"What did you do that for?" Selene asked, using her elbow to nudge Nikolas by his side,the moment they stepped into the waiting lounge.
Her voice was finally working again,although she could still hear her heart still pounded furiously in her chest.
She needed to take control of her body but after what just happened she wasn't sure how exactly to do that.
"You know we're currently dating in the public eye, right?" Nikolas said," and we have to make this look real,so that when we announce the news of us getting married there won't be no suspicions" he said,his gaze dropping to her now-plump lips.
Selene's breath caught as she immediately turned her gaze away from him.
She fought the urge to roll her eyes. Of course,that was just another excuse to kiss her. Still, she couldn't deny that she was grateful he had come to her rescue.
