Selene twirled round in her executive chair,using her weight as she pushed herself toward the floor-to-ceiling window that overlooked the city.
Although,her office wasn't as spacious as she wanted,but the second she walked in and saw that window and the amazing view, she was so thrilled. That alone had sealed it for her.
Now standing in the center of the room, she let her gaze sweep the space in front of her.
This office had been her safe space in just a short period,with some few leafy plants on the table and another tucked neatly in the corner.
Two vibrant art pieces hung on the wall. She had told herself that she would buy some more to add more colors to the room, but,and like most things, she had forgotten.
Her eyes dropped to the small stack of files on her desk. The office looked a lot more clearer now that most of the backlog had been handled, leaving only a few urgent ones.
