The first stop for Yuugi was one of his favorite antique shops. A place where he had actually gotten his latest lamp from.
Yuugi was happy to see that the shop was standing, as the owner had told him it may not be after a few months. It was simply because the owner was getting old.
He didn't have any more family, so no one else he knew and trusted would run the business. It saddened Yuugi to hear this, so he decided that he'd pay him a visit first hand.
" Hello ?! Mr. De'Valo ! It's me! Yuugi ! " Yuugi shouted inside the shop, while admiring all his latest items and collections.
The most beautiful item that he spotted was a necklace, that looked very old, elegant and also dipped — marveled in gold.
Yuugi bending down a bit and squinting at the small written ancient scriptures on the necklace as the male heard footsteps approaching from the steps at the back of the shop.
" Ahaha Ah, well well— if it isn't my lovely friend Mr. Mutou. " Mr. D remarked cheerfully. His white long beard, with his white short hair, and crippled walk as he walked towards Yugi.
Yugi having a friendly written smile against his face as he slightly bowed at elder. " Hey! I'm glad to see you. " he would remark.
Mr. De'Valo smiled at Yugi.
" And to you as well. " he would reply, as he slightly coughed a bit.
Yugi feeling a small frown knowing his condition and situation. Mr. D would clear his throat a bit, as he would turn a bit noticing Yugi's visible expression.
" Oh no, don't give me that look— we both knew the time would be soon. " he stated.
" ... Yeah... I know. " Yugi would softly remark.
Mr. D watching as Yugi walked around his shop a bit admiring all the trinkets, valuables, and other items. He would eventually start following Yugi around slowly but surely.
" See anything you like today? " he asked.
Yugi continued to walk around, and noticing Mr. De'Valo's book collection. Tiling his head to the side a bit, and reading some of the titles.
The male would slowly take out one of the books, and skim through it as Mr. D finally caught up towards him. Yugi noticing the other, as he turned heel and spoke.
" Wow. These are amazing. " he commented.
" Why thank you. " the elder replied.
" Where did you— " Yugi was about to ask.
" My family has held unto these books for centuries.. these do run a fetching price, but I won't ever sell them. " he explained.
" Oh? Then why— " Yugi was about to also ask but then the male would finish explaining.
" Renting. I place them up so people can rent them to read, and then once you're done reading them you bring them back. I give them at least a month to hold the book. "
" ... I see. " Yugi remarked.
" Of course, there is a heavy fee price if you end up taking my book longer than expected. " Mr. De'Valo added.
" Yeah... I understand, has anyone ever attempted that? " Yugi asked, holding one of the books in hand.
Mr. De'Valo chuckled and nodded.
" Yes— yes, of course they didn't get very far I should add. It's a shame that someone wants to steal a book, but— I suppose he must've really liked it. " he explained.
Yugi chuckled a bit as well, and looked down at the book in his hand. Turning towards Mr. D all the way and moving the book around.
" I guess I'll take this one ! " Yugi said cheerfully.
Mr. D smiled, and nodded towards the other as he reached out and took the book. Reading the title he started to form a grin.
" Ah! You have good taste. This is one of my favorites, Dark Seas. An adventurous book indeed. "
" Really? Well, I always did like adventure, mystery and romance. So I figured this would be a great selection for me. " Yugi pointed out.
" Mhm, it suits you. " Mr. D replied, as Yugi and him both headed towards the front of the store. Mr. D slowly getting behind the counter, as Yugi went to the other side.
After a little while with some small paperwork, a stamp and a signature from Yugi, he was ready to check out with the book. Mr. De'Valo picking up the book and handed it towards Yugi.
" Take good care of this book for me, and it was good seeing you again young one. " Mr. D stated with a genuine smile.
Yugi reached for the book and looked up at Mr. D with a grin and nod.
" Thank you very much! I will, I promise. " he replied as he turned around and headed for the shop door.
The male waving goodbye in the process, as he headed out and went back to the car. The guard awaiting for Yugi, as he opened the door allowing the male to get inside.
Yugi proceeded to head towards his next location, somewhere he loved to go eat. Then proceeded to head towards a museum, an art gallery and the park.
Checking the time every now and again, as he noticed it was going on 3:00pm. He sighed a bit, and remembered he had a dinner date with Yami.
He was extremely nervous about that, due to what transpired between them. He also didn't know what the night would bring.
Could they really simply forget about it, as if it never happened? Yugi pondered as he leaned against the ledge of a railing.
Watching as others walked around the park, without a care in the world. Yuugi noticing a couple holding hands as they swung their arms back and forth.
Yuugi couldn't help but smile and admire their love and affection. While doing so, Yuugi remembered something he felt when he first spoke to Yaami.
Their entire encounter was outrageous to him, but it was somewhat ironic in a way. After all, he did end up working for him in the end.
Yaami telling Yuugi he could protect him, and also satisfy him. Implying that there would be many more times that they would have sexual relationships.
Even when Yuugi thought about it, it made him blush, but he really wanted to be upset. Although, he couldn't bring himself to make such a fuss. Truly he enjoyed having sex with Yaami.
Which only made him angry at himself, as Yaami was far from a man whom deserved that. At least that is what Yuugi told himself, because of what transpired between them.
Yuugi assumed that he'd date someone with a more softer side, but for some reason he was drawn to the bad boy aura. Perhaps that was his taste after all.
Yuugi sighed, and checked the time again, and his orbs widened realizing how time was passing by. He quickly turned heel and rushed back to the vehicle awaiting him.
He needed to head back to the house and get ready, otherwise he'd be in serious trouble. According to Lady C that was, however Yuugi didn't wish to find out what that was.
The male returned back to the car and looked at the driver. " Take me back to the mansion please, I'm ready for my date. " he remarked.
The driver nodding, and the guard closing the door for Yuugi, as the guard got on the other side. Yuugi moving from the park, as he watched as the trees and people passed them by.
The young male closing his orbs, trying to relax his mind and not wandered about the what if's. He only hoped that this evening with Yaami would go smoothly for the both of them.
If not, only more trouble would come his way.
