Ayenna opened the door.
"You're on time." She said. "For once."
"Sorry, Yena," Senia said, pulling her into a hug. "We get sidetracked."
"I hope you don't mind, we bought the princess along." I said, stepping aside so that she could see Anna, who hid behind me.
"Oh, sure, welcome Anna." Ayenna bowed gently. "Come inside, it's muggy out there."
Senia walked in, and Anna followed, the both of them heading immediately to the kitchen. Ayenna stopped me by putting her hand on my chest as I made my way to join them.
"Just a second, Lukas." She whispered.
"Hmm? What's up?"
"Rowan's upstairs, he's sick. Could you take a look at him? I'll keep Senia, and the princess entertained.
"Actually, Yena, Senia is a remarkable healer."
"Rowan is always nervous around her for some reason, I don't want him to move."
I raised an eyebrow. "It's that serious?"
She nodded. "The physician said that he couldn't find anything wrong, but I know better. He's sick."
