The look on his face wasn't a comfortable one. In fact, I didn't feel too comfortable with it.
Felt like he has just been told some bad news and he was coming right to me to tell it to. Well, why the hell would he even come to me for that? Didn't he have council people that he could talk things with?
I realized that there was only one reason for that. And the reason was he already knew exactly who the culprit was.
And that person was me.
I didn't say anything yet. He looked at me. I looked at him, my gaze held steady.
He walked into the room and sat on the bed, completely ignoring me.
The suspense was biting. I really wanted to know what the hell was wrong. But if I was the reason why he was feeling and looking that way, then there was probably no reason why the hell I should ask him anything about it.
I would just have to mind my business and hope for the best. For me anyway.
"I just heard some news," he said to me.
I said nothing.
