Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: The Dream Council

"If Sasrir hadn't arrived, things might have gotten troublesome." Truman looked at Lilith, whose expression grew colder, and reached out into the air.

A woman clad in a dark robe was pulled out from the mists of history.

At the same time, far beyond the outskirts of the Giant King's Court, Amanisis narrowed her eyes slightly, surveyed her surroundings, and entered a concealed state.

In the next instant, the goddess emerging from the historical mists had a gleam of wisdom in her eyes.

She glanced at Lilith, who was confronting Sasrir, and immediately understood everything.

"Secrecy!"

The goddess's body suddenly faded and expanded, enveloping the entire area.

Seeing this, Truman pointed at the Book of Dreams, and a burst of dreamlike phosphorescence exploded, reinforcing the secrecy.

This ability, already formidable, exceeded a certain threshold—everything here seemed to be erased, as if a drawing had been wiped away with an eraser.

Within this secret world, Truman and the goddess stood side by side, observing the surging chaotic shadows and the river of moonlight.

"So this is the power of the ancient gods?" Neither side attempted to break the secrecy, but the various displays of power still broadened Truman's horizons.

"It won't take long," the goddess said softly.

Truman nodded. In fact, the very fact that Lilith hadn't immediately tried to break free from the secrecy revealed a lot.

Perhaps the appearance of the Goddess of Misfortune made Lilith realize that this battlefield was much larger than she had anticipated, giving her the idea of joining forces.

"Let there be light!"

Sasrir's chant now closely resembled that of the ancient Sun God, as scorching sunlight burst from the chaotic sea.

The red moon hung high, casting down its silver glow.

Under the moonlight, the arrogance and madness on Lilith's face vanished, replaced by cautious scrutiny of the Blasphemy Slate in Sasrir's hand.

"The Path of Divinity? Mother, Moon?!"

Lilith's expression changed multiple times, but Sasrir carefully concealed the most crucial elements of the two divine paths, making her eyes gleam red.

The goddess beside Truman narrowed her eyes in curiosity.

"This is the advantage of monopolizing knowledge." Truman sighed, flipping through the Book of Dreams, causing phosphorescent lights to manifest knowledge of the Night, Death, and Warrior pathways.

However, unlike Sasrir, Truman provided the knowledge in its complete form.

For a moment, silence reigned as the two goddesses reconstructed their understanding of the world.

"So this is the truth..." The goddess trembled slightly before finally closing her eyes, letting everything settle into silence.

The revelation of Sephirot knowledge was unimaginably shocking for the two goddesses, allowing them to reassess themselves and plan for the future.

"The Sun behind you is such a true god." Lilith murmured.

The presence of the ancient Sun God erased any doubts she had about the validity of this knowledge.

When bathed in sunlight, she could distinctly sense the difference between the opposing side and the ancient gods.

It was purity—whereas the ancient gods bore too many conflicting traits, making madness inevitable.

"I can cooperate, but you must help me expel my excess characteristics." Lilith looked at Sasrir and Truman.

"Hmm, I suggest you remove the Moon pathway," Truman suddenly said.

"Why the Moon?"

Lilith no longer underestimated Truman and instead asked cautiously.

"Because of what's above." Truman pointed at the real moon.

Sasrir and Lilith's expressions changed instantly!

The Goddess of Misfortune's eyes flickered—she had long known there was something wrong with the stars, but the Moon...?

"Agreed!"

Lilith didn't know what Truman had realized, but she was extremely wary of the implications of "what's above" and agreed without hesitation.

"You know more than I expected." Even Sasrir couldn't help but glance at Truman.

Most individuals beyond Sequence Two—even Sequence Three wanderers—knew there was a problem with the stars, but for Truman to pinpoint the Moon's influence on Lilith was beyond Sasrir's expectations.

"Of course."

Truman looked at the three before him, who had now reached a basic consensus, and felt a peculiar sense rising within him.

A grand scheme, one that might have spanned thousands of years in the original timeline, had now begun under his intervention.

"Hmm..."

Truman rubbed his chin, gazing at the three as dreamlike phosphorescence flickered in his eyes.

"Everyone, I have an idea..."

His voice brimmed with excitement as he flipped open the Book of Dreams.

A wave of phosphorescent dreamlight surged forth, engulfing everyone.

The three showed odd expressions but did not resist.

Inside the Book of Dreams, endless dreamlike spheres of light shimmered, pulsating like a roaring tide.

Truman was the first to step inside. With a single thought, the background shifted into a vast cosmic expanse.

With a wave of his hand, the phosphorescence transformed, forming a City of Stars. Towering stone pillars, each a hundred meters high, stood at its periphery as if supporting the entire cosmos.

At the city's center lay an Infinite Dream Palace, each corner exquisitely beautiful, adorned with pearls, diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, and other gleaming gemstones.

But these were merely physical embellishments—within the Dream Palace existed wonders beyond the limits of human imagination.

Here, beauty was abstract, a shifting play of colors and sensations that defied logic—like the vastness of the cosmos, boundless and infinite. Anyone who entered would see the deepest desires of their heart materialized before them.

Endless phosphorescent dreams shimmered, and the four descended together.

"This place?!"

Lilith's eyes were filled with intoxication. In this moment, she seemed as though she could rival the Dream Palace in beauty.

"Ah... mmm..."

A suppressed moan escaped—languid and indulgent. Lilith's eyes glowed as she fixed her gaze on Truman, as if she wished to devour him whole.

Truman had seen this look before—when he first met a goddess.

And no, not figuratively—literally.

"I've never felt so clear-headed before... As if, at this moment, I am truly myself."

It took Lilith a long time to calm down.

This place was a dreamlike paradise, where madness and indifference dissolved into tranquility.

"This place can suppress the inherent madness within you all," Truman explained, tapping lightly to summon an ancient bronze round table with five seats positioned around it.

"From now on, this place shall be called the Dream Council!"

A high-backed chair shimmered with indescribable colors, holding an ocean of endless knowledge.

"God Almighty!"

Another chair twisted with the unfathomable nature of Fate, Time, and History, its warped lines sketching a throne above the spirit world.

"Mother Goddess!"

The third chair pulsed with dark radiance, the convergence of all feminine forces, faintly revealing a corrupt and primeval womb.

"The End!"

The fourth chair symbolized the singularity of all things, the collapse of the cosmos, the termination of gods and the Old Ones alike.
