As the sun dipped below the horizon, Anna and the wolf found a small clearing surrounded by a babbling brook and tall trees. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the sound of crickets provided a soothing background hum.
The wolf nodded in approval, its ears perked up. "This will do," it said. "We can rest here for the night."
Anna nodded, her eyes scanning the clearing. She spotted a small cave behind a waterfall and pointed it out to the wolf.
The wolf's eyes lit up. "That's perfect," it said. "We can take shelter there."
As they made their way to the cave, Anna felt a sense of relief wash over her. They had been walking for hours, and she was exhausted.
The cave was cozy and dry, with a small fire pit in the center. Anna sat down on a nearby rock, feeling grateful for the respite.
The wolf began to gather firewood, its paws moving quickly as it worked. Anna watched, mesmerized by the way the flames danced and crackled.
