan Maze," the old man said, pulling out an ancient book covered in dust. He slowly opened it, flipping through the fragile pages until he found what he was looking for.
"This maze is no ordinary place, Luz. It was built by the first light descendant, long before our time. At its center lies the Astral Crystal, a source of unimaginable power. It is said that every light descendant who ever lived has left a fragment of their power inside this crystal to protect their power from being stolen, If you claim it, you will gain all their strength."
Luz's eyes widened. "If I have that power… I can defeat Den and stop the darkness once and for all."
The old man nodded but then gave a grave warning. "Yes, but at a cost. The crystal is not meant to be used freely. If you take its power, it will consume you. After using it, you will die, and your spirit will be absorbed into the crystal, just like the past descendants."
Silence filled the room. Luz clenched his fists. A power strong enough to defeat Den, but at the cost of his life.
"But the maze is not unguarded," the old man continued. "To reach the crystal, you must face the Minotaur Guardians. They were created by the first descendant to protect the crystal from those unworthy. They are incredibly strong, and no one has ever survived their trial."
Luz thought deeply. This was his best chance to stop Den—but if he left now, who would protect the cities? Den could attack at any moment.
"I can't leave now. Den will invade soon. Someone has to stop him," Luz said, his voice filled with hesitation.
Munfa and Elena stepped forward. "We will lead the army while you're gone," Elena said with determination.
"Yeah, don't worry about us," Munfa added. "We'll hold Den back as long as we can. You need to do this, Luz."
Luz looked at his friends. He hated leaving them, but he knew they were right.
"Alright," he finally said. "I'll do it."
With that, Luz began preparing for his journey, knowing that the road ahead would be the most dangerous he had ever faced.
