Ella looked at him from over her shoulders, ''Let go before you regret it.''
Max did not even flinch by the threat, his delicately handsome face revealed a hint of suppressed anger.
''Oh, you are not planning to take my words seriously?"
''Ella, we have known each other for way too long. You should know that I won't be intimidated by your empty threats.''
Ella turned around, ''Yes, my reflexes are bad and I probably can't fight you. But do you believe that if you don't release my hand right now, I will use my free hand and damage your family jewels beyond repair?"
Max's eyes widened. Those words coming out of her mouth accompanied with her sweet smile sounded awfully vicious.
''And if your ancestors come to settle scores with me, I will tell them that you started it first.''
She raised her right hand and made a fist with it.
''You…'' Max swung away her hand, a vein twitching on his forehead, ''Since when did you become so unreasonable?"
